No one is there to guide u, all staffs feel themselves as the ceo of fortis and ask patients to make their own way to reach the billing counter..Abusive, rowdy staffs at counter with doctors making unnecessary prescription for tests and diagnosis..A big time racket involved by big time professional hooligans. One of the values that fortis is writing as patient centricity and I believe in next review they should delete it.

I booked my yearly health checkup from Fortis Medical Centre. Surprisingly the process was very smooth. Starting from the billing desk executive ,health checkup coordinator, pathology's technician, Radiology doctor , ECG/TMT technician were very profession and friendly. The entire process hardly took 3-4 hours. Great experience

My mother underwent cataract surgery in Fortis Medical Center on the 7th of January, 2023. She received excellent care from the team. Dr. Somnath Majumder was very professional and focused, the surgery went smoothly and the pre/post-operative care was handled excellently by the nursing/support personnel. Special thanks to Mrs. Mousumi Roy for her warm hospitality and help. I would like this testimonial to be an appreciation of the quality of care received by us. The surgical process was explained to us very thoroughly in the preoperative consultations. The options for the surgery were well explained and we were given adequate freedom to proceed at our own pace. I would certainly recommend Fortis to my friends and family for their future medical needs. I must say that the lady receptionist in Fortis are not polite at all. Today I called them to aware about my OT which is tomorrow and a lady has received a call don't know who was she as she had not given any greetings and very rudely said ha ki hyche. I just want to slap her tightly nonsense person and before transferring a call she didn't even bother to tell. She should be fired from Fortis. Nonsense fellow 😠

No transparency of waiting list.. even if one comes first group D staff does not allow the patient.He calls him at last. No numbering of patients (neither by 1st come 1st serve nor by appointment order) .

Came to See Dr Zahir Abbas at Fortis a Lazer surgery at Fortis Sarat Bose Road. The appointment was for 12:30 but we kept waiting till 4 pm with any clarity on how much time it will take. The facilities are Unhygienic and there is complete mis management among staff who has no idea what's going on. They are least bothered about anything. Very very very bad experience. Utter mismanagement. The staff are not co-operating at all. Booking a slot for Covid 19 Vaccination I had to wait for about one and a half hour. Please think thrice before before booking a slot. I have never experienced such a bad paid service.

Due to unbearable consistent dental pain I had to go to Fortis Medical Centre located at 2,Sarat BoseRoad for availing dental services on17 th February 2022.I was well received by Ms Ruby Manager who was available.She organised my procedure hassle-free with Dentist DrGanguli.I had to wait a bit as there was one ongoing procedure for a patient.My dental procedure started on my turn soon by Dr Ganguli who administered local anaesthesia.In a short time my affected teeth were extracted without me getting even minimal pain.I returned home much relieved .I convey my sincere thanks toDr Ganguli & the team for providing wonderful dental service to a sr citizen my age. 1. First of all the staffs are very well learned and trained. I found the premises very clean. Staffs were very well behaved and co-operative. 2. The location is also very well connected with other parts of the city.

Even though the senior dr. is great but THE CLINIC LACK IN THE BASIC PART OF AN EYE CHECKUP - THE OPTOMETRIST WAS THE WORST. I have been wearing spectacles since i was 10years old, now i am 22, never in my 12years of experience have i ever face such bad test. The optometrist gave wrong ratings for my right eye. Vision from my old specs seems better. I waste 800 rupees for such non sense checkup. I don't know WHAT exactly made her think that the rating should be reduced when even the computer test said that the rating is more than what i had previously. Even a clinic who takes 300rs for checkup gives better optometric checkup than this money making machine of a clinic. NEVER EVER VISING FORTIS AGAIN. The optometrist didnt even rotate the lens while she was checking to see for axis and everything else. for 12years i have been getting my eyes checked, never experienced such LOW GRADE BASIC TREATMENT.

Seating and waiting at fortis very good &comfortable

The Fortis Medical Center is our go to clinic in our neighbourhood. I took my daughter there after she was found suffering from high fever, worried that it might be dengue or malaria. The staff there took her sample for testing and prescribed medicines. While the reports did allay our fears, it was the kind words of the doctor on duty that I really liked. She did her best to put rest to our fear. Nice Work.

My mother got her re-root canal treatment done here at Fortis Medical Centre Kolkata. The medical centre has a good team of doctors and staff. This place is the place for ruining your day. Any simple or complex problem you are trying to consult, u need not to worry after coming here, because the only worry remains is ....how long to wait. If your waiting period is below 5 hrs, then this is your lucky day....so word of advice...come prepared.

This is a complete Mess. The place is one of the worst Fortis ever. You will have no clue what’s going on. You will have to leave your entire days work to visit a doctor. Usual wait time is 3-4 hours with no respect to prior appointment. What goes inside god alone knows. Only response you will get, “Boshun, dakbe”; and then the greatest sitting competition starts.

The staff at the parking lot behaved very badly and they were simply harrasing us. They were asking for the car key though he had no authority to ask for. We parked the car properly still he was saying it not in a perfect position, probably he needed a scale and compass to get the measure perfectly. We were getting late by that nuisance. He was not letting us park the car and telling us to park outside. I don't know may be he was drunk, otherwise how perfectly we park the car he could've understand that. They charged 40 rupees without any parking slips.

Fortis Medical Centre on Sarat Bose Road is quite close to where I live and I go here for my check-ups usually. I am 67 years old and a patient of high blood pressure with increased uric acid levels in the body. Lately I have been visiting the dermatology unit in here too. I like it how attentively the doctors here listen to my problems and give diagnosis based on the same.

Bunch of frauds. Please never go there, save your money. They will forfeit your money and not give any service in return. Special mention to the orthodontic section, where the doctor is good but very relaxed on timelines. The helpers are just arrogant incompetent people. The coordinator speaks like the CEO and will try and give you a lecture on how to speak, while offering no solution to your time or money wasted. You will drive yourself up the wall trying to get your treatment or your refund. I wasted a whole year and 45,000 rupees like this.

Have been to Fortis on 11th Sept'21 for receiving my second Covaxin shot. The process was quick, smooth and we'll organised. The staff were very professional and helpful. From registration to receiving the vaccination, the entire process took not more than 10 mins. I would bring my family here to receive their second dose. Preferred mode of payment was cash. Highly recommended for everyone!!

Had very satisfied experience everytime I visit. I took my Covid Shield dose 1 & 2 both from there and both times it was completed within minimum waiting time, it very well organized.

I am writing seating here ! For repeated cases I and my 74 years old mother come here to visit Dr Kaushik Pandit. Every time there we find extreme insensitive patient handing. Today also we came at 11.55 am since my father was called from the place to come by 12 since " our name is listed at first" . But then the following happened 1. We were asked to wait without explaining any reason. By one at desk named "Arupjyoti". When asked about how long and why to wait the ananswrer was answer was " wait , we will call you " - no explanation! With rude attitude! Are we cattles?? Still we came back seat for another 20 minutes came back and asked would you mind explaining when billing would start and why it is not happening while we were asked to come at 12 ? 2. Then appears another one at desk named "Rumki" who spoke to my mom who is a former headmistress to undivided Bengals firs women schools teacher and then retired as Asst Headmistress -" did we not tell you to seat , don't you understand , we won't explain things to you " . Such deep insult and this shows how this space looks at people foregt about seniour citizens etc, who comes here, pays money , deserves at least a decent behaviour ! 3. I am also a patient here having high BP, I had to go now and protest that this is not accepted while you are onw who asked us to come . Then another lady came with no name plate on sari who spoke to last two staffs mimicking us " if someone hears things wrong we can't do anything "!! Would you management of fortis allow such inhuman service to your family? Result when I was asked inside the cardiology room to measure my pressure it has shot up "160/92". Tell me , while we come here to get treated, this place and its front desk people "help us" become sick ! I request management to take immediate actions against these incentives front office people and inform back us .. else this space will remain a dark lane for many patients to come

Worst medical management. Generally this is just for corporate checkups, the quality of diagnostic medical devices are poor. The list that is written in the health checkup brochure differs and you know it only when you pay the amount. As soon as you pay, they will say that a lot of tests are not available and they forgot to update the brochure. What a old time business plan to fool customers!! Long story short, if you want to simply come and waste you money, this is the PERFECT place!

I visited the centre for my sister's eye treatment. There I inter acted with many working persons of the centre beside doctors who were very polite and helpful. Thanks to all of them .A special thaks to an executive, Abhisekh by name, who was very nice in his dealing since I approached him for his assistance. In a whole it was quite a good experience for us and my sister is now recovering after retina operation by Dr Prasad.Thanks indeed to him as well.

The desk person Moumita is rude to the patient over the phone as well as when the patient family have any queries in the OPD. She was loud and busy on her personal phone and we all come to know that she will have to go for MRI which will cost 17000/- Such a funny thing!! She shouldn't be loud and must be well behaved. She must be terminated with immediate effect. Even she have issues with leaves says Fortis don't allow her to take leaves and she has 42 leaves. LOL. Doctor and nurses are too good and have no concerns with them.

Dental checkup: the doctor is using same gloves to move utensils, holding the chair, checking other patients and then before i could stop her, she put her fingers in my wife’s mouth, holding and checking the teeth. Unacceptably disgusting. Even if you dont have a disease, after a visit to FMC, you might be going back home with one. A lil effort please. Please for heaven’s sake.

On 14th January,2023 Cataract operation was done by Dr.Somnath Majumdar in my left eye. He is an excellent person not only as a doctor but as a human being.His team members were also nice Great ambiance at Patients have been kept tension free with musical atmosphere. It was a seamless experience for us, starting from the pre op arrangements to the completion of the entire process including the processing of the mediclaim and hence thanks to the entire team for making this process so smooth for us. Excellent care was received from the entire FMC team. I was extremely satisfied with surgery as well as the pre and post operative treatment by Dr. Majumder. He explained us the situation with ease and gave us full freedom to proceed at our own pace with the selection of the time for the surgery.
