I wasn't accepted for this "osteria" for dinner because I was only 1 person. The place was almost all empty, the waitress said that there were many available seats but the "manager" (or should I say innkeeper of the yore) checked on me and just said "NO!". Not by saying "I am sorry", or nothing. LOL, this place does not deserve this city, this country, this century, not even this planet.

Excellent food, some of the best we had during our travels in Italy. Gnocchi and asparagus soufflé starters and mains (beef, fresh tuna) were excellent. Small, intimate place. Felt very local. English spoken. Make a reservation if you can! We had no reservation when we showed up and luckily they had one table left. It was possibly the worst table in the place (espresso machine next to our heads, front door on the other side of us) but the service and food were so good we didn’t notice (thanks Elena, you did an excellent job).

Hi! It’s 2023 and this restaurant has RASIST EMPLOYEES!!! Something mind boggling happened to me and my mother at this restaurant. We decided to go eat there, the staff offered us a table and when one of the girls (a chubby, short-haired, brunette girl) came to bring us the menu and asked us where are we from. We answered Romania and she put the most disgusted expression ever and left right away. After not being able to translate the Italian menu and upset about her racist behavior, we decided to leave. At that moment, she asked us if everting is ok and while I was being really nice (and try not to mention the racist event), and told her that we didn’t find anything that we like…She was having an even more disgusted look on her face. It’s outrageous!!!!

If you are looking for dinner that will blow your mind. You don't have to look for it any more because I found the place for you. Here you can taste the most delicious food and beautiful food in all the world. There is the sticker in front of the door that NASA recommends this place, it isn't true, this is the place where NASA was created.

Perfect dinner atmosphere in a small familiar Osteria. Very friendly service, delicious food and excellent wine (house wine). Thank you for offering us a table, even we didn’t have a reservation.

True italian experience and great pasta (we had gnocchi with ragu). Highly recommend!

A very niche experience not for everyone. The food was excellent, and the service very good. The classic dishes I imagine are not for all but what we had was cooked perfectly. The only issue is the menu which is accessed by a QR code, its not very descriptive and the translation option needs improving, but the staff are very helpful and patient in helping and know the dishes well as you'd expect.

Wife, son and I just had the last dinner of our holiday in Germany and Italy and this meal was probably the best. This small restaurant, with its short regional menu and wonderful owners and staff, was a delight from start to finish. Excellent fresh local cuisine prepared with care and friendly service was just what we hoped for. Judging by the mostly local families and couples here, this is a much loved establishment. We are thankful for the experience and recommend it to others!

Great dishes! The portion of the lasagna was maybe a little small, but still delicious. The tiramisu is also very good!

A spectacular selection of authentic local cuisine in decent portions and reasonable prices. Has won many awards and is full of locals. Staff attentive and friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend

Nice characteristic osteria in the town center. It can get really busy during lunch time so make sure you make your way early. Worth to try the sarde in saor, although some of the main dishes were a bit too simple.

We came here twice - one for the lasagna and once for the gnocchi. Both were very good, there are gluten and lactose free options that are meat based. The tiramisu was excellent and large. Good quality / price ration and rapid service.

Typical restaurant of famous dishes of Veneto in Padova centre! The restaurant is very small but they were super nice to arrange a table for us even though we haven't booked before. Dishes were typical from the region cooked in typical recipes, so if ur looking to have a taste of Veneto, I recommend it! And the dessert is very very good! Homemade with great taste!

The sweetest service and amazing food. I had braised pork cheek over polenta and it was to die for. We had a reservation but they weren't able to seat us right away so they gave us prosecco and made up a table in the entryway until a better er spot opened up. Felt like family and it was all supreme 💗

Food was just ok. You expect more. It's not bad. Service is great but you get charged 2.50 per person for nasty bread which is placed down without olive oil or balsamic. Robbery. However, we were offered grappa after our meal. It was close to 40 euros with a 1/2 of wine. 1 primi. 1 secondi. That's nuts. Again, service was outstanding.

Had the feeling of being back in time. Art deco interior, quiet, with attentive and intelligent service. Sophisticated and simple, excellent wine. A place to linger and just enjoy being in Padova, and experience the delicious special dishes.

The food was alright not so special. The staff though was not the best..then they forgot to bring the drinks (we had to ask for it), we had to ask for parmezan etc, overall acting not the best. We only went there because it was one of the few places that opened at 7.30 pm and not at 8 pm or later as we had to catch the train back. Therefore, I would only recommend it if you are also looking at something opened sooner or you are in a hurry. Otherwise, I think there are better places out there.
