Fantastic hostel, I loved my time here. The staff were super friendly, especially Amiele. The rooms were comfortable and had large lockers for your belongings. We even had a view of the silk exchange from our window! The showers were clean, and had a hairdryer. Location was right in the centre of Valencia, majority of things are within walking distance, unbeatable location. Laundry service was €8, you handed it in at reception and it was returned clean and folded, it was nice to have this done for you. The intimate nature of the hostel attracts friendly guests, which makes for a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if you’re in Valencia!

Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are kept clean. (One bathroom per floor, with two toilets and two showers. Hostel has three floors.) Other guests are very cool and happy to socialize. It is in a busy part of downtown, with easy access to bars and restaurants. There is laundry available onsite. I'm happy to stay here, and would recommend it to others.

This is an amazing hostel!! If you are coming to Valencia and want a hostel to stay out I would definitely recommend here. All of the staff are so kind and all the other guests are friendly too. The beds are comfy (single beds not bunks!) and each has a lovely soft blanket. The lockers in the rooms are quite big and are locked by key not padlock. The showers and toilets are kept clean and to a fantastic standard. The hostel is located almost right in the city centre, with everything in walking distance and is only a couple minutes walk from the large central market. This is a wonderful, homely hostel with amazing, hardworking staff.

Good hostel with activities and funny friends at the time I was there. The chill out Areas could be some better/comfy. Only rooms with max 4 beds and good working AC, dream. Two bad things about this hostel: no oven and this long distance to all the night clubs!

I stayed here three nights. It was OK, but I won't stay here again. Things I liked: * Very central * Friendly staff * Cozy interior * Cleaned multiple times a day * Reasonably comfortable mattresses * No bunk beds so no one above you * Although it's in the busy city centre, there are no outfacing windows so you never hear the noise from the city Things I didn't like: * It's cramped, generally with little space * There are only two showers and toilets per floor * It's old and some things need maintenance * All rooms have a window looking out on the patio, on the ground floor of which is reception, which plays loud music all day every day until 11 pm or midnight * If it's busy and they only have one bed left in the hostel, they charge 90 euros for it. For a hostel bed!! Generally their dynamic pricing model makes their beds much more expensive that those of other hostels, and it's not worth it.

Highly recommend this place. Clean, tidy and in a very good location. I was travelling with a bicycle and got to store it securely, which was very convenient. Also, I owe a special "thank you" to Emiliano, who was genuinely nice and helped me very much with my issues and questions of further exploring Spain.

This is a very nice hostel! The beds and amenities are standard and good but what stood out most was the staff!! They were so helpful with everything, and often went above and beyond. I've never experienced great service like this before, in hostels. It was a very pleasant surprise. Shout out to Paula for helping me so much. Location is very central, perfect as I was able to see most things within walking distance.

Principally this would be a solid hostel. However, it's WAY too expensive for what it offers. You pay 50€ a night for a decent, but not really above average experience. This was the most expensive hostel on my trip but not close to being best. Good things first: The rooms are nice with no bunk beds, big lockers and many hooks to hang your things. It's right in the center of Valencia, surrounded by restaurants, shops and famous sights and you can get to many places including the train station by foot. The staff is friendly and they organize activities for the guests. Now on to the bad things: There is one (unisex) bathroom with two sinks, toilets and showers per floor (which has 6 rooms) so you frequently have to wait. There's no ventilation in the bathrooms and they're extremely hot and humid, and have hardly any options to hang your things. They’re also kind of old. If the hostel had a more normal price I wouldn't even mention it, but for that money I expect, if not single bathrooms, enough showers or at least separate bathrooms for men and women so you can feel comfortable wearing less to make the heat and humidity more bearable. There is breakfast, but it's nothing special, no big buffet, just a table with a few options, and you have to pay extra for it which is outrageous considering the hostel's price. You can't change the temperature of the AC which is set to 17°C. That's such a waste of electricity, no AC ever needs to be that cold, not even in summer. The thin blankets are not warm enough for that, especially in early autumn. Our key cards stopped working twice during our stay of three nights and the kitchen is pretty small. So all in all, the hostel isn't horrible but the value for money is bad so I wouldn't stay there again. 6/10

The rooms are incredibly noisy. All the sound from the street comes in, and there's no sound insulation whatsoever from the door facing the lobby, so you'll hear people and music there as if they're in your room. The room smells musty. Towels cost money and aren't included. The beds are hard. The shower turns cold after about 30 seconds. The wifi in the room is almost unusable. The people are very nice and helpful, the events are fun, and the location is incredible. I've only been treated well by the staff. It's just a very uncomfortable place to stay.

Had a super pleasant stay in Valencia! The staff was super kind and it was very easy to meet people at the hostel in the common area. Consistently a decent level of energy every night (free sangria on occasion, board games/card games), and they have quiet hours instituted at 12AM so it's never too hard to sleep despite being in a quad (4 beds in my room). I will say that it was a bit hard at times to work as someone with a job operating on Pacific Time, but I think the extra quality sleep made this tradeoff worth it for me. Very nice area with close proximity to nice restaurants, cafes, and bars!

To spend a single night it is fine but nothing more, there are no separate rooms for men and women, the beds are too close together and you feel the person next to you practically breathing on you. I paid for two nights but after the first I decided to move to another hostel. It is super well located in the center and the attention of the man who was there at night was quite good

Great hostel in the center of the old city in Valencia, very easy to reach via public transport and near to all main interest points. The staff is super kind, the hostel is very clean and the rooms nice.

Great location, really friendly staff, however the hostel is pretty noisy, has no elevator and the bathroom is kinda smelly. There is also zero privacy in the rooms, as they are not using bunk beds with curtains. They have some activities and a program during the week, however I really cannot recommend the pub crawl, they promote. It is ridiculous expensive and was probably the worst pub crawl I ever attended.

This is my first hostel I ever stayed in, so I didn’t know what to expect. But it was so nice! The first day there was no one in the common room and it was hard to get to know ppl, but the days after there were so many ppl. They are just so open to also meet new people. I had a rlly good time! The only bad thing I think it’s that it’s not very clean. The bathrooms are not clean and the shower was either too hot or too cold. And I found some black hairs in my bed even though I have no black hair. That’s why I think it’s no 5 stars, but I think if you ever go to Valencia you should go here! And one tip I have is organize more things in de evening, so it is easier to meet ppl. Thanks for making my first hostel/solotravel so fun!!

The staff was amazing. Really down to earth, open and calm. They don’t treat you like a customer but just as fellow humans. From the very first moment i felt comfortable. I just have one tip: Maybe add some entertainment in the common spaces. And also i thought the pub crawl was kinda mediocre and commercial. It did not really match the vibe of the hostel. Not a big deal though, best hostel i’ve stayed at during my trip through Spain! The Room was great, no bunkbeds and only three other people in the dorm. This made making contact really easy. Somehow this hostel attracts people that are open to making new contact. I think the intimate common space contributes a lot.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful, they are the best. Overall, the hostel is clean, especially the shared area, you get a kitchen and a fridge to use, and free coffee and tea. The location is very strategic.

I took a last minute trip to Valencia from Madrid and had less than 24 hours. The gentleman checking me in was so hospitable and offered me a lot of advice in how to see the city in one day. I’d definitely stay again.

It's very well located but very expensive for what it has to offer. The beds are very simple, it's extremely noisy and I had not hot water during my stay. The staff however is kind and attentionate. It's okay for one , two nights maximum.

THE BEST hostel ever for all type of travelers and for solo travelers. They organize lots of activities including the free city tours and the pub crawls. You will easily make friends in Home Youth Hostel. The location is incredibly perfect. The staff is more than amazing. Special thanks to the lovely lady Alice for her help, advice and her beautiful soul. The hostel is so clean. The shower is good. I am grateful that I chose this hostel and I will definitely come back in this hostel.

Stayed in this hostel for 8 days, was a wonderful experience! The hostel is clean and well kept, All of the staff are so lovely! Would have been nice to be able to go out for a drink with paulo (the night guy) as we bonded that well, Alessio (the manager) was also super helpful had great recommendations and really insured that the groups were having the best time possible! Overall a very pleasant experience and when I return to valencia it will be an easy choice where to choose!

Very cool hostel in the old center ! Super super friendly staff and the rooms worth the prices ! I do recommend to go to the pub crawl not for the quality of the drinks provided but rather to meet people and for the ambiance !

I can only recommend this hostel. Especially the staff is super nice and helpful. I would especially like to thank Alessio for his effort to help me out when I had a problem with my traveldocuments. He literally ran for the mail man so I could fly back home. Hero of the day!! :) The hostel is very nice and cozy, has a decent common area and a well equipped kitchen. Everything was cleaned regularly, def no complains! Shower had really good water pressure, even on the 2nd floor :) The location is really nice as well, very central but still in a street that is not too loud or busy. The only thing I really didn't like was that we didn't have a real window to air out the room (the window was to the hallway). But that was okay, since we had a good working air conditioner.

I just want to start by saying this is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I will not say that they have the best facilities but I will say that the atmosphere is amazing. At the check-in we received great recommendations and a fun conversation. Within a few hours of arriving we were having amazing paella with interesting people from the hostel. The employees are genuine and they made everyone feel right at home. I could tell that they really love their job even after their shift ended they stayed and hung out. This is the first time for me in Valencia and the location of the hostel is ideal if you want to explore the city by foot. This hostel is for you if you are an open minded person that loves to meet amazing people from all walks of live. I have experienced some wonderful moment and I really am going to miss this place and the people that make it possible.

Cozy hostel in a sweet location right across from a beautiful old building. Pretty good location, not too far from the airport or the train station and basically right near city center. Never stayed in rooms with 3 regular beds in a hostel before, usually there are bunks, different but good different. Staff were friendly.

  • 4/5 Melissa R. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean, staff is friendly. I felt safe and loved the central location. IMPORTANT: the free-guided tour is not free. There is a mandatory tip of 5-10€. It should not be advertised as free and I did not find the tour worthwhile.

Had such a good time and would definitely book again. Everything was super clean, the staff was the nicest and it‘s very social and easy to meet people. Thank you ♥️

Super nice hostel incredibly located in the center of Valencia. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable, and the staff is super friendly. There’s a big internal patio so it can get super noisy during the day and to avoid too much noise at night you can not use the kitchen after 11. Nevertheless, I think that there are too few bathrooms.

Thank you! Even though I stayed only 1 night, I felt cozy and welcome, like at home. One of my favorite hostels I've ever seen! And amazing price/quality/service. Wonderful staff. Will definitely recommend to anyone going to Valencia!!

I had an excellent time at this place. The rooms are smaller and without bunks, which is excellent. Very social environment, with staff organising events and things to do most nights of the week.
