First, let me start by saying that my wife and I were very impressed. This was our 1st time Longhorn and we were blown away. If any of you are in the Portage ,IN area, this is a "MUST STOP TO EAT THERE" type of place. The restaurant was very clean. We were sat down right away and the ambiance was a very pleasant one. Also, our server Kevin was absolutely 100% phenomenal. He, by far has been one of our best servers we have had. I told him yesterday that whenever we go there again, we're going to ask for him. A little background on him, he was a cook before there at Longhorn and is a server now. He recommends you different options and is a real down to earth type of guy. Longhorn is blessed to have him as their employee. If we had a bunch of Kevin's in every restaurant, the restaurant businesses would never have any customer complaints. Ok, now to the food part. My first time eating steak in a restaurant and of course, all my meats have to be well done. I ordered to Longhorn Steak, largest steak they serve, and "OH MY GOODNESS" I thought I died and went to heaven. Talk about a well done, juicy, no steak sauce needed type of steak. The mashed potatoes, oh my goodness, very creamy. The best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten. The bread that is brought out to you before eating is so nice and warm that the butter just melts as you're spreading it out. My wife had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with baked potato and she was blown away by the taste it had. She also had the loaded baked potato soup and she says that was the best soup she has ever tasted. We were ready to go and here comes Kevin, "Can I interest you in some desert?" And we fell for it. Kevin recommended to my wife the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake and it was so good. Of course I get in the mood for desert as well and end up with the Bakers Dozen Donut Bites. It was mouth watering and didn't share with anyone and I have no shame in saying it. 😁😁 Don't just take my word for it, try them out and let me know what you think. Remember, ask for Kevin. He's a cool guy and you won't be disappointed. We took bites of our food before I could take a picture. Sorry, but I was hungry. 😁😁

Upon walking into the restaurant, I was greeted kindly with a warm smile from the hostess 😊. The restaurant was full, and I expected a long wait, but we got to our table for three in 15 minutes! The waitress was very kind, and knowledgeable. I upgraded to the ‘strawberry pecan’ salad, and it did not disappoint. The salad is large, on a cold plate, and was very delicious 😋. The “Flo’s Filet” came out great! Cooked nicely, and taste amazing 🤩. Finally, I finished with a dessert, and decided to go with the “Triple chocolate cheesecake” The cheesecake also came out on a cold plate and tasted great! Everything hit the spot tonight, if I could give four and a half stars I would 😋.

Really enjoyed our dining experience at Longhorn Steakhouse. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and there was a 45min. wait for a table. We decided to have drinks at the bar to wait and eventually decided to dine at the bar as well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I really enjoyed the salad with Italian dressing at the beginning of the meal. The salad was very hearty, and I wish I could find the Italian dressing in a grocery store somewhere. The warm bread and butter were delicious also. The salmon and lobster tail were delicious, and the ribs were fall off the bone and had great flavor. The dining ambience was warm and friendly seated at the bar section of the restaurant. We met some new friends and had a great time telling jokes and stories. The bartender did a great job getting our food ordered in an expeditious manner and our drinks/cocktails were delicious. I recommend the whiskey sour with top shelf bourbon. The cost of our meal was very reasonable for the quality of service and overall dining experience. I would go back to Longhorn Steakhouse in Portage, IN for another quality meal at a reasonable price.

Our waitress was super nice . The place was empty and I did not like when the hostess brought me to my table it was dirty so instead of putting my wife and I at a clean table I had to wait for that one to be cleaned . Spicy chicken bites are awesome . Steak was good but it was an odd cut . I will return

The park crusted chicken and mashed potatoes were amazingly delicious. But our server never one time came by to get us a refill on drinks. We had empty glass at edge of table forever and she went by us several times and never grabbed glass or spoke to us. Finally when another waitress brought us our dinner she did ask us if we needed anything and brought our drinks. We normally tip big. Around 30-60% which is big. This person killed her tip by not checking on us and leaving the glass empty at end of table. We both worked in service industry and you have to be bad to not get a good tip from us.

Service is wonderfully attentive and with a pleasant smile, food great and good atmosphere. I go there at least 3 times a month. The grilled shrimps are tender and juicy with the right amounts of seasoned kick. The rice is perfectly fluffy and well seasoned. Steak was slightly overdone, but in all fairness, I asked for it to be well done. It's one of my favorite go-to establishments to satisfy my taste buds.

Thoroughly modern, with an old west, rustic ambiance. Monday evening and very busy. Comfortable seating with pleasant staff, who seated , served us, and answered our time worn queries graciously. Road weary, we were pleased to find an ample menu of nice variety that met our needs for the evening. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood.

Just left from a birthday lunch for our niece. Waited forever for silverware,/place setting, our server never brought the condiments we asked very politely for, and she never asked if we wanted seconds on our empty drinks, even though she passed our table multiple times. It was the slowest service which made for a very disappointing experience, especially for a slow lunch crowd.

Food was very good. My steak was a perfect med-rare. We had a party of 10 w/ only one server and she did great. The Three Dons margarita was great as well. Only complaint was a screaming child a couple tables over..but that happens and it's out of anyone's control. Overall a good time..

Great spot for a reasonable and brief lunch with business, friends, or solo. Prices, quantity, and quality are right. I sometimes even pull out the laptop and work a short while when solo. Menu has plenty of protein and salad options. Some appetizers work wonderfully as lunch meals as well. Worth a stop for a bite during the daytime, and steer clear of the fast food. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. There is plenty of vehicle parking around the facility, including a few "to go" spots too.

Very very very pleasant server, food was yummy. Drink was made so good.

Service was fantastic. Kristin was awesome. So attentive, friendly and fast. Food was good, not mind blowing but the experience was top notch. I’d go back to Longhorn for the service.

Fantastic experience! Not only was our server attentive, but this place can really cook a steak. All four in our party had their steak well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Flo's filet and lobster combo were spectacular!

Nicki was so attentive to our needs and refills. Very kind to our daughter and us. Personable and happy to serve. Adriana the manager was amazing as well. She made sure we were satisfied above and beyond. My ribs were the best I’ve EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! and the Parmesan chicken was also incredible. My husband loves the chicken tenders because they are always perfectly done. My daughter loves the chicken tenders in the bbq sauce. That BBQ sauce is something else, yum! Even our drinks were filled just as we needed them, as if she could read our minds. The dessert, wow! Never in my life have I paid for a perfect taste and portion and received it. The cost was well worth portion, taste and even how great it looked. I actually didn’t have time to get pictures before diving in, simply because of how appealing it looked.

My boyfriend and I come here quite a bit, and they are always on point. We've never had an issue with our steaks whatsoever. They're are always cooked perfect and exactly as ordered. Plus, our waitress on this visit was amazing. Checked on us enough and not too much. Knew exactly what we needed before asking. You can't say that about many places anymore. She could also tell this is our alone time from the kids and just made the experience great. We left full and with smiles (: Great drinks too!

Great food! Food was hot and delicious. White cheddar stuffed mushrooms were fantastic. Waitress was on top of apps, drinks and entrées through the whole meal. Great experience all around. Anniversary dinner was perfect.

I eat out a lot and kinda can't believe this one. What a stroke of bad luck. Where to even begin. There was a hair in our bread roll butter. Steak was ordered mid rare, came out rare. I don't mind rare, but the quality has clearly decreased since last visits years ago yet prices somehow increased. French onion soup was cold, salty and looked like snot. Forgot to even bring out one of our sides. Baked potato was swimming in butter. Firecracker chicken wraps were indistinguishable from store bought stuff you'd pop in the oven. Don't know how to describe this other than a big business chain thinking they can increase prices, decrease quality and expect folks to just go along with it because they brand themselves as bit upscale. Sad.

They were very busy, waiter did an amazing job. Food was delicious but it took 50 minutes for our food to come out once ordered. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that's why.. Other than that everything was very very good and I will be back

Food was excellent like always! I had my go-to Flo's Filet, perfectly tender and cooked the way I requested. The service was so sweet to my s.o and I, and the atmosphere was very familial. No complaints whatsoever!

This is one of my go to spots in Portage. I always come in with the family to dine in and the food is always great! But the one and only time I decide to order pick up it was a HUGE disappointment. So I have to point out I’m a person who always order the same thing and this time it did not taste the same ! Less flavor ! Also BURNT! Just ridiculous . I tried to eat it and all I can taste was the BURNT salmon.

Pretty good for consistency when it comes to their food. I had the filet mignon and shrimp with mashed potatoes, rice pilaf and a salad. It was too much to eat in one setting but made for a nice lunch the next day.

My friends and I had a great time dining here. The staff is very polite and doing their very best to serve customers despite being short on staff. The food is great! I loved the mac and cheese here. The bread and appetizers were also great as well. Above all if I will definitely want to come back here and share a delicious meal with my family and friends again.

I loved everything about this place i walked in at 9:30 not only could i still order alcohol i had the prettiest, nicest server (lex) and the food was amazon and my total was 123$ for 2 people but i eat what i want but round about it should be 75-100$ for 2 people
