I have long relationship with the Sramajibi Hospital. In the year 2008, my father was admitted in this hospital and stayed there for 18 days. My father was suffering from some non curable disease and undergone major surgery on stomach done by Dr P. Das. They charged Rs 20000 which was twenty times lesser than corporate hospitals. The surgery was so successful that my father is still living a normal life. Now, the age of my father is 72. Four years ago, my father was again admitted in this hospital for harnia surgery. The surgery was successful again and they charged a nominal amount which was twenty times lesser than private hospitals. Five years ago, my mother was admitted in the Srirampur Sramajibi Hospital for some surgical procedure and discharged next day. The procedure was successful. The bill for this the surgical procedure and one day stay was only Rs 750 rupees which was less than the room rent of a economic hotel for one day stay. Now, I will tell the quality of treatment provided by the hospital. According to my father, Dr Anil Kumar Saha was the in-charge of night duty. Throughout the night, Dr Anil Kumar Saha rounded the floors without any rest. He visited every patient, placed his hand on their head and back, caressed them and asked them about their problems. He gossipped with them and told them stories. It was very commonly seen that he even spent nearly an hour time with a patient. This is the example of extreme dedication which you will not get in the corporate hospitals who are professionals, by paying huge sum money. They don't prescribe any unnecessary and costly test, surgical procedure and medicine like 'Hospital Mafia' for profit. You will get proper treatment here. I know the fact that doctors, medical and administrative staff work here (even by traveling long distance) to serve poor and to serve people without expecting any return. I love the Sramajibi Hospital. I have great respect for them who have saved my family and families like me.

I and my mother had Gall Stone been operated there. The staffs though aren't patient with the patient's family at all, but if you have to get yourself helped just keep your calm because the surgeons are really good there. Yes, the surgeons don't even speak much, but there's no need. But I, particularly had a bitter experience, with the nurses, though I don't hold any grudge against them, as they are quite rough in handling me after my operation. The aya service is quite good, they indeed take care of your health, also charges you for it (which we call as Bokshis). Overall experience is good therefore gave four stars. You would see other reviews saying the staffs where they have bad mouthed about them. For check up you've to start keeping line from atleast 5 am orelse you'll be outnumbered. I'm being honest about it. Keep your patience and get your job done. All the best !!

Hospital is cheap and best but service is more cheap. No system No professionalism, they will do what they want, they don't have value of your time and emotions. They will call for check-up but doctor will not available results lose of time, money and physics. They don't have any effort to serve for public. No doubt trust and government are running this hospital but it's think patients are like dog coz we are going to take service. Replace all the mannerless staff of this hospital by good one. Otherwise even after cheap in cost no body will go for it because physical, mental condition is also very necessary with financial condition.

The worst hospital ever. Staffs are extremely rude. Doesn't give proper medication. Extremely unhygienic. They will just give you bunch of medicines and tests and that's it. No proper treatment is done there.

Don't Visit Sramajibi Hospital Serampore bcz they are don't know how to talk with Patient party they don't allow 2 people at a time at visiting hour.Dear Owner kindly educate your staff But Doctor & Nurse attitude gd.please upgrade visiting plan.

This is one of the Worst hospital ever . Extreamly rude behavior of both the doctors and the staff . Doctors make the patients sit in their beds and gives a bunch of medicines of thousands of money . They always shows attitude, I admit my mother over there for digestion problem but they put wrong injection due to which sever heart attack happened at night, they dont even having heart specialist doctor in there, test report also coming wrong I lost my Mother after 3 days then ! Please dont go there, You might loose your nearest one !!

Nowadays medical services become a business, Government health sector failed to provide minimal services. Sramajibi Hospital is doing phenomenal work by providing cheaper services. ✊✊✊

This is best hospital in Howrah district. There is no extra cost like other hospitals. Regnabl hospital.Daily 5-8 operations are doing hear everyday. Hospital's facility are very systematic. My family members had been admitted hear we got best results from saramjibi hospital.

Staffs behaviour is very bad facilities of this hospital is very poor don't come here to waste your time. they only harres patient .they have nothing to do with patient's emotion . The worst hospital I have ever visited. Surgeon is totally worthless. I took my wife for a checkup. She has a lump on her right hand thumb, the surgeon didn't even listen to her and threw the CT scan report and asked her to get a surgery done in Bangalore. What a waste!! This is just because its a govt hospital and they have a job security. I urge people not to even visit this hospital.
