Always nice to cross this bridge walking, thinking about how wonderful it is to move freely between countries, without borders. Also it's fun to take a picture of your feet when crossing the (almost imaginary) border: There's a sign on the floor that shows you when you switch countries.

Lovely pedestrian friendly bridge over the river "Minho" with nice views from both sides (fortress "Valenca Fortaleza" in Portugal and old town of "Tui" in Spain). If you're on foot to Tui - take the pathway going down on your right which will let you walk all the way to Tui by the river side. There are several picknick tables and kids play area just before you get in to built up Area of "Tui".

This is a pretty cool bridge. It was great to be able to walk across it. After getting to my hotel, resting and changing, I was able to walk along the river and walk to the base of it.

Brilliant bridge crossing the border from Portugal to Spain. Drive carefully though, it's quite narrow and the girders make your eyes go a little funny 🙂

A wonderful 19th century metal bridge connecting 2 countries by rail, road and foot. Thank you to all amazing people that built it back a few centuries. How was it possible at that time. A piece of history that will delight us people for many more centuries. Hey you in 2290 reading this review, how is this heavy metal bridge doing today?
