👍👍 The museum is full of specimens of all species preserved with various methods and in a good state of conservation. The display cases are well kept and collect species from all over the Mediterranean area and not, absolutely worth visiting.

Nice collection in a single room. Great to spend 45-60 minutes, entrance fee is 3€. Lots of taxidermy across taxa and beautiful old books are on display.

If you are looking for a nice collection of taxidermy this is a good place to go to. It has a rich history and a relatively well preserved collection. The staff is friendly and will give you a tour for free. The entrance fee is a very decent €3 at the time of writing. Most sea creatures are embalmed and have a very unique look. If you are in the neighborhood I would definitely recommend you visit this museum.

For 2 euro pp entry fee this taxidermy museum is worth going to if you have a half an hour to kill. The exhibits are not particularly well prepared but the atmosphere is interestingly old-fashioned.

Very nice little zoological museum, it looks like it haven’t changed since the middle of the XIX century. The birds and the fishes collection are impressive and definitely worth a visit to get totally inmerged in the old time. Many books are in Englush and French, some are opened to the description of some animal or plants. It’s interesting the way they describe them.

(Translated by Google) Exceptional place, it seems to make a leap into the past. Showcases with animals of many species some of them extinct and preserved thanks to a unique mummification process.

Complimenti e grazie.

As it's closed to Botanical Garden (which by the way - it's a must seen) it's a point which must be checked. Interesting very small museum ( especially for those who like taxidermy) to see one time.

Is it still open? It wasn’t open on Saturday, April 2023, though website says it’s open then. There are no signs of any kind or any hours posted on the front of the building.
