If you are looking for a good combination of fine dining, reasonable pricing and tradition, this is a great choice. Service is top notch, cordial and professional.

I genuinely don’t understand how this place received high ratings. I normally don’t go out of my way to review restaurants but this is a PSA. Don’t go here! First of all the vibe and decor are strange and awkward. The server recommended us the fish ball starter and the two seafood pastas as main dishes. Both tasted like a can of tuna was involved in the making of the dish. The sauce on the rice ball had no flavor. The pasta was from a box, you’d think in Italy it would be hand made. The two stars are for the wine and water, which we enjoyed. The home made bread was a flop as well. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Amazing! The restaurant has a very chill and friendly atmosphere. It’s run by three brothers with a strong passion for food and a love to invite their “new friends” (as they say) to enjoy their food. I had the Polpesto as a starter, pasta for first course, prawns for a second course, and the Cassatta Destruttursta for desert. Everything was so beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The staff was probably the cherry on the top. Super friendly, welcoming and really wanted to make sure we enjoyed their food and were having a great experience. Would definitely recommend!!

I can't recommend this place enough. Very knowledgeable waiters in terms of wines and explaining the dishes. The kitchen is amazing, innovative in the combination of flavors,also the dishes look and taste amazing. Sad that we discovered this place on our last day in Palermo, and we only had the chance to visit once. Amazing experience, thank you very much!

We had the pleasure of dining at Carizzi d'amuri one week ago. The great service from Giacomo and the fabulous cooking of Giuseppe made for a most memorable evening. The food and service standards were excellent and one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in Italy. Their restaurant is in a quiet location but you must go there and enjoy the lovely atmosphere - you will not be disappointed. Two brothers and their team doing an excellent job looking after their guests. Well done guys, if we ever come back to Palermo (long way from New Zealand) we will be back.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Italy. Giacomo was an excellent host, he described all of the dishes with such passion and excitement. Everything we ate was so unique and delicious! We have already recommended this restaurant to all of our friends and family who frequent Sicily and the next time we are in Palermo it will be the first place we come. I cannot say enough good things about this place, it was an unforgettable experience

Amazing food with a contemporary twist on local favourites. All three courses and wine were beautiful and the homemade bread was also great. The service was very attentive- our waiters were very charming and happy to help with suggestions. A hidden gem!

This was a great experience for me and my girlfriend. Staff is super kind and attentive, but not overly pushing for more things. They're always present when you want them to be, easily the best service experience during our whole vacation. Food was well made and tasty. Had veal, mussle pasta, limoncello, wines, and deserts, we were happy with all of it! Well recommended place, cozy for couples, felt like they genuinely care for their restaurant.

Such a surprise! This was one of the best food experiences in Palermo that offered an array of Sicilian dishes, all homemade to divine perfection. The Seafood carbonara and the Nero pasta were delicious but the selection of wine chosen by our waiter to compliment the course elevated it. The ambience was reminiscent of a soulful vintage era with amazing service not commonly found. Overall a must see!

Good experience. Service was good. I had the lasagna which was delicious. Make sure to ask for wine recommendations to servers. A bit pricier than your regular trattoria but it worse it

I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The ambiance is lovely and the food is good; the fish was very fresh. The owner is super friendly and gives a lot of attention to the guests.

5 stars for Mr waiter (with an erring) who was extremely polite, kind and just friendly to me and my boyfriend :)! Plus, I can recommend a tagliatelle with pistachio pesto and raw shrimps - it was outstanding. The portion could be slightly bigger ;).

This place is absolutely a hidden gem, all visitors to Palermo need to eat here! The food is incredible and our server Giacomo, who owns and runs the restaurant with his two brothers, was so kind and attentive. At a very affordable price, you can enjoy some good wine, three delicious courses of food and even crack some jokes with your server if you are lucky. Do not be fooled if it is empty, we were the only three people in the restaurant all night and still had an amazing time. Order the lasagne (a modo nostro), you will never look at another in the same way again...
