The best place where I ate as I was in Palermo. The dishes there are not like normal dishes, it's more like art. I tried the cheesecake (codfish, ricotta & potato cream) and it was one of the best things I ever ate. The waiters are very Friendly and the chef is regularly coming thru the tables. Thank you for this experience. I think I would come again to Palermo only for this amazing cheesecake 🤤🙏

My friends and I have been to this restaurant on our trip to Palermo. Truly delicious meal! Especially the dessert (Ice Parfait) was very tasteful. The waiter was helpful and spoke good English.

Very nice place, close to the Norman Castle, quiet. plaisant service, excellent food with fresh and local ingredients. Reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place

Fantastic little place tucked in beside the Norman Palace. Delicious food, friendly service, and an interesting, historic setting, sat beside and amongst the old water troughs and horse ties from the opulent palace stables. Highly recommended you seek out a meal here whenever you are in Palermo.

Not sure how we ended up here but ended up having two overcooked pasta dishes which we had to leave half uneaten. In the end, felt like a tourist trap with little to offer in terms of good food. The location is in a basement so not much of a setting

The food was good . It had the unique Sicily taste. The service was great so as the cleanliness. Nothing was so stand out that I would give a 5 star but I would recommend it and go again.

A nice space in the middle of Palermo. Vincenzo, our host, was very kind and friendly . We definitly recommend to eat here.

Buonissimo! Vincenzo was an excellent server and it was a great place for gluten-free options. They were very accommodating and Vincenzo explained all the dishes with lots of detail

In this restaurant they are trying to be fancy, but once you see and taste the food, you understand that there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Really impressive starters! We choose the chef’s selection and they are amazing. The pasta and main course are also ok but not creative. But it worth five stars.

Nice food, we had pasta. Nice but expensive wine (€40) to which we got a pushy sell. Our waiter who is probably the manager had an unusual manner, not friendly (“I heard you the first time”). Because of his attitude I would not recommend this place.

Wonderful little restaurant in an old stable. Amazing service and quite traditional dishes done in a modern way. We really enjoyed the attention to detail and the very homely atmosphere and attentive service. The food is really worth a try!!

Portions way too small for the price and food quality is very average. Spent 40 euro here on lunch and we had to go eat again afterwards because we were still hungry. Have eaten at other restaurants in Palermo where i spent half, got twice as much food that was tastier.

We ate here on our first night in Palermo and liked it so much we came back for a second visit. On night 1 I had Il Baccala: codfish delicately fried with almonds, chickpeas and caramelised onions. All beautifully cooked and presented. I had sardines to follow, accompanied by grilled vegetables, then an unusual (but delicious) sweet cous cous dessert. And tonight my main course was swordfish which was wonderful. If you like seafood you’ll love eating here: it’s in a beautiful building just opposite the Norman Palace. Great service, great value. Recommended without any hesitation.

Awesome local seasonal fishfood, and handmade pasta. Fast, happy and helpful waiter who speaks English as well. Cosy place with beautiful flowers and nice view to the park if you sitting outside. Also one of the best fresh cannoli on the city!

Relaxed, Authentic From the privileged location of this relaxed and unpretentious place, one can see through the palm trees of the Piazza Della Vittoria the two most important UNESCO World Heritage sites of Palermo: the Norman Palace and the Cathedral. The building itself deserves a note: It served as stable for the Norman rulers in the Middle Ages. Today, mismanaged Sicilian style, the fascinating court is used as parking lot. (It would make the most fascinating dining venue...) There is a dining room that can be reached via the court, which makes service a real challenge for a one-man staff (the two cats don‘t help much). My discovery: baccalà all'arancia (cod in orange sauce). I especially appreciated Alessandro‘s suave service. Not pushy, truly heartfelt. There should be more like him! Thanks Alessandro!

I have been here now many many times. Despite being from Palermo, and loving to cook myself, this is the one place I always bring my friends to taste a flavor of modern, yet traditional Sicilian cuisine. Chef a Pippo and his wife Lidia are wonderful hosts, and the service is flawless. Even in steaming hot, crowded summer days. Now. We went yesterday and had a feast. Pippo had us try is first timer seasonal dish: linguini with crema di carciofi, ricotta Fresca, and bottarga di muggine. Don't miss to sit here, if you get a chance.

A lovely location but a little pricey and varied quality. The sea urchin linguine and white wine featured in the photos are 5 star. The dessert is very average to be honest.

Very spectacular restaurant, with totally correct prices and high quality.Recommended without any question. (On a small note, the lady who was probably the owner or host of the restaurant is very gorgeous and graceful, I loved the outfit on her..and the waiter was a very handsome young gentleman.)

Arrived in Palermo late and found this place a few blocks from our apartment. It’s set back in a courtyard. Didn’t know if it was open but we checked and were warmly greeted and quickly seated. Nice diverse menu. After we ordered they brought out these little fried tortilla like items topped with fennel. The patties were made from chick peas. I could have eaten a bunch more. Glad I didn’t because my sword fish roll ups were amazing. The side of oven cooked potatoes were melt in your mouth buttery. Dessert was a pistachio cheesecake and chocolate cream cake. Fantastic meal and super friendly service. Worth a visit
