Beautiful Beach and great beach access. Only a few minutes walk from where our condo was. Was not crowded at all, but I'm sure as it gets warmer that will change. You are only aloud digging one foot holes when you're kids are playing in the sand and you have to fill them back in before leaving.

Shipyard beach access is a very well maintained boardwalk style beach access, with restrooms and 4-5 outdoor showers available for rinsing off the sand. Convenient drop off spot, walkable overflow parking nearby, plus they run a shuttle to help during peak demand. However, parking is limited and very closely monitored, so make sure you have a pass to avoid the boot!

Nice dog friendly beach, though we are visiting in September after labor day. So check, because I do think there are dates when dogs are not allowed. I just hope that people keep it clean, and pick up after themselves.

For Shipyard only residents with a beach parking pass. Appreciate clean bathroom and rinse down stations at entrance to beach board walk. Lockers in the beach house for beach equipment. Always plenty of beach space at low tide.

Private access means we can park for our disabled child. Beautiful area with dolphins swimming through and pelicans diving into the water

Great beach, you can ride your bikes up and down the beach for miles.

It's beach access! Only fun times ahead! It's relatively clean, no loud obnoxious people to ruin the beach experience. The same is great for building stuff in the sand and lots of wildlife to experience if you go out deep enough... Just don't take the live ones with you! Enjoy!

Minimal handicapped parking. Not enough parking in general for the number of housing units. Overflow parking about a mile from beach. No shuttles. Beach area so crowded there was no room to walk. Easily over1000 people there. Will never stay here again.
