Arrived
at
hotel
around
9.30PM
to
check-in
and
we
were
told
there
was
an
issue
with
our
booking
reference,
we
had
to
wait
over
an
hour
in
reception
to
get
our
room.
The
hotel
gave
us
a
drink
each
and
1
bag
of
crisp
for
the
inconvenience.
The
complementary
water
station
in
reception
was
empty.
During
our
wait
very
little
updates
were
given
to
us
unless
we
went
and
asked
what
was
going
on
and
how
much
longer
was
the
wait.
We
were
given
room
625
which
smelt
very
bad
-
urine/smoke/stale
smell,
I
slept
on
top
of
the
duvet
with
a
towel
and
tried
to
keep
the
window
open
as
much
as
possible.
After
already
waiting
so
long
for
a
room
and
a
day
of
travelling
we
couldn't
be
bothered
to
ask
to
move.
The
hotel
was
very
busy
and
we
assumed
there
probably
wouldn't
be
another.
The
room
itself
was
very
very
basic.
No
safe,
no
menus
or
information
cards
and
no
kettle.
Only
thing
they
provide
is
towels
and
soap,
no
other
mini
toiletries.
The
soap
dispenser
was
empty
so
I
had
to
ring
reception
and
wait
to
be
able
to
shower.
Breakfast
was
ok.
My
partner
booked
this
on
the
basis
of
it
being
'hot
&
cold',
however
the
only
hot
food
on
there
was
bread
(for
toast)
and
the
coffee.
We
felt
this
hotel
was
quite
far
out
from
the
city
and
it
took
a
while
to
get
to
the
sights
we
wanted
to
see.
Would
not
recommend
this
hotel
for
a
quick
city
break
and
wouldn't
stay
here
again.
Staff
were
friendly.
