I was refered here by my vet for some work doing on my pup and I've just been so impressed with this place. The vets are extremely knowledgeable and patient to explain anything and will give you as much time as you need. When I picked up my dog I was given so many leaflets... Pieces of paper... With so much after care I information. Even the food I brought had labels on it so they can manage it internally. Everything is just well run here and you are in great care if you go here for anything. The nurses are all helpful and welcoming.

Had our 11 year old bull grey here recently for a tibial tuberosity advancement, our dog is now home and has 12 weeks of rehabilitation with a set of very strict instructions to follow. Would recommend them. Edit: However did call with concerns on Friday and was asked to email them, and then a nurse would call me back ASAP it's now Sunday and haven't heard back.. 🙄

Very happy with how we and Sadie were treated. We were given an appointment very quickly. The receptionist greeted us by name. CJ the vet explained very clearly what had happened, the treatment options and the nature of the surgery. We were telephoned by the vet following the surgery. At the discharge appointment we were given detailed information on medication, wound management and rehabilitation. Everyone we met was pleasant and helpful. Thank you all

Emergency op for my cat. Every single communication was very helpful, thorough and informative. Very friendly and helpful staff. Felt my pet was in very safe and caring hands. Thank you so much Torrington!

I do not wish to go in to any detail about the lack of care my pet was given while a patient at Torrington Orthopaedics but suffice to say the whole experience left me extremely upset and fuming. I would not recommend anyone who loves their pet to use their service and if I could give 0 stars then I would.

I would like to say how really lovely all the staff are, so caring and considerate. They looked after Poppy who had leg surgery as though she was one of their own dogs, the nurse gave me regular updates and was happy to answer any of my calls which were many to check on how poppy was. The surgeon fully explained what was happening, took a lot of time with us explaining and how everything would be done during surgery. I can highly recommend this practice and all those who work there, first class service with a friendly smile.

The thoroughness, high professional standards and pride in the work that the practice carry out is evident from the first contact. From receptionists to clinical staff, each individual genuinely cares. Andy’s rapport with dogs is second to none, he was able to click with Ollie and was aware of dog behaviour, a massive green light for me. Knowing that Ollie was safe, cared for and his behaviour & communication respected put us at ease whilst he had the procedure. We’ve not looked back since the operation. The Team at Torringtons are wonderful!

What impeccable service. It's not cheap but they looked after my cat so well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very professional. This team knows their stuff and make sure everything is explained in detail. The care given to our dog for her knee surgery was second to none.

A frustrating experience for us, due to poor communication and organisation. Ended up having our dog's op done elsewhere, because the one person who can schedule these things was on holiday, then didn't get back to us, despite being chased up twice. Nevertheless, we were charged £300 (inc VAT) for the initial consultation, which seems steep, at £5 a minute.

The team are always lovely and helpful and the service is great. They always do what they say they will. My dog Luna has been working with Andy he will only recommend treatment he absolutely deems necessary, so you can be confident you aren’t over spending or putting your pet through unnecessary distress. My dog has a few things wrong and it’s difficult to figure out what is causing the actual pain. What I like about Andy it that he is very honest and if he thinks it’s outside of his knowledge, or isn’t sure, he will just say so. The whole team genuinely have the animals best interests at heart and clearly care a lot. I trust them completely to do all they can for my pet

The Team have always been very kind and compassionate with Missy and her struggles with managing her mobility and treatment of arthritis. Missy is having acupuncture sessions with Helen Torrington currently which have supported Missy with pain management and improving her quality of life, Highly recommend 🐾
