They charge for the room without telling you that you must pay another $150 for a security deposit. I only had cash so I had 4 kids at checkout and had to wait for a lady to go check the room. She took 15 minutes. It feels like they are treating you like a thief and it was not appreciated

Great place to spend the night. Restaurants are a mile up the road. This motel is one of the better Comfort Inn establishments that I have stayed at. Motel is kept up and the staff is friendly. It was good to see the breakfast in the morning. Guests are able to get something hot and sit down and eat like before. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The room was spacious and like new. Everything was neat and clean. The staff were terrific at the breakfast. Location is superb for easy access to the rest of South bend area.

One of the only hotels left in the area that have jacuzzi suites available! They even have a hot tub and a sauna (which was unfortunately out of order). Heated pool was at a perfect temperature and the breakfast was delicious! Very reasonably priced and would highly recommend staying here

19 hours ago on Google My wife and I stayed here for a night game at Notre Dame. It’s about 15 minutes from the stadium. It’s nice and clean. They have a hot breakfast in the mornings also. We would stay here again

Comfort suites in Roseland/South Bend/University area 52939 state highway 933 South Bend 46637 Horrible The owner cut the pay of a 48 year old grandmother that takes care of a disabled person down to 7.25 hr he made her sign a paper saying if she quit within 30 days her pay from 14.00 hr would drop down to 7.25hr She worked from 6/23/23 to 7/23/23 we kept complete records of days and hours She told them the job was too hard for her so she worked the 30days. he claimed she was 2 days short while he smiled at us So she was out over 300.00 of pay! She never called off even came in on days off I'm so glad she quit.We feel sorry for the other employee's he takes advantage of!No insurance! They steal the tips!unless you give it directly to housekeeper! His name is Horrible Harry please ask him to pay her the money he owes her!I will update this post if she gets it!7/30/23 6/23/23New job9-3:05 10.00 tip 7/22/23 10-3:33 no tip 7/23/23 off Obviously we don't expect a person like this to do the right thing

As a photographer, I stay in a lot of hotels. My king suite was clean and comfortable. The Hotel staff was friendly. My one night was quiet and I slept very well. I have no complaints.

Very nice hotel for the price! There isn't a whole lot around it, but it's close to the highway and there are stores within ten minutes of it. Clean, cozy rooms! Can't complain!

We had stayed at this hotel several times with no issues. On our final stay, we checked into a room and it wasn’t freezing, but the heat was just not blowing hot air. We called the night manager who immediately came upstairs to check it out, confirmed it wasn’t blowing hot and gave us a key activated for the room next door. He said "I have to put the room out of service and housekeeping needs to clean the room anyway since you used it, so just keep both rooms for the night if you want. You can have a dressing room and a sleeping room, one person likes it hot or cold, I don't care, just check out of both rooms in the morning." So we did just that. I slept in the cool room and my partner slept in the hot room. When we were leaving, we did like the night manager said and checked out of both rooms. The morning manager said, “well you used both rooms so I’m charging you for both rooms” and did not believe us that the night manager said we could use both rooms. We only checked into one room but got charged for two and there was no rationalization with them. We called the GM, Nick, who was rude and accused us of lying so we’d get two rooms. He said he had all the evidence he needed, he could tell we’d been using the key cards for both rooms. Still no rationalization that the fact we had working key cards for both rooms meant we had permission to be in both rooms. The night manager should have turned off the key card access if we didn’t have permission. We contacted CHOICE hotels corporate office and they can’t do anything about it because it’s a franchise. Thankfully I was able to dispute it with my credit card.

Water was nice and hot for my spa bath, pretty quiet considering it was by a busy road. I loved that they had Christmas decorations!

Clean, reasonable prices and great breakfast. One of the few area hotels with jacuzzi suites.

I'd give it 5 stars, but it is a little out dated. Other than that it was WONDERFUL. staff were quick and friendly. Pool was perfect, hot tub was warm. Beds were so comfortable. Bathroom is roomy. Rooms are a good size, I didn't feel ontop of anyone else in my room. This was a spur of the moment stay (daughters 3rd birthday) & it's within 10 mins of our house. I would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying here during our annual Girl's Golf Trip. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, & the pool is promised to be open next year when we come back! Yep, we've already reserved our rooms for 2023!

I am extremely disappointed that when my husband and I left our 2nd floor room to check out and we noticed that the elevator floor along with the main lobby floor between the elevator and the pool entrance were extremely wet. I stopped at the desk to obtain a printed copy of my receipt and to inform them that my disabled father and his friend would be leaving soon, could someone please wipe up the floor. My father later told me that when they left the floors were dangerously wet but someone had placed wet floor signs in the elevator and in the lobby. Thanks for nothing! I was trying to spare a slip and fall along with a lawsuit!! No worries as I will never book with you again!

Clean. Super friendly. Room felt big. Pool was closed but it seems like I haven't seen a pool open in years. Typical breakfast. Our new go to.

This comfort inn was nice and clean the staff were very polite and helpful. This location has pool and hottub and is 3 miles from casino and restaurants. My queen suite was so large and roomy I was surprised. It's hot breakfast available from 6am to 9am coffee all day. Worth the drive

Good room nice and clean and good service. Front desk guy was trying to be a little to helpful which I guess isn’t a bad thing just a little annoying. I knew where I was going in the hotel and what room and what floor. He was asking me what’s the name and all the info to try and tell me where I was going but I finally just said to him I know where I’m going bud I’m good thank you tho. But he was nice so nothing wrong with that.

Stayed here for 3 nights, was not impressed by much. The room was nice enough, but could've been nicer for the price paid. Elevator at this location shakes and vibrates as it reaches the 3rd floor. Vending machines on each floor are empty, so you're forced to use their "Marketplace" where you'll spend $2.50 on a bottle of store-brand water. They also don't have a POS/Scan system for the marketplace so the staff has to add it up manually. My wife and I tried getting a bottle of soda, and a bag of chips each and it took them nearly 10 minutes to do the math on two $2 bags of chips and two $2 sodas. If you NEED somewhere to stay I'm sure there's other places for cheaper.

Experience was nice. Rooms were clean upon arrival, the free breakfast was tasty. The wifi in the rooms didn't work, unfortunately. Overall, would stay here again.

Not updated/modern at all, staff kept turning the heat completely off in our reserved room for a funeral and we literally had winter coats on. Seemed like just a pretty basic, nothing too special hotel. Gets the job done.

Once again (3/4) stays at the Comfort Inn did not disappoint! These hotels are reasonably priced, spotless, comfortable, well appointed, with pleasant helpful staff. The beds are wonderful. We have been travelling across country from Southern California and will always try to get into a Comfort Inn, even if it means driving another hour! Even the breakfast is pretty good!

This was an unexpected stop. Our car broke down on a cross-country road trip. We had to find a place last-minute for several days while the car got fixed, and.. Honestly this place saved the trip. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was great. When it looked like they were going to be sold out they confirmed a questionable third-party cancellation so we could stay until our car got fixed. Breakfast was pleasant, housekeeping was eminently attentive, and our kids loved the pool.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Both times were great. The staff was nice and very helpful. The rooms were nice in size. The pool was heated, and the hot tub was nice.
