Loved everything about Sorrento In, the moment you sit down you don't feel like you're in Norbury it has such a nice vibe and atmosphere it's also very cosy. I really liked that the pizza making was on show for the guests to watch as it was really intriguing and impressive to see how the pizza chef kneaded and roll out the dough by hand. The food tasted good, especially enjoyed the bruchetta so I do recommend that. It wasn't too expensive because if I was in Central London I would be paying for a lot more. It was worth it because it was a nice experience, I would definitely go back.

The best Italian in London so far so good! Since we moved out away from London but every year we visited them to dine-in and how we missed their food. Staff are friendly, the chef were amazing showing off his skills of doing the dough pizza making. We loved their pizza so much and the tiramiso for dessert. We visited back again last weekend and the fruti d mare spaghetti seafood were so yummy! Best recommended and my husband had a Salsiccia e Friarielli pizza. He said the best pizza ever he had in his life. Well done guys! We missed you but will come back again. Thank you and best recommended so far!

First time around Croydon and found this little gem. The best pizza I've ever had outside of Italy! Staff were amazing and the chef was outstanding. Would 100% recommend this.

I ordered a takeaway, the pizza arrived in less than 20 minutes and was yummy ... I will gladly order next time ... If you are passing through, or live nearby, try this pizza either with a white base (as shown in the menu) or with tomato (which I love) I highly recommend

Valentino is the best Maestro della Pizza in Uk and to be honest he does a better job than many others in Italy too. I’m a pizza making passionate and he always gives me tips on how to improve my skills and results. Grazie Vale sei il numero 1! Baciamo le mani

If you are after authentic Italian food Sorrento is the real deal. It's a delight to watch the pizza dough being stretched by expertly spinning it in the air, landing it on a floured board, assembling the various toppings and then placing it in the wood fired traditional pizza oven. There are so many other good things on the menu but the four of us had bruschetta to start, pizzas, a bottle of house red, soft drinks and coffees, (2 with Zambucca). All for £30 each. Best of its kind for miles around.

I love these guys and the pizza is my favourite in London. A proper pizza, with good dough, amazing crust, and lovely tomato sauce (which is one of the hardest things to find in London). I haven't actually tried the other dishes, but judging by the quality of the pizza, I'm sure the rest is good too. I missed their pizzas when I was in Italy, it's that good!

Ordered the Prosciutto e funghi pizza which was a good size, tasty and crispy. Then ordered the Pacchero Nonna Maria which was also delicious, pasta was cooked nicely and the meatballs were tasty. Staff were very friendly and the place had a nice calm atmosphere at lunchtime

Honestly the best pizza in South London, maybe even London!! I love the Parma and we can’t resist ordering the Tiramisu- it is so creamy and the absolute best! They are also super quick when we collect and always friendly!!

Fabulous small Pizzeria / Trattoria! We dined last night amongst the Mothers Day hype but the experience was excellent from a small family owned and run traditional restaurant. The food is all freshly prepared and the staff are very very friendly and kind - it’s clear to see locals and regulars love this place and it’s very clean and tidy. Everything you would expect and beyond. The food is pretty much second to none and you won’t find anything better for many miles! Highly recommended and will definitely be back soon! If there is a good pizza to be had…it has to be here!

Little piece of Italy in Norbury, have ordered pizza from here several times. Decided to visit in person this time and was not disappointed. Delicious food and ambience, place is decorated with lots of Italian touches and clear view of the pizza oven from your seat.

Eaten here twice now this place does amazing food honestly was so pleasantly surprised at the level of food quality! I can honestly say I travelled to Florence, Rome, Venice and never tasted a pizza or pasta that was amazing who would think in Norbury there is a a quality Italian restaurant. 👌🏼❤️

What a wonderful little place in Norbury. Food was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly. They had some ambiance music and the atmosphere was extremely comfy. This place went straight into my top 3 of Italian restaurants. I'll definitely come back!

Had a take out on the 06/03/24 ordered two pizzas come to £31.90 works out £15.95 for each pizza so quite top end in prices for a pizza so you would be expecting top authentic produce on the pizza and the base top notch How I was wrong the base was either old pizza dough or was just a poor recipe either way it was poor the toppings where very poor , would expect freshly sliced discs of mozzarella not cheap ready grated mozzarella out of a bag , i would expect fresh spinach on my pizza not tinned or frozen spinach , the Italian sausage tasted like some cheap sausage from the supermarket the quality was poor and came across in taste in all was very disappointing and it’s fair to say I’ll never go back there again shame as would be nice to support our local restaurants through these bad times

I don't think that is my first review for Sorrento In 😄😄. Been here many times, with different people at different times of the day. As I know the restaurant for years, I must say that it slightly dusted its sparkle. The food is still very tasty and fresh, however the service becomed too commercial. When at the beginning was more friendly, Italian style to say. Despite the ups and downs, Sorrento is my go to for a local delicios Calzone 👍👍. Last time I've tried the Tuna Pizza for a change. I loved it and I wasn't hungry 🙈. Definitely a go to place for a dinner in Norbury. 👍

Poor pizzas, went a second time to make sure my first time wasn't just a one off. Flavourless tomato sauce and ingredients, chewy bread. Would have expected much better of a so called typical Italian restaurant.

Decided to try it out as majority of reviews were positive but For 20.00 the pizza was very disappointing. Bread was tough to chew and the toppings all would slide off the pizza, leaving you with a tomatoe paste. The chocolate/almond brownie for 6.00 came in crumbs in a plastic container, didn't taste great.🤷‍♂️😒 Maybe food is better quality when eating in the restaurant instead of take away....but that shouldn't make a difference. I advice you to just make your pizza at home.

Ordered two prawn pasta dishes on Deliveroo. Very basic pasta shapes in tomato sauce. As for the prawns - got just 3 each with barely any flesh, mostly head and just stirred into the sauce so you have to pick the antennae from between your teeth, not worth the trouble.

Absolutely amazing food. Great service, very welcoming staff, very good prices and amazing atmosphere. A little slice of Italy in Norbury. Will definitely come back.
