Amazing Grace Park, The Clementa Pinckney Memorial

Memorial park

👍👍 I was here attending a concert. It's a very beautiful place. Quite a few places to sit, although I wish there were more shaded areas. It got pretty hot. People often mention park,

The loss of a gentle leader is heartbreaking. He was an inspiration to so many. But the creation of this park pays tribute to a great man. Nestled between the house and museum building I restored decades ago then founded the Marion County Museum gives me great joy that he was honored in this way.

I walk my dog along the short path each night and play with the musical instruments. This place was built from a place of love and you can feel it! One of my favorite places in Marion!

A beautiful park . They have done a wonderful job when they did this. There are events here often or you can go to relax, let kids play or whatever. We enjoy it.

We love going and walking here when we are near. The landscaping and features are very nice for a small park. Great for small children up to adults. Musical instruments to enjoy, nice trail, beautiful flowers and trees.

Visit Amazing Grace Park is home to a museum, playground and pavillion dedicated to the memory of Reverend Sentator Clementa Pinckney. Reverend Senator Pinckney spent his childhood summers in Marion county and has strong family ties to the area which made it the appropriate location to place his memorial. The park features accessible seating areas and facilities surrounded by walking trails edged in native flowers and foliage.

Love Amazing Grace Park! There's just a peaceful atmosphere that surrounds me. I had a rather stressful Telehealth appointment so I chose to go sit in the park to talk to the doctor. Everything was so Serene...and all is well.

Would have given 5 stars. But I went for the dog park. No water fountain. A hose bib but no bowl. Poop bags dispenser empty. No shade. Need to put up sail cloth till trees grow. It's unfortunate, great attention to detail paid to the rest of the park.

I really enjoy walking here. My biggest question is how long is the path? I can't seem to find any information on that. Is the walking path 1/4 mile? More?
