Overpriced and poor customer service. Ordered and paid deposit, item came late. When I didn’t chase item up I got rude texts late at night slagging me off. Sticking to glossy high street shops in future!

I’ve been a customer of Brief Encounter for some time and always like to go there because their service is excellent and I always feel welcomed. They often go above and beyond my expectations. The other day, my Mum went in with my sister who has severe mental health problems and learning difficulties. She’s not always the easiest to deal with but Charlotte was so kind and patient with her and she left with probably the first bra she’s ever had that fit her! Thank you Charlotte and everyone at Brief Encounter for being a brilliant local asset.

I visited this shop a few weeks ago, following not being impressed with the quality of the latest bras I had purchased from M&S. I was greeted by Laura, who invited me for a bra fitting and educated me on how bras should fit correctly and allowed me to try different styles and came away with three new bras which I feel confident provide the necessary support. Having a fuller bust, I have always found bra shopping stressful, but this was a pleasant experience with knowledgeable like minded staff. Would definately recommend and will return in the future.

Visited Brief Encounter boutique this afternoon,with my daughter.We were greeted by a warm welcome.The Sales Associate was attentive, and very knowledgeable .She conducted the bra fitting service with effiency ,and sensitivity.The sales team made the whole shopping experience relaxing and fun.Could do with a few chairs,for those waiting.I plan to visit again. I was using M&S for bras but as I’m bigger busted M&S bras were poor fitting. Contacted Brief Encounter and came in for a bra fitting and they helped massively. They didn’t even use a measuring tape and knew my size just from looking at me. Can’t thank them enough. Definitely recommend and I will not be using M&S again xx

Lovely friendly staff who make you feel welcome and comfortable, amazing at fitting without a tape measure. Lovely selection and they are more than willing to order if you size isn't in stock. Highly recommend looking forward my next visit thank you 😊

Having never been fitted correctly and wearing uncomfortable bras, I thought I would come and try Brief Encounter after reading fab reviews online. All I can say is 'why didn't I come here years ago'!! The whole experience was fantastic.no tape measure..I was fitted by eye. Kind courteous and explaining and answering my questions. These ladies are fabulous. And you can donate unwanted bras that don't fit to charity. I will definitely shop there again.

Excellent service here today. From just looking at me, Laura knew exactly what size sports bra would fit. They had a very good selection of styles, sizes and colours. The service was attentive and I was grateful for the advice. Thank you so much. I recommend this business and will return.

Who knew buying a bra could be so much fun? Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful, kitted me out very well and my wedding dress fitting today was perfect as a result. I can't wait to return. A real find!

I came to brief encounters to get myself fitted properly for a bra as I have been wearing badly fitting bras for ages now, and I have to say that I was made to feel very welcome by the very friendly staff and Julie who did my fitting was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for her, her expertise in this field was amazing, I didn't feel at all uncomfortable and I left with 1 super comfy bra and another on the way. I visited Brief Encounters today for the 1st time having walked past the shop for many years - just wish I had visited sooner!! The staff were so attentive and had excellent knowledge. They were able to get me the perfect fitting bra by just looking at me! Very impressed with the service and walked out of the shop very happy with 3 new perfectly fitted bras! I cant recommend these Ladies enough. After recent Breast Cancer Surgery I could no longer wear my usual style of bra. They were understanding, attentive and fantastic advice. The bra was such a great fit I left wearing it. Thank you do much. I really appreciated it

I visited this shop recently to purchase some underwear for my Girlfriend as she loves this shop. All I can say is the staff who work here are amazing and gave me every bit of advice and help I needed. The lingerie that's stocked here is top notch quality and so luxurious.
