Classic ice cream place in Long Branch (and a few other locations). Their (soft) vanilla is heavenly and not too sweet. Nice outdoor seating.

Quick pointers: Cash only! No more than a dozen parking spaces. Super friendly staff. Must visit if you're visiting the beaches in Long Branch. Refreshing dessert spot for soft-serve ice cream and Italian ice. A stone's throw from Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, this is the perfect cap to a long day at the beach. The soft-served ice cream is flavorful, and not overly sweet. The Italian ice maintains itself in a rich, creamy slush that is less watery compared to a lot of other Italian ice places. Additionally, there is a variety of unique flavors of the Italian Ice (the peanut butter is a must!) to try. There is an ATM on-site if your stranded with just cards. The prices are what you would expect for frozen treats, averaging around $5.25. Outside speakers offer some mild rock and roll and oldies as you sit at the round picnic tables on the premises, ultimately contributing to the beach vibes and making the Jersey Shore experience simply unforgettable.

The soft serve ice cream is very tasty and so is their sundae. They have a big selection of ice-cream flavors. Vanilla softserve ice-cream is superb. Took one star out because they don't have dark chocolate. Based on my visit, it seems that their soft serve ice cream and sundaes are the most popular. Docked one star because it's cash-only.

Definitely not Italian, but very good especially if your American from Nj. It’s cash only affordable and they have no restroom.

The ice and soft serve are extremely soft. By the time you pay for it, it's already melted. Both taste kind of watered down in flavor. The good things are that they're not overly sweet and the location is close to the beach for an easy walk to get some.

I love this place. Whenever I'm in Jersey, I have to stop. The Long Branch location is my favorite. Out here on the island, we have a place that starts with an M that everyone raves about. It doesn't come close to the Lighthouse.

This place is so good. It’s not the italian ice youd get at Rita’s. It’s thicker and tastier in my opinion. Cash only and there is an ATM to the right of the building. Line wasn’t too long for us but it was annoying with people taste testing. Multiple flavors and they allow you to get multiple flavors of ice and soft serve in a single cup. They also have toppings and sundaes!! No restroom but there’s one across the street. Staff was friendly. There is outdoor seating available also.

I call Strollos The Taste of an NJ Summer. Simply nothing like it. The best ice cream there is during the Summer months! Tasty and very affordable. Keep in mind, they are cash only. I've been going to Strollos for decades..they continue to be the very best. This is a huge recommendation from me whether you live in the area or are visiting The Shore for the day or weekend.

I'm not the biggest fan of strollo's because they don't serve hard ice-cream. But they have alot of great toppings for your soft ice-cream. I never tried their Italian ice, so I can't comment on that. The place is always packed though.

Amazing home made Ice cream, I've been coming to this place for 30 years and besides the location nothing has changed. The Ice cream is still delicious and amazing. The employees are friendly and welcoming.

The ices taste so refreshing, it was like taking a bath in a cold bucket of water on a hot summer day. I tried a triple decker of flavor of lemon, chocolate and cherry and it was so delicious that it made my taste buds dance like nobody was watching. The only downside is that my brain froze after taking a too-big spoonful and I had to wait for it to thaw before continuing. But that's just a small price to pay for such a sugary experience. I would highly recommend these Italian ices to anyone looking for a fun way to cool down, just remember to bring a hair dryer in case of brain freezes!

I was a tourist in this quaint town. Heard about this place and had to try it. I don't understand **Cash only** Oh gosh! Since this is a pretty decent establishment, this took me by surprise. For me, it's precedence, my party offered to pay for me but why?. Such a loss to not be able to accept my card, I don't even mind if you tell me you have to charge me a dollar more but the only option was a "rip-off" ATM machine. I am sorry, we are in an age where people pay from their phones. This scenario took me back a couple of years. Sorry, Strollo's maybe next time. No high rating from me today, solely based on convenience to have options to pay.
