    Mayo Hospital is the oldest and largest hospital of the country, serving the humanity since 1871. Mayo Hospital was completed in 1870 and it started patient care in 1871. It was named after the Earl of Mayo, the then Viceroy and the Governor General of India.

    Old Mayo Hospital is renovated and now it is the 2nd campus of Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, but till now only the outdoor treatments and free medicines are available.

    1. Think patients are illiterate and they try to charge more money by showing more stupidity. 2. Rude staff. Don't know how to talk even on phone. 3. Bunch of liars. Still waiting for test reports on mail, but haven't received. 4. They will first refer to their owner cum heart specialist for 1500/-, and once she says it's not her case, they won't even refund your money. Never ever go to this hospital. They think you r fool. There doctor in emergency is someone who has no medical knowledge.

    Good place....Doctors are good...and services are also well...well this place usually not crowded if we see the size of the structure....and it's still building..it's located near the Barra Bazar rail station.....It is the second campus of Kolkata Medical College which is situated in College Street..
