A well preserve working Mill. Interesting tour very informative. A great place to bring children, they can learn about were their food comes from. A lot to see. Nice cafe.

Very friendly staff. Nice view. Great exhibition of farming, the milk and a story about the former owner. A short movie representative of milling process it a short simulation of it would be really nice. Amusing and informative for children with lots of playing facilities. Also, there is a nice café where you can enjoy an afternoon meal. The breakfast menu also sounds really good! Free parking available. A normal ticket costs 2.5£.

Excellent museum very informative. As it was heritage day we got to go up to the stone floor which was excellent. Staff are knowledgeable and there is a lot for kids to do also

Went to check out the dog walking field, as it has been recommended. It's ok but there are plenty of other dog walking areas that offer the same or better. Didn't have chance to check out the mill itself or the restaurant, but they both looked promising.

One of the last working Mills in Yorkshire, rural life museum, cafe and picnic area. Sails have been removed for refurbishment. Definitely worth a visit.

A great mill, was looking forward to looking inside the museum, but it was closed due to staff shortage today, so will have to visit again at some point.

The mill looks amazing shame it is only opened weekends. Also a huge pity there is no information about the mill anywhere around to read only behind locked doors. Even an information leaflet in the window would have been nice. There is a café next to the mill which is lovely, excellent food, the sausage rolls were absolutely delicious 😋. The tea was nice too just a shame they don't give you enough water to have a 2nd cup.

Sunday lunch with a 95 year old father and 88 year old mother. Very slow servic. Tough beef. Missed our 2nd drinks order. Complained. Compensated with a free glass of cava sadly 2 of the party were driving. Only enough vegetables for 3 when there were 5 in the party. Offered to knock off the £2 surcharge for the beef untill asked if they could discount the bill by 1 of the beef meals. Such a pity as previously have had good meals and functions there.

A hidden gem in East Yorkshire! This museum provided a highly informative insight into historical East Riding life. There is a lot of things for children to entertain themselves with, which isn’t always available in other museums. Definitely worth a visit!

Refused to serve breakfast even though I tried to order before 11:30. Lady in charge was literally cooking a fry up for someone else just turned around a pulled a face amd said no. Been going for three years, bad service and manners is a great way to loose your customers!

Such a lovely windmill, sadly the sails had been taken off when I last visited, but still lovely to see. If you visit I highly recommend the coffee shop on the grounds of the windmill, lovely coffee and great staff too.

Very interesting to see how hard farming life was. It's a small mill so not very taxing to look round and a reasonable price. Nice café on site. Worth a visit.

This use to be a really nice place to eat but unfortunately not anymore. The customer service is poor and the quality of the food has declined. The last couple of times l visited it felt as if they were doing me a favour. Won't bother again.

I was surprised to find out such a nice place to visit. My son loved it, he played jigsaw and with wooden farm animals. We will go back for sure

Must congratulate all the people involved in putting together this thoroughly interesting museum. It was so informative with the information boards nicely ordered and easy to read. We particularly liked the little snipets of how some of our well known phrases which are still in common use today relate directly to these times of years gone by...social history at its most interesting! 5 stars easy.

An enjoyable visit on a wet day. Lots of displays inside about local farming and village life from days gone by. Small entrance fee but no limit on the amount of time you stay and look around. There are steps up into the windmill from the groundfloor museum area so bear that in mind if you're unable to do steps/stairs.

Love this mill was very interesting and the staff were very welcoming, especially loved the sayings that were founded by mill staff workers also there is a small wooden park next door which is excellent for kite flying and children to play

Although actual mill was closed, the Sails cafe was open and very welcoming. My mum, in her 90's, used to cycle past the mill every Sunday during the war, with her pal Edith, as many teenagers did, for a day trip to Hornsea Mere from Hull..about a 50 mile round trip? The mill would be working then so rather than visit..it was a special landmark on their journey and she had never seen it up close. P.s. the caramelised sausage rolls are fantastic!
