Possibly my favorite course I’ve played in Southern California. Worth every penny. Not only are there some spectacular holes (on the front 9 especially), but the course is pristine. Everyone who works there was super friendly, as well. It can be pretty challenging here and there, but nothing stultifying. A couple of my buddies loved it so much, they became members.

Everyone called this a resort course, but I’m Local and play here all the time. Had a great time here with my dad in town. They valet your car for free. The 1st hole has ocean views and chairs to lounge in and have a drink. All the employees are friendly and helpful, and the course plays not too difficult with a lot of fun. There’s a lot of sand, so just avoid that! The greens are fast but definitely not too fast. They also have the latest nicest rental clubs. Not too hard to break 80 and get in the 70s if you are a 10 or less handicap. Pace of play was right on track as well. Top 3 Orange County golf course for sure!

I am a beginner golfer. My sister took me this nice golf course. It was awesome fairway and bunker is everywhere and so deep. Lol. The ocean view was beautiful. I couldn’t even enjoyed well because I was so embarrassed my horrible shot that day however wish I can go again soon as I can.

Great experience, I took my dad for his 70th birthday and we both loved it. For a resort course it was what’d expected off the tee (pretty open other than some bunkers) but the greens are not easy especially if you come across the pin positions like we did today. They were really soft, but even so there is a lot of undulation and if you leave your approach shot in the wrong spot scores can go up quickly. Great service from bay drop, to pro shop to on course the food options. They have a great option to order food from the 9th hole so it’s ready at the turn. There are a couple holes on the front where you get a great view of the water, so recommend playing in eve afternoon if you’re wanting to make sure to catch since it hasn’t been clearing up until later in the day. I only thing that was a bit disappointing was the area to hit balls before the round. There’s only 4 stalls they had open hitting into a net. For the price, and resort I’d expect more but I’d still highly recommend the course if in the area. The GPS was also a huge plus as it measured to the pin and showed a lot of detail such as which way the greens sloped.

A few beautiful golf holes in the heart of coastal south Orange County. The layout is a resort course so there are some funky holes as well (back to back par 3’s for example. It was also about the half the price a few years ago but yea, post pandemic pricing is where we’re at. The bar across from the pro shop is a great place for a post round drink with the group.

Thank you Monarch and Team Kids for another great event ( Yes this review is late, just got the invite for the this years and looking forward to it and had to share what a great time I had ) talk vibes! The atmosphere is pure laid-back goodness. The panoramic views of the ocean stretching to the horizon are an instant soul-soother. The gentle sea breeze and the sound of crashing waves create an idyllic setting that sets the tone for an enjoyable round of golf. Mother Nature herself is like a playful buddy, sometimes lending a helping hand and other times throwing a cheeky curveball at your ball. (talking about the wind) Everyone is friendly, approachable, and genuinely passionate about golf and made us feel right at home. Loved it and looking forward to going back

Tucked away between the Monarch Beach Resort and Coast and surrounded by an upscale community. Staff could not be more helpful and professional. They run specials so look for discounts on rounds of golf. Course was in good shape. Fast greens. But no driving range - only a small mat / net set-up - with putt area. GPS on our carts took a while to kick in. Front 9 was tight and back more open and rolling. Top handicap hole is designated as such for a good reason! The nearby restaurant provided great service especially since we were there close to closing time. All in all a really enjoyable round for our foursome.
