This is one of the best saunas around! Definitely the best in Belgium and new additions are coming! The evening rates are great and they start from 6pm. Usually at the start of the week it's very quiet in the evenings, so if you're a bit shy that's the best moment to go. The weekends are always packed, so if you don't like squeezing in between naked people for a seat at a steam session you shouldn't go. The restaurant service and personnel at the restaurant are amazing. The preparation of the dishes are great! Even the more complex dishes are really well done and you get a lot of food! I go there every week! You can count on the food and the cocktails!

Large and well maintained sauna complex. 3 of the 7 sauna's are spread across the large but secluded garden with several pools and lots of space to relax. Food and drinks are very tasty as well. Given the context of course not the cheapest but well worth the money. Easy to spend a whole day of relaxation here.

Had a very soothing day here. I was totally relaxed. Staff here is super friendly and they will help you, guide you and make your stay enjoyable. I loved the many many types of sauna, hamams, swimming pools and very ample space to lay around or rest inside. The only negative here was the food. It was plain bland and over cooked, but it was strangely very well plated. So my guess is the cooks either gave up on making good food or, more likely, they have to work with pre-cooked ingredients/food out of a jar. Either way, it was not what I expected at all and it stood out in what otherwise was a really enjoyable day. If not I would've definitely given it a five * review!

katara is a really clean place and very relaxing.. In winter time walking to another bath you need to walk outside which is pretty cold ;-) one might claim this is good for the blood flow ;-)

Had a fantastic day here, beautiful sauna. I was impressed by the amount of facilities they had and how nicely spread out they were ao you never felt like it was too busy. We did visit during a weekday when I expect it is generally much quieter. The staff were super friendly and gave a good explanation of the place. Will definitely be back soon!

Very big sauna, you can spend half a day just going in and out of the different sauna's. They also do steam sessions. The kitchen is always up to date with the actual season. Its not cheap, but it sure is worth it. 5 /5

Fantastic experience. Multiple unique sauna designs. My favourites were the Midsommar and the Beehive sauna. Sadly 2 of the smaller Hamam’s were closed but there were 2 others so it was not an issue. Plenty of jacuzzi’s to choose from as well. Food and drinks were great, as well as the super speedy and friendly service. Definitely recommend!

Excellent. Exquisite. Great quality. Sunday morning + afternoon- lots of ppl, but doesn't feel crowded or jammed in any way. Very relaxing. Very clean. We didnt even manage to do all the saunas in almost six hours. Food is soooo goooood! For an adequate price. Lived every bit of this day 😍 (If i had to mention one thing that could be better - is massage. It was not bad, but felt a little generic. Still done with care. Thank you so much!)

Loistavat puitteet rentoutumiseen. Ilmaiset "rituaalit" hyviä, sekä lisämaksullinen "scrub" jätti ihon todella ihanaksi! Suosittelen😊 Myös ilmainen pysäköinti!

Interesting experience. Did not know initially what to expect until we actually reached the place. With a long range of hours, enough and varied saunas, hot tubs, events and extra facilities, this is a great place to relax, especially in a couple. I highly recommend it at least once. Tip: food is great; bring own towels and robes if you want

One of the most beautiful and relaxed wellness experiences you can get in Belgium. Food is good as well, personnel is friendly and they've frequent actions that potentially save you some money. Their aufguss are on par as well so I wholeheartedly recommend this for a great day away from the grind.

Big complex, very clean. But way too busy, in my opinion, it was quite hard to relax. The infusion sessions were not spectacular. In one sessions we were crammed in a sauna like sardines in a can. Near closing time, a couple of facilities (like Turkish bath) were not functioning like they should. The food was good, just a shame that the staff were quite hasty. This resulted in some mishaps. It felt more like we had dinner in a canteen than in a restaurant. Make sure that you can easily identify your belongings (slippers, robe), as they can easily get lost.

Went to Katara for the 1st time today. Have to say it is probably the largest and nicest spa that I've ever been to. I only think it was inappropriate that they allow children from 8 years old. This is a textile-free spa and it is very unsettling and awkward that children are allowed to roam free. Not to mention not suitable for a relaxing spa. I think Katara should strictly be for adults over 18. Moreover, as a young adult, I was harrassed from an older man at a textile-free spa in Germany. I personally would not risk that my children are also watched or harrassed by sick adults. Not everyone minds their own business.

The wellness is absolutely great! Some parts need a bit of paint, but overall it's a wonderful place to come and recover from the daily stress and grind. The facilities are clean, very enjoyable, and all functioning. HOWEVER the food is not OK. Way overpriced for its quality. Quantity over quality. Presentation is bulky, microwaved. Way below the standard this wellness is. Not really gonna talk about the service. We got our orders wrong a few time (a bread mix-up gluten/ non gluten twice!). If I'm going to pay 150e for 2 people, I expect a minimum of standing. It wasn't there, and that's not ok. Finally, my last point goes to the drinking water management. We are going to saunas and hammams, hot tubs and other very dehydrating places. THERE IS NO PROPER ACCESS TO DRINKING WATER. There is a small little fountain for the whole place (you know the once like in the American schools). There's only one! If you want to drink water then you must PAY 4,2€ for a bottled water. This is really not OK! There must be several access point to FREE water. @Katara team. We loved our experience, but please rise to your own standard.
