Great food here! So tasty, we had the sharing plate, with different meat options. Even me GF, I was able to have plenty of choices. Staff were very friendly and professional. The place is ideal for children, with a cinema room and different areas. Very big and cozy at the same time! We will come back definitely!

An amazing experience. I had the "BBQ Blowout platter" Thursday special. It was absolutely amazing! With fried chicken, skin-on fries, pulled pork, buffalo wings and seasoned brisket, and a side of coleslaw and garlic mayo, it was a filling meal. Wait-staff were brilliant and friendly. A GREAT experience. Highly recommended.

Went as party of six on a weekday night at 5:30 (so quite early) for daughter's birthday. This place has some great themed decor inside. The staff are amazingly polite and attentive and made loads of fuss of her for her birthday, which she loved! The food... Oh yes it is amazing. A carnivore's delight. I had the platter for one and the brisket and ribs just melted. The amount of food was just about right - I didn't have room for a pudding but that's no big deal for me. Others also really enjoyed their mains. Dessert was also great with my son having the waffles. The only niggle of the evening wasn't really the restaurant's fault and will make me sound a bit grumpy... I cannot stand it when parents just let their kids run riot in restaurants, no matter if they are family friendly. Because of when we ate, the place was full of kids who were constantly in and out of some doors to the outside that backed onto the bench that we sat at such that the doors were slamming into us pretty much every minute for first half hour or so. Luckily it calmed down and I don't think the kids really noticed this... Just my old-fashioned ways and, had it not been for this, would have awarded 5*. Would definitely come again but later on when the kids are in bed!

We were served by Martha she was bubbly, went above and beyond and just all around amazing. we came in for a birthday celebration where we were welcomed by Dan who did a cocktail master class which was amazing and the customer service from all staff was lovely!!

Amazing night had by all here. I saw a review online and decided to try it out, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The service was brilliant from entering and the food was great. The whole experience was brilliant and we will be back.... thank you 😀

Totally LOVED this place! The atmosphere, looks of the place, kindness of the staff, menu, food quality and quantity, all straight perfect! I pushed my luck by going without reservation. Parking lot was completely full and place looked packed but luckily they still had a table in the bar section where I got served without any problems. Ideal place for both families and solo (business) travelers like me. Nobody will look weird at you for opening your laptop at the table. Loved it. Their WiFi requires complicated logging in to social media and giving scary consents. Avoided using it. Pity that they have set it up this way. Only negative point, if I have to mention something, would be that they add tip for themselves to the bill already without asking or informing. That doesn't feel right. Luckily the service was good enough to deserve a tip, but already assuming it is inappropriate. Response to the owner response: I have read the standard reply on the tipping with other reviews already. You know it WILL be awkward to ask for it to be removed anyway, especially because you're tossing in some charity. I still think it's inappropriate to handle this way, regardless of the story you provide with it.

We came here on Saturday night and although it was busy the staff were ran like a well oiled machine! They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience the very best. I didn’t catch the managers or staff that served us by name but they were great and it really made our experience even better. The food is unbelievable and definitely worth the price. Can’t wait to come back and try something different on the menu!

Really amazing place, food was great service was great too, very busy place. The one thing I was a bit frustrated at was the £4.70 top they charge me without telling us until it was too late.

Came here tonight to celebrate getting a new job! Superstar luke and liss were amazing. Superb food as per usual and they even brought out a treat to say congratulations. Love this place ❤️❤️

Was really disappointed by the quality of food compared to what was expected. Had to try the platter to get a taste of their barbecue and everything on the plate was sup-par. Thought I would get the french toast to try & save it but this too was very disappointing. Menu is quite extensive but have already been put off returning. This one really had me questioning where these ratings are coming from.

I don't write many reviews but Hickory's is just outstanding.. The staff are amazing and friendly, we were a table of 8 and they were very patient with us. The food was fantastic, better than Reds true BBQ (when it used to be good, that is) I will definitely be going back, thanks for having our secret Santa party 🎅 🧑‍🎄 🤶

I had a fantastic experience at Hickory's! The food and drinks were outstanding, the ambiance was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. My only suggestion would be to reconsider allowing dogs inside, as we had a chilly day and our food cooled down quickly. It would be great if they could create a small designated dog-friendly area indoors for those unpredictable weather cold and rainy days.

My son eats here regularly and took me and my daughter there. I had ribs and totties followed by sweet Texan pie, both fabulous. Root beer was good too. My daughter is vegan and the burger she had was so tasty. Staff were quietly attentive and very helpful. It's was clean and toilets were equipped with much more than expected. Definitely would recommend.

Had a great time here, lovely welcoming atmosphere all round the establishment that really pulls you in. The staff were so friendly and had good recommendations for what to pick on our first time eating there. Plenty on the menu to choose from, we had the BBQ pulled pork and my partner had the steak which was huge! All beautifully cooked and delicious, followed by the chocolate brownie dessert. Highly recommended!

I ordered the bacon muffin with the tots. It was really good, a decent sized portion as well. I really like the tots but for me they are just a tad bit on the spicy side. I also ordered rhe blueberry and maple smoothie type drink. It was interesting, if you don't mind drinking maple then I would recommend it. I would say there was too much ice in it so order without! My partner ordered steak and eggs. The steak was supposed to be rare. It came out medium to well. We sent it back and I think the manager came over to apologise with was all fine. The issue was that the re-cooking of the steak took way too long and it still wasn't to his liking but by this point he just accepted it because I had already finished my meal and my 1 year old was getting bored. There was also a lack of flavour in the steak. I would recommend coming here as we have been here before and had no issues. I just probably wouldn't recommend getting the steak if you are quite particular with the way it is cooked.
