I have dealt with Donna on two occasions. The dresses and service are second to none. Donna cannot do enough to help you. The dresses are outstanding and there is a huge variety to suit everyone. I felt amazing in my gown. Huge thank you Donna. I will be back again soon. I would thoroughly recommend.

We have visited the Prom Den twice, once in Lightcliffe and yesterday at her new shop. Donna is so amazing and really takes her time and made my daughter feel so at ease. I cannot praise The Prom Den enough! Both the service and the dresses are incredible. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and makes you feel at ease. Donna helped me find my perfect dress and made me feel completely comfortable. She has been so helpful and does everything she can to give you the best possible experience. The shop is beautiful and elegant, it is very inviting. Can’t thank them enough for everything they have done. Would definitely recommend!! P.S. This is an edit to my review. I am commenting on the review left by Rebecca Lane. I was in the shop at the time that these potential customers walked in. They were a walk-in, i.e. they had no appointment. They were asked to be seated for fifteen minutes whilst waiting for staff to deal with customers who had an appointment. Whilst waiting they looked at some dresses, but left prior to being consulted with. Therefore, I don’t feel they have the grounds to comment on the service in such a negative light when they never had a chance to experience it. As for dresses only being available in sizes ‘4/6’, I have seen dresses being available in a wide range of sizes. I, myself tried on a 12 and was made to feel comfortable and self-confident.

Big thanks to Donna for helping me to find my perfect prom dress. She picked out multiple styles for me to try and I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all. I found the perfect dress for me thanks to Donna (which was completely the opposite to what I thought I wanted). Even though not all the dresses I tried on were the right size she helped me to be able to envision what they would look like. Something that’s amazing about the Prom Den is that once you’ve chosen your dress no one else from your school can have the same one (not even in a different colour)!! All the staff at the Prom Den are amazing and I would 100% recommend the Prom Den for any prom/party dresses. Thank you so much x

Best experience I could’ve possibly had! All staff members were really down to earth, friendly and very helpful. You get one member of staff assigned to you so that they are only focusing on you which I think is really nice. The girl helping me was Mia and I felt like she gave me the perfect experience including just the general trying on but also taking pictures on the catwalk and ring light and giving me accessories to make the look come together so I could see what it looked like. Would definitely recommend

What an awesome experience,7 ladies all shapes and sizes went to hire dresses for Bosom Friends catwalk fashion show. We we're made so welcome from the beginning and Donna had a dress for each of us ranging from 12 to 26. By the time we finished trying on each lady felt like Cinderella going to the ball. We all looked stunning on the evening and had a fantastic time. Donna thank you so muvj you went above and beyond.

I had the most amazing experience at ‘the prom den’! From the incredible costumer service, to trying on the stunning dresses…. I was in heaven!! I would highly recommend taking a trip to ‘the prom den’, I was searching high and low for the perfect dresses for an important event (Miss Yorkshire) and unfortunately everywhere else i went, either didn’t have the right dress for me or the staff were unhelpful. Donna was the most welcoming, kind, and supportive lady, who found me the most incredible dresses that i fell in love with😍 In fact, i even won!! this is the best prom dress shop i have ever been to. they where so attentive and lovely making sure i was 100% happy with the dress full of lovely compliments and warmth. they have made my prom dress experience and a delight thankyou so much, and i am absolutely in love with my dress ❤️❤️

I found this place whilst looking online for my daughters prom dress. We made an appointment and drove up from Manchester on a sunday. Due to closure of the motorway we was over an hour late for the appointment and arrived at the stores closing time. Donna went above and beyond and kept the store open for us so that my daughter could try on dresses. The store has a lush setting has a massive range of dresses! Donna was super helpful advising my daughter on dresses and accessories ect and my daughter found the perfect dress!! Absolutely recommended The Prom Den, we will be visiting again soon to collect our dress and no doubt for my other daughters prom in a couple of years. Thank you Donna and Team ❤️

Absolutely stunning dresses a bit on the pricey side however stunning. What I like is the guarantee that no other pupil at the same school can purchase the dress from their store once you bought it! And their system works!!

I went today to hopefully to find my perfect prom dress, needless to say I found it! It’s absolutely stunning and has a wide range of prom dresses to suit you. The clientele were all super friendly and understanding, they were there to help find what your style. I love that once they sell a dress to a school no one else can have it wether it’s a different colour or what.

A huge thank you to Donna and all the girls at The Prom Den for helping my daughter chose the perfect prom dress. They helped pick out a variety of dresses (there are a lot) for her to try on, we didn't feel rushed at all and there was no pressure to buy. They let us take pictures of Amelia in all the dresses and go away to think about it, they then fit us in short notice the next day when my daughter had decided on the dress she wanted. They also guarantee that they will not sell the same dress to anyone else from the same school even in a different colour!! I would 100% recommend The Prom Den and not just from Proms!! the dresses are stunning x

What a wonderful prom dress shop experience my daughter had at The Prom Den this morning. The owner Donna and her daughter Lia were both so lovely and welcoming. Donna has a great eye for knowing what dresses to pull out and encouraged my daughter Ava to try lots of different styles and colours on. She was very patient and helpful and we chose a gorgeous dress today that Ava was 100% happy with. Thank you Donna and all the team at The Prom Den! The best prom dress shop . The staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable after hearing about a situation with another dress shop . I felt so respected and comfortable when shopping for my dress . My dress was beautiful and complimented me so much . I recommend this shop if either you feel like you was treated badly in another shop or if your looking for a beautiful dress which compliments all your feautures . No matter your size there is always a dress for you in this shop

I will start with the only positive, they managed to squeeze us in to look for a prom dress for my little sisters prom! Now let’s to the why this is a 1 star review, this establishment is ridiculous. Beautiful dress are a yes but no good if your above a size 6 every single style colour dress was only a size 4/6! Shops like this make young girls feel inadequate and self conscious of their size instead of embracing their curves. The staff couldn’t careless unless you was there paying on the day they couldn’t have been less helpful if they tried, didn’t measure her up or pick dresses out they felt might have suited her. Waste of time if they didn’t have the time to see us correctly they should have offered us an appointment rather than been money hungry!

Fabulous experience from start to finish! My daughter is a curvy girl & she was a little nervous beforehand, but all those nerves disappeared when we met Donna. Donna is just fantastic, she made my daughter feel comfortable & body confident, she tried plenty of dresses on from a fab range of gorgeous dresses & plenty in her size (16/18). We found the "one" and all left super happy! Highly recommended The Prom Den - thanks Donna. ❤️
