This is incredibly terrible service! I come for the third time from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., when there are no customers in the cafe, all the tables are free, but there are reserved signs on them. The reservation is always for the evening after 17.00. I come with my two-year-old child to get a quick lunch for half an hour, but I am constantly refused, explaining that the tables are reserved for the evening. What's the problem that I can't occupy this table until the evening guest arrives? There is no tolerant attitude towards foreigners! When my English friends booked a table here for my birthday, they were not refused, when I come alone - they show me the door! The staff communicates with me terribly and I do not recommend this place at all! You have to book a table only by phone and a few days in advance, I just hate it! It seems you don't need many clients, but only among your circle of friends and only those who will leave you a lot of money for your birthday. You have no idea what quality European service is! The John Mill restaurant is much better, you have a lot to learn!

It was pleasant enough on a very damp day. The food was well-cooked, and the Guinness was just fine. Incidentally , the cheese, and onion pie here was actually quite unique — I enjoyed that a lot. This definitely wasn’t one of those sort of meals wherein you would’ve preferred to have gone to a chippy for it

Wow wow what a fantastic clean, tidy place, very friendly staff. The food was excellent the best Sunday lunch I have ever had. I had a two course meal for £10.50 yes only £10.50 and it was amazing a must place to visit

The food here is amazing. I've been a few times now, and it's always delicious. You'll have to book because it's always busy, which says it all. Its a selection of tapas to more traditional pub grub but taken to another level. Highly recommended this place to anyone. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

Been waiting to visit this pub after several work colleagues recommended a visit, fantastic authentic Canary Tapas, great choice of dishes excellent advice from friendly staff, the food was amazing. If you don't want Tapas, they have a wide choice of other food on their menus, and specials too, usual favourites and large choice of desserts, you will need to book, very competitive prices as well, child friendly, well organised, and recommend a visit

Your administration and bartender know how to lie perfectly here for the sake of preserving your reputation! As for the situation with the woman and the 2-year-old child, it was different. I entered the cafe and went around all the halls in order to find a free seat, I asked the bartender if there was a free table, to which I was answered rudely "No." I didn't even sit down at any table, you wrote here in a comment that I was already sitting at a table and didn't go to the bar - that's your nasty lie here! When I just stood in the hall and waited for 10 minutes for the bartender to get back to me with an answer if I could sit at any table before the next customer came, the bartender ignored me and continued to do her job. And the people who live in Milnrow know very well that you really just keep tables reserved for no reason and prefer those customers who have been coming here for a long time in the evenings and put extra effort and prepare something for new customers who will not give you a high check - you you won't This is very far from European service, and I worked as an administrator in a restaurant and I know very well what high service should be for any client. You will need to review your reserved table policy that is empty all day until 5pm if you want to be competitive. And the title "restaurant" is assigned for many nuances in the service, and when not even a waiter can approach the client (because in all 3 of my visits there was no waiter in the hall) and you write that the client is forced to look for a bartender himself - it's just not a pub high level.

Service was second to none! Everyone was so attentive and couldn’t be more accommodating for our table of 12 for my grandads birthday. The food was absolutely impeccable, not one complaint at all from any of us. A great mix of pub classics, fresh seafood (mussels were beautiful), and the tapas was incredible too, plus proper home made chips. I only had one issue with the dessert menu in that I wanted multiple cheesecakes as they all sounded too good 😂. Definitely be back!!

I worked as an administrator in an expensive Ukrainian restaurant in the capital Kyiv, it is a European restaurant and I know very well what high quality service and customer service is. Everything you do is a failure because you don't motivate new customers to come to your cafe. I also ask you to pay attention to the dirt and old scratched tables, which are not very pleasant to sit at. I do not recommend this cafe.

Amazing food, excellent value for money. Would have given 5 stars had it have not been for rude and arrogant staff. Felt very unwelcome and couldn’t wait to take our money and get us out! What a shame we won’t rush back!
