This is a beautiful establishment nestled in a Japanese garden near Tokyo Tower. The food is healthy, delicious and elegantly presented (I particularly like the tofu simmered in soup, it was so rich in flavour). The service is impeccable. This is absolutely one of the best restaurants we visited in our trip and we would definitely return. Worth every penny!

Absolutely amazing dinner experience. The buildings at the foot of Tokyo Tower are a step back into time. The food is brilliant. Personal favourites included the deep-fried tofu with miso, the deep-fried eggplant wit hsesame sauce and the tofu in warm konbu soup. As you may have guessed, each of the Ukai restaurants has an ingredient theme. For this one, you will want make sure you like tofu before booking :-) If you do, it's culinary heaven. Also, be aware that set menu prices start at 15.000 yen. That's a fair bit, but I've had more expensive dining experienes that weren't half as good.
