My wife and I went here for our honeymoon and we are honestly pretty disappointed with the experience. I'll start with the good: The food was decent for the most part, but I would definitely say it's not 5 star quality. The one exception to that is Soy: amazing sushi and a great chef. Ray "of Sunshine", a resort manager, was excellent at making us feel special. One of our waitresses at Pitons was excellent too. The Bad: This place is far too pushy with soliciting add-on experiences. I don't want to walk through the resort trying to avoid contact with staff in case they ask us for the 3rd time that day if we signed up for an extra experience like a massage, photoshoot, or excursion. The beach is public, too, which we avoided after the first day due to aggressive solicitation by locals for excursions. We spent almost $5k for this experience ($7k if you include airfare), and the value of it does not add up. We will likely book a cruise next time for half the cost with far more value. What set me over the edge for writing this review was receiving an in-room phone call from the loyalty center asking if we had "booked our next vacation" yet after receiving a paper package with details on our room the day before and the door being left open by the staff that dropped it off. Way too pushy and off-putting. It's sad that this overtakes some of the good people who work here and made us feel special.

St Lucia is beautiful! We had a great time and the entertainment staff was fantastic! They played the super bowl with a ton of fun food for the event. Important tips that I would have loved to know: 1. Set an alarm for 6/6:30 am to reserve a pool chair otherwise you are out of luck! Seems really silly to have to do this and quite annoying. 2. Remember you are on island time so everything moves slower but just enjoy your time! 3. The excursions are very fun but best to choose by sea adventures as getting to any activity is over an hour drive on windy roads 4. If you get motion sickness St Lucia is not for you, the roads are so windy, up and down, and they are masterful but crazy drivers! 5. The food is not impressive would have liked to have a local food restaurant. 6. The drinks are definitely watered down Overall a great time, if you ask for anything everyone is happy to help! The room with walkout into the beach was so fantastic!

Beautiful location but an hour's drive from the airport. Gorgeous landscaping and luscious gardening on the resort. Scenery in and around the beach and pools are eclectic. Excellent service, hospitality among the staff. All are well trained. Great amenities and clean rooms. Tours/excursions are exquisite. Some restaurants are busier than others but the food was good at every establishment. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and would do it again at Sandals La Toc. Cal Hampton

What a gorgeous resort. Spectacular views. Beach a bit rough because of time of year and could only go in twice in 6 days. Golf course on site is 9 holes and leaves something to be desired but the CAP Estate Course is great if you can stand the hour transfer. Loved the cuisine as always and the atmosphere of all the restaurants is great. Would suggest a dining option though that was not sit down for after 5pm as the wood fired pizza place closes at 5pm. Close to town of Castries for off site excursions but again, anything more than that is about hour because of traffic. Typical Sandals for hospitality and friendliness. Would not recommend the butler service though as they seem overwhelmed. Could be the sheer size of the resort (very large) or the amount of guests they are responsible for. Regardless, the bang for the buck is not as good as we have experienced in the past. Still all in all, a five star experience and will go again.

It was a nice and unique vacation. The Butler service was AWESOME!! Great job done by Michael, Gem, and Clovis. It took us a while to get used to having them a phone call away for.... whatever, and also, them seeing us walking around with souvenir purchases and offering to take the bags back to the room while we walked around enjoying the resort. They were happy to help in making our vacation enjoyable and memorable. The private pool was great just outside the patio doors. The food was great, especially Kimonos along with the great Hibachi chef there. The service we experienced at a couple of restaurants was somewhat lacking at times, but you can have that at any place. Overall it was a very quiet and relaxing stay at the resort. I can't express how enjoyable the butler service made this a memorable vacation. We did an excursion and tour guides were also very nice and friendly.

We had not had a vacation in a very long time and we were so happy to get away but we’re pretty disappointed. We booked a more expensive room than the standard room and it looked nothing at all like the pictures. It was so small that we could barely move around without bumping into each other. The bathtub was completely stained and the room and furnishings were very dated. We paid for an ocean view room and were put on the very end with not much of a view at all. The all inclusive part was nice but the food was not that great. All meals were very rushed so that they can move people in and out of the restaurants very quickly. Another thing was that we were constantly being asked if we could be photographed, it became extremely annoying and very uncomfortable. Needless to say we had higher expectations. I would not suggest this resort. It was our first time at a Sandals and unfortunately I don’t think we will be back. The one great thing about the resort was the staff! They are absolutely amazing.

We booked the Emerald Oceanfront - BL (our room was basically the one in the picture on the website). I would recommend these rooms if you want to be near the hub of the resort activity. They are not right next to the pool, so they are quite than some of the other rooms in the main building. That being said, if there were a night or two where the evenings entertainment was still quite loud until 10:30pm, so if you plan to go to bed earlier consider a room on the bluff. The rooms were in line with what I expected. These aren't high end luxury accommodations, but they are quite adequate and we didn't spend much time in our room. We enjoyed the food at the restaurants, but found them to be generally understaffed. This was not an issue once we figured out the rhythm of the dining service. St. Lucia is a wealthier Caribbean Island, so you can't expect to get the same bang for your buck as in some other island countries. However, we always felt safe traveling the island, which I cannot say for some others we have visited. Our housekeeper, Macrina, was fabulous and demonstrated genuine care for us during our stay. Other staff members were friendly as well. I have no regrets and would do it again given another chance.

We chose the Regency La Toc resort for our honeymoon getaway. To say it was a horrible experience would be an understatement. The day that we arrived we noticed that our sink and phone were both broken and required maintenance and IT to fix them back to working order. We booked the rekindle romance package through the resort and had to chase down several sales representatives to figure out how to book our excursions. When we went for our photo shoot we called for a ride to Armando’s restaurant and waited over a half hour before giving up on the ride. When we got to the photo shoot we waited a half hour for our photographer and he never showed up. Thankfully another photographer was kind enough to take our photos but by that time it was dark. Several times during the week we noticed that every chair in the pool areas was reserved before 9 AM. When we arrived on Sunday at 8:30 AM, all the chairs were reserved. We sat at one and waited over and hour and then were kicked out by the butlers. It is clear that this resort was designed only for those that pay for the butler. There have been several occasions where the staff have been unpleasant. 5 out of the 7 days we spent on the resort, several restaurants were closed. Overall I am very disappointed with the experience we’ve received for a substantial amount of money and for a time in our lives that was supposed to be special. If I could’ve left early and gotten a refund I would have done so.

This is a great location if you just want to stay on the resort. All of our off site excursions were canceled because got needed at least 4 people and it was only my husband and I. Don't waste your money getting the butler service because the butlers have 8 other guest to attend to. We waited so long for our butlers to pick us up that the shuttle driver told us to just get in because he had circled and came back and we were still waiting. Then another time we waited and they took so long we just started walking and once we saw the butler he stated his cart broke down. (But he never called to state that) on the cell phones they give you. When you call room service be prepared to stay on hold for an hour, then another hour to get cold food. The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and it's a peaceful place. It appears to be more for the older crowd. And they don't have many fruits. Like no strawberries, no grapes, no pineapples other than what they place on your drinks. It just seemed like the resort is under staffed or really need time management training. If you like fun and fruits and off site excursions, go to montego Bay. That sandals was 👌 awesome.

My husband and I just came back from our anniversary trip to St. Lucia. Sandals La Toc did not disappoint! Our beach view suite with a private pool was so relaxing. We also had a butler service which was so nice! The people were so kind. The food was great, and the mountainous country was beautiful. We also did some hiking and snorkeling. I would definitely recommend this trip!

We spent our honeymoon here and everything was absolutely perfect. Andrew and Barkus were top notch butlers and anticipated our every need. They frequently surprised us at the beach with creative cocktails, brought us snacks and lunch, and even arranged a few romantic surprises. Each restaurant was absolutely delicious and the menus were fresh and creative. Highlights were the sushi bar and the private candlelit dinner on the beach. The location, carved out of the mountains, is breathtaking and just a short drive from the airport. This resort is a can't miss experience!

I loved our trip to Sandals Regency La Toc! We were there for 7 nights in March 2022 and had a wonderful experience. We eloped, so we had a couple only wedding and the Wedding Department made our experience so enjoyable! Dala was our coordinator, and she was such a sweetheart. They really made us feel special during our stay. We have been to a Sandals before, but this time we chose a Butler Level room which was a first for us. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it was so worth it! Roger, Ficus, and Jesse James were our 3 Butlers and they were all fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about them. What a team. They were quick to respond, very friendly, and always there when we needed them. The resort, overall, was beautiful. I do think the rooms could use some upgrading, but honestly our stay was so great I couldn’t take a star away for that. The food and drinks were fantastic. I highly recommend the candlelight dinner on the beach. It cost an extra $200 but WOW - the meal and the ambiance were incredible.

Sandals La Toc exceed our expectations in every way. From the amazing food, amenities and more so because of the amazing staff, specifically one of the managers Tricia Hayes. She honestly made our experience at the hotel. After a mishap with our transfers upon our arrival, Tricia went over and beyond to make it up to us. She ensured that we felt at home at La Toc and constantly checked up on us throughout our stay to make sure that we were having the best experience possible. She personally escorted us around the hotel and gave us the best advice regarding what to do on the island and because of this we had the best trip we could imagine. She treated us like family with her warm, charismatic and bubbly personality. This kind of treatment is something that I have never experienced from any staff at any other hotels that I have visited in my life, so that goes to show how truly special Tricia was and is. Because of this we will definitely be returning to Sandals La Toc! This is by far the best hotel to stay at St Lucia!!

Our first Sandals experience and it was great. Room overlooking the bay was so relaxing (our plunge pool was a little cool). First time using a Butler service and it was worth it. Love the island just don't love the travel from the airport to the resort.

Loved our visit to Sandals Regency La Toc. The staff was amazing, helpful, and friendly. The rooms were great, could have used a little updating as well as some places to hang wet swimsuits. The beach was beautiful but beware of the vendors who can be a little annoying. The included snorkel excusion was average but still worth doing. The night time entertainment was fun. We enjoyed all the restaurants at La Toc, make sure to try them all.

Currently on property. Booked stay for anniversary. Communication at this resort is non existent. My wife loves walking, so after we were ok with walking everywhere. When I say the service was 2 stars, that is not to reflect on the staff, GREAT, FRIENDLY, PEOPLE. My complaint is I felt we became invisible as far as management is concerned. Given a map, and a hand shake and turned loose. After reading some of the other reviews, we were treated great. We have stayed at several Sandals on Jamaica, and were happier with the experience at those resorts. Overall I would would only recommend La Toc if you wanted to claim that you stayed there before Sandals closed it. I suppose that return business is not their concern nor is it in my plans.

Coming to La Toc was an experience I will never forget. The staff here were so amazing and friendly. In all honesty probably the nicest people iv ever met. The service was outstanding and the butlers we had, we will never forget! The resort was absolutely beautiful as well. I most definitely will return and would recommend La Toc to many!

My husband and I have been to many Sandals locations. We just got back from Sandals Regency LaToc last night. First of all…Saint Lucia is absolutely gorgeous! Don’t think that we have seen a prettier Island. This was our “free” trip, and paid extra for the butler room for the conveniences that are normally offered. We usually book Butler rooms for the convenience of them taking care of the chairs at the main pools and the ability to get reservations in the restaurants. Upon our arrival we were informed that the butlers were not allowed to save chairs at the main pool, and that we could not get priority seating at the “first come, first served restaurants. (as we have at the other Sandals resorts with the butler service). Our Butler team was not remotely close to our past experiences. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed. The room’s definitely need some updating. In addition, this room was not nearly as clean as all of the other rooms at all of the other Sandals locations we have been to.

Went to Sandals La Toc Regency in November for wedding anniversary. I did see previous reviews, some negative. For us from the arrival at hotel to departure, everything and everyone we encountered, was fantastic! Yes rooms can be updated a bit, but it was clean, staff were friendly and warm. The overall experience with dinning was great for us. We mainly liked the Pavilion for the buffet and options. The Piton Restaurant and Neptune were our other choices. We really loved the staff and how they generally greeted us with smiles; for our stay, we were really happy and felt welcomed and valued. No amount of money can buy that level of hospitality. That's what made our stay worthwhile. Thank you

My experience was excellent during our anniversary celebration. The resort was amazing, the staff were attentive, supportive and our room was cared for daily. The restaurant options were amazing, food options and cooked with care. I truly loved my stay at Scandals and plan to book again.

My wife and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Honeymoon Hideaway Village with butler service. The rooms were in good condition and kept clean throughout our stay. Allow the shared spaces were clean and looked nice as well. We ate at each of the onsite restaurants, and all of them were very good. The water and beach at the resort were beautiful, and the main swimming pool and swim up bar were nice. You have to get down early if you want a chair and umbrella, but we were able to utilize our butler service to hold these for us when we wanted one for the day. The butler service was fantastic. From handling our baggage and driving us around to making dinner reservations and reserving a spot by the pool, it made our stay so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, we were very pleased with the resort and our stay there!

Overall awesome experience! The excursions are awesome the food is awesome tha drinks are awesome and the staff is awesome! The Spa staff is excellent and ensured I had a good experience for my first massage! We did the Love and trust massage where they teach you how to message your partner. It was an awesome experience. Only down side if you call it that is that what is said on their website and app is not always true at the resort. The website and app say you can make dinner reservations when you get to the resort but when we got here, we were told we needed to book reservations before arrival. But there is no instructions on how to do that online. For golf online it says schedule a tee time and let the front desk know what time so that they can ensure transportation to the course. When you get the the resort the golf shuttle only leaves at 0700 and goes to the three resorts and will only return once all parties are done golfing. This I feel like is the most annoying as a planned day could now be ruined. Like I said overall 5/5 they just need to update either the resort policies to match what is online or change what is online. We will be back!

We stayed just under a week with a butler level room. While there was a small mix up on an appointment, they made it right. The views were beautiful, the food was good, and everyone was extremely courteous. The water was a bit rough a few days, but it was truly an enjoyable place to stay. If you're going, hire the private driver and butler. Totally worth it.

My husband and I just returned from our vacation at Sandals Regency La Toc and we were so impressed with the resort, staff, and overall experience. The resort is beautiful, we enjoyed the large pools and swim-up bars, as well as easy access to the beach. When we arrived, we received a complimentary room upgrade to a Sandals Club Room. This included room service, a stocked mini-bar, as well as walk-out access to the pool. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The staff at the resort were very accommodating and warm. Whether it was staff at the restaurants, around the pool areas, or at Club Sandals, everyone was very polite and eager to help. Sameera at Club Sandals was very helpful, she set up our dinner reservations as soon as we arrived. We also rented a cabana one day and had Nate as our butler. He was a great butler, making sure we had plenty of food and drinks throughout the day (and even a surprise dessert!). The food at the resort was amazing and cooked perfectly. We especially enjoyed Kimonos and Armando's. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

We went for our 10 year Anniversary! This resort has a beautiful view and all of the employees were wonderful. We had a Butler Club 2 story Level room and I highly recommend it. We had three butlers that worked together during our stay, and I will say, they were excellent and helpful for our first time at a Sandals Resort. We enjoyed just relaxing by the pool, beach, and on our Veranda in our suite. The rooms were a little bit dated but far from "run-down". Could use some updating in places, but it was clean and comfortable.

Needs updating! Issues with rooms but thanks to Jacintha was all sorted.staff amazing always smiling. Long wait for food at Neptune restaurant. Only my opinion but more than 1 needed at swim up bar! Overall a lovely holiday was a few issues but great venue for weddings and great location. Had a fantastic time!!

This is one of our favorite Sandals resorts. Loved the waves and the beach. The staff are spectacular, always saying good morning or hello. The resort is beautiful how it sits on the hill side. We loved the different areas to hang out as there was always something different to do. Going back soon!

This was our first time using sandals to book a romantic getaway. And I assure you we have no regrets. This was the most beautiful resort we had been to. We had the butler suite and when I tell you our Butler's we're amazing! That's an understatement. We had three butlers that were absolutely awesome! If we wanted pizza at 3:00 a.m. we got it, my fiance wanted a bottle of Remy. They went and got it for him. Just absolutely amazing. The restaurants and staff at this resort were just beyond words can actually describe. I highly recommend this resort. We have booked again for December of 2023. That's how much we enjoyed ourselves. The views and the videos provide to explain just the tranquility of this place.

We got married and had a party of 20 who all came out for our special day. It was our first time at an all inclusive as well as half of our guests who attended. Everyone had an absolute blast! From the excursions, to the poolside/beach, to the restaurants, to the staff putting up with a pretty outgoing group, everything was fantastic. Big shout out to the team that pieces the wedding together. Everything went better than we could have ever imagined. The communication from when we began the planning process all the way up to the wedding day was very impressive. It's easy to see that this is not a simple job. I can't say enough how much we appreciated their attention to detail and it's easy to see how much the people running the show care about what they do. Thank you to everyone! We will be back again one day! Shout out to DJ Shrimp! The man brings the energy to everything he does!

We stayed here for a group birthday party. Everything was really great. The rooms were nice, the grounds were maintained, the pools were great. The beach is a little rocky. The only thing that I feel could use significant improvement is the service staff. There were some staff members who were really outgoing, and wanted to ensure you had a great experience, but the majority of the staff were average. Overall, I would absolutely go back. It was a great trip!

We stayed in June and what a gorgeous location with fantastic staff on hand to help. Always said good morning and hello every time you walked past. The restaurants are brilliant, the food is gorgeous and even had the privilege to meet some of the chefs in the pitons and our beach dinner. The room was cleaned everyday and the resort was spotless, evening entertainment was great and the barstaff know their cocktails. Fantastic resort, fantastic staff and if I could give it more stars I would. I can't remember theirs names but the Indonesian guy in the sushi restaurant and our head chef for the beach dinner are brilliant. Lots of love, Craig

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sandals Regency La Toc. The resort is beautiful, the food was good, and most of the staff was very friendly and helpful! We booked a Pitons Oceanview room with a balcony and the view from the room was absolutely gorgeous. We met a lot of great workers who greeted us with a smile and gave us great service. Our favorite place for food was Soy Sushi - it was amazing! The Pitons restaurant had the best service - not that others were bad but they were friendly and attentive making sure we had everything we needed. The only real complaint we have was that the mattress in our room was terrible. Any time we moved, the springs would "pop", we could feel some of the springs while we were laying in the bed, and there were "dips" in the mattress. The springs would even "pop" just after we got out of the bed, too. We didn't sleep very well because of the uncomfortable mattress. Some things to note about the resort, not complaints but just notes that may help others: The rooms are by no means soundproof. We could hear our "neighbors" move around in their room, and we could hear people in their rooms as we walked by. The resort is near the cruise ship port. You get to see a lot of ships coming in which we enjoyed, but they also blow their horns when they leave. It didn't bother us, but it may bother some. Overall we would definitely recommend Sandals Regency La Toc!
