This hotel is absolutely stunning. My partner and I stayed over the summer and it was amazing how accommodating and friendly the staff were. I’ve stayed in a lot of 5 star resorts (Mexico/ Jamaica) but honestly, they were nothing compared to how homely and great this place felt. They knew our names by the end of the stay and have us lots of suggestions on things to do and places to eat. The hotel was clean and smelt amazing, we had the breakfast one day and again was absolutely stunning. I regularly think about how amazing this place is and how much I miss it. Parking is available - just make sure you know your car well as it is quite a tight space! Will 100 percent be coming again.

Beautiful, modern and clean decoration. Hotel is super new and it smells so nice. Rooms a quiet, AC works well and quietly, bathroom is spacious. Service is *amazing*: super nice and friendly reception but in a genuine and real way (not American fake style). Great location with many good restaurants around. So happy to stay here. :-)

Excellent hotel located nearby the old city center, adjacent to Torres Serranos. The towers themselves are impressive, a guarding rock tower which used to be one of the gates to access the city. The hotel has a roof top, and a very elegant and cozy design inside.

It was particularly pleasant that the hotel has removed all the usual annoying sounds such as elevator and room-keey peeping. Even all doors close very silent. The staff is so calm and sweet and really attentive. The beds and rooms are super comfortable and I want to add that I am very allergic too dust but I didn't need any medication this whole week which is a clear sign how extremely clean this hotel must be, including curtains and mattresses. The chocolate cake in the morning was incredible.

We had a wonderful experience at Puerta Serranos. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, pillow menu and there service was outstanding. Pablo and Federica made our stay memorable. Will come back and will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Wonderful place! We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. Staff, rooms, service, location, cleanliness, all was excellent. Room was modern and spacious. We had a big shower, comfortable bed and felt like home. Great value for your money. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We booked the "Standard double" which costed already 210+ EUR per night including breakfast. The room: The "standard double" room has a small window which overlooks an inner corridor with the next room being only meters away. It brings NO daylight at all. When you are in the room you can not tell if it's daytime or night. The pictures on the booking websites are very misleading. Staff: I asked at the reception the next day weather it is possible to move to another room. As when we checked in it was late at night and we didn't notice the daylight issue. The hotel recieptionist informed us that because we booked the "standard room" we get this. If we want daylight we have to pay an extra 40 EUR to get a proper window! And they are fully booked anyway and it will only be possible for 2 out of the 4 nights we booked. When I complained that this wasn't even shown in the hotel pictures or description especially that we are paying 210+ EUR, she didn't really seem interested in responding anymore! Breakfast: We played 20 EUR for the breakfast. It's a serviced breakfast meaning you have to request/order from a set menu and that's what you get. The menu was good but it gets repetitive after 1-2 days. No open buffet to choose what you like. (For example you get one slice of bread with eggs, if you want another one you gave to ask!). The service staff were very friendly but they get very busy and the service gets slower during peak. Location: It's a really great location. They provided parking at an extra cost. The entrance/exit to the parking is really difficult to go through even for an experienced driver. We felt that the hotel was overpriced and lacks basics (even daylight comes at a premium which we didn't even know we had to pay for). I don't think we would stay or recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic hotel in a great location - very close to a lot of sights. Saul, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful, and recommended places to visit. Valentino who ran the rooftop bar was also great, and makes a great agua de Valencia! Would stay again if we came back to Valencia

Very modern, clean, spacious rooms with a lovely view of the towers. Location is handy for exploring the old town, plus easy access to the park. Parking was extremely tight (underground), but the staff were very helpful guiding us in and out.

Lovely modern hotel in a superb location for all the sights without being noisy. Rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you need. Lovely rooftop bar with great views across the city. Staff are the real differentiator. Nachos and Angela gave us lots of ideas and help, booked restaurants for us, found pillows for us and messaged us to let us know the details of all bookings. Nothing was too much trouble. It is incredibly refreshing to stay in a hotel where staff really care about guests. Bravo, and thank you to the whole team.

This hotel is a true gem in the heart of Valencia. The location is perfect, rooms are clean and well maintained, the breakfast is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Special thanks to Nacho who made our trip special with his recommendations, he took his time to tell us about the best spots in town (which didn’t disappoint). Highly recommended!

We stayed for seven days and had a wonderful experience. Perfect location close to the old town and the park. Rent a bike for your daily journey around town! The staff is very friendly and always trying to make everything perfect for the guests.

First off, the breakfast is outstanding, probably one of the best in Valencia. The location facing the Tuia park and Puerta del Serranos makes for a beautiful view close to the city's old center. Finally, the hotel itself is 5 stars in terms of staff and building decorations. A unique blend, we'll be back :)

We've stayed in many hotels in Valencia but this one might be a new favorite. Great location at the top of the old town. The hotel has a lovely modern feel and a great rooftop terrace. The basic room is on a smaller side but very comfortable and well equipped. Friendly and efficient staff at the front desk, we'll definetly be back

What a great find! We booked four rooms and our stay the last two nights before a long flight home was perfect. The location, cleanliness, outstanding customer service by every employee, the welcome drink (Agua de Valencia) at the rooftop bar overlooking the beautiful Puerta de Serranos and the room accommodations made this our favorite stay during our vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The proximity to El Mercado Central and the shops, restaurants and bars in El Carmen make this hotel the place to stay! You will love the friendly and helpful staff at Hotel Puerta Serranos as much as you will love Valencia! Definitely a place where we will stay again!

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everyone at reception was happy to offer recommendations and really seemed like they wanted us to enjoy our time in Valencia. We enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop patio between exploring the city and dinner, and the staff upstairs was also fantastic. The room was comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Honestly beautiful hotel! Newly renovated and everything was impeccable. Super comfy beds and great room service! Front desk staff was very nice and gave me great restaurant recommendations and made me resos. They also called me cabs whenever I needed it. The rooftop is quite nice and there was a free welcome drink that you can order and enjoy on the rooftop which was a nice surprise. I didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment.

The staff is horrible. While I understand and agree with the installations only for customers policy, I also believe in exceptions and kindness. Allowing a toddler to use the lobby bathroom shouldn't be a request out of this world, specially for a hotel that's next to one of the most important landmarks in Valencia. On top of this, the staff was very nasty in the way they refused.

I was very, very happy with this hotel. The room was bright, spacious, sparkling clean and had an interesting, unusual design. I loved it. The shower was amazing, the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. Daily cleaning was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is also very good to explore the Old Town and the Turia River park. Most definitely 5 starts to this property.

Great rooms, large by European standards, and views of the Turia and Puerta Serranos. Excellent location and very good food in the hotel restaurant.

Some positives and some negatives. Positive: - staff is super friendly - interior design of the hotel is really beautiful - bathroom was large and comfortable -location is good Negative: - the “view” in the standard rooms are really really bad. I have had the interior/courtyardview in other hotels before but this was like there was almost no light and almost like I was in some kind of institution. - the bed was very uncomfortable. I always sleep very well no matter what but this was way too hard and uncomfortable, my back was actually hurting from it. I personally would not stay at this particular hotel again - but it’s not bad. 3/5 Again, the staff were very friendly and I thank them for their hospitality.

Really nice hotel. Convenient location. Staff were friendly. Comfortable beds and well appointed rooms - I especially liked the lighting options. WiFi worked well. My only minor suggestion would be to have a little more space or some hooks for hanging towels or robes.

We stayed for 3 nights in August. A wonderful hotel, its location, amenities, decoration and cleanliness in the rooms. But the most important thing is the excellent service! I would especially like to note the work of the reception. With special thanks to Claudio, Samia, Patricia, who were very attentive, friendly, and responsive. Haven't seen such a great team for a long time.

One of the best hotel rooms I've ever had. The design, furniture, lighting are so well thought and make you feel great. The reception is amazingly friendly. They gave us a full crash course on Valencia!

Very nice and helpful ladies at the front desk! Due to Motor GP the prices were much higher than normal in this weekend (in all hotels) but this was definitely the best available option in price/quality! We had a standard room which was very clean and had enough space. Whole hotel new and lovely decorated. Very nice rooftop terrace and a good parking garage underneath the hotel. Thanks for the good service!

We have visited again since my initial review and I still think this hotel is outstanding. My husband suffers from Crohns Disease and the wonderful receptionist (sorry I didn’t get your name!) and reception manager Patricia went out of their way to change our room to make it as comfortable as possible for us both. We have never experienced such kind and wonderful service and we appreciate it so much. Thank you so much!!! Original: The most perfect hotel. We have stayed here for 7 nights and opted to say an additional 3. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are so kind and the bar man on the rooftop tonight (Sunday) and yesterday was superb 👌 we can’t wait to come back in the summer. Thank you very much!
