For business reasons we had to meet in the lobby and later in the bar of this hotel. The service of the hotel staff was exceptional: in addition to what we ordered to drink during the meeting, the waitresses and especially the maître d'hôtel, did not fail to bring us appetizers and "tapas" of all kinds. I would like to highlight the cleanliness of the hotel and the beauty of its sumptuous lobby, with a marvellous stained glass ceiling. They have a Concierge service and the taxi they called to pick us up did not charge us extra for picking us up at the hotel. The building is located in an area with plenty of free parking spaces and at the very exit of the Metro Pio XII (L10 and L9), in the heart of the diplomatic district. We have once again selected the Don Pio Hotel as our meeting venue.

A very nice and inexpensive hotel approximately half way between the city centre and the airport. It has really nice rooms with wooden floors. The place exudes old fashioned attention to detail. Very clean. Lovely coffee made fresh for breakfast.

A very nice hotel next to Può XII metro station, in the heart of Chamartín. The rooms were very spacious and service was fast. Breakfast was good. Maybe it felt a little old and needed some little refurbishment here and there but the hotel keeps its charm anyway.

A bit old school place, do not expect modern style rooms, but all is where you expect it to be, the hotel and it's staff are friendly to dogs, room we had was specious and the breakfast one of the best I had in different Spanish hotels. Across the street is a very good supermarket and in walking distance good restaurants... check parking possibilities ... we had booked the hotels garage but it should be possible on the streets too (blue zone. Supermarket parking lot closed overnights ...) the metro station of line 9 is just across the street too. Well recommendable...

My favorite Hotel in Madrid. It's a Four Star Boutique Hotel, with very nice rooms, friendly ambiente, very good service and good breakfast. No real gym and no spa but for a very reasonable price. Recommended for business guests.

Lovely old style hotel that whole run down slightly still has a lovely charm. As with most places I've stayed in Madrid this hotel has wonderful smiling helpful staff, would recommend highly for business trips to the city!

The room I got was nice but... I can hear my room neighbor moving in the bathtub, breathing, talking to his spouse and making all sorts of noises as if he was in my room (in fact his bathroom is). Not a 4 star if this is the level you get - at least in my room.

A hotel that would represent the positive flair of 20th century at its best. Spacious rooms, clean bathroom with extra amenities such as disposable toothbrush, razor etc. Rooms haf comfortable bed, modern TV and minibar with good stock/options. Tea/coffee station was included in room price. Staff with solid English was attentive, professional and wearing a smile be it 4pm or when checking out at 4am. Located right next to Pio XII metro station.

This is a fantastic hotel. The reason for that statement, is that we have stayed a couple of times and are going back twice this month. All of the staff are lovely, and I think we have met everyone now. From the cleaners to the reception, bar, restaurant and chefs, they have always got a welcoming smile. The rooms are extremely comfortable and very well presented. Lounge and dining are comfortable too. Highly recommend staying in this
