Villa Giulia, located in the heart of Palermo, Italy, is a beautiful park that offers a peaceful escape from the busy city center. The park was once a private garden belonging to the Florio family and has since been converted into a public space for visitors to enjoy. The park is well-maintained, with manicured lawns, colorful flowers, and towering trees that provide shade on hot summer days. There are several walking paths throughout the park, making it an excellent spot for a leisurely stroll. The highlight of Villa Giulia is the stunning Villa itself, which was built in the early 20th century and now houses a contemporary art museum. The exhibitions are well-curated and feature works from both Italian and international artists. The park also has a small lake with resident ducks, adding to the tranquil ambiance. There are several benches and picnic tables throughout the park, making it an excellent spot for a relaxing afternoon with friends or family. The staff at Villa Giulia is friendly and helpful, providing information about the park and its history. The entrance fee is very reasonable, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious travelers. In conclusion, Villa Giulia is a lovely park and museum that offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Palermo. The beautiful surroundings, well-curated exhibitions, and friendly staff make it a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the city.

This is a well tended local park/formal garden next to the Botanical garden. It opens at 7.30am and is free to visit. It is also close to the coast. We visited on a Saturday about 0830 and it was very quiet and restful. The central buildings are impressive but the layout, plants and statues mean there is plenty to see around each corner. I highly recommend coming here early before a visit to the Botanical garden.

Maybe I didn’t visit this park in the right season, since it looks so much better on pictures I found online. What really disappointed me was how badly maintained it is. On the pictures you can see it doesn’t really look clean and the infrastructure would definitely need some work 🙁

Magnificent botanical garden close to the sea side, with a large variety of cacti, beautiful orange trees, and a small pond with different species of birds and tiny lovely turtles. It's amazingly quiet once you're in there.

A must in Palermo. The public garden is connected to the botanical garden (which is also a must). Some neoclassical bulgings makes remembering the old Greek or Roman times. When the weather gets too hot it’s definitely a place to recommend to have some rest in a quite and relaxing environment.

It's a nice garden! Compare to Botanic, which you habe to pay to go inside, I would definitely suggest you to go to Villa Giulia. It's free and the park is more taken care than the botanic

Villa Giulia is a beautiful park with a lot to offer visitors. I especially enjoy the sundial and the sculptures. The gardens are also very well-maintained. Villa Giulia is a popular spot for both locals and tourists alike. It is a great place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Really nice park by the sea, it was baking hot even in September, and it's pretty big, so bring some water with you, there aren't a lot of services in the park.

A clean place, situated on a second floor, no elevator. It is posdible to self- check in the middle of the night. Close to the airport and to a wonderful Caffe Parisi

I love this place. You can grab coffee and some croissants in Bar Touring 20 meters from the entrance and then spend half a day relaxing in Villa Giulia. Absolutely lovely park neighbouring with the botanical garden.

Beautiful park with some amazing trees. Close to Palermo center and to the sea. Recommended. 👍

Beautiful park, but you shouldn't expect to chill siting on the grass, for example, cause there's no grass to sit on

Lovely park right next to the botanical gardens. Easy to get to by bus. Some scaffolding in places which makes the views of some sculptures a bit less appealing. Lots of benches to relax at. Many of the fountains didn't have water in them. A variety of trees and some brightly coloured flowers. Recommend coming here for a peaceful stroll and a sit down with nature.

A very quiet park away from the busy and chaotic city life of Palermo. Some very pretty flowers on show as well as many statues in various states of disrepair.

It was a bit dry and not that green in July. Very calm, not crowded at all. But very impressive sculptures and close to the sea!

It is a beautiful villa located in the city of Palermo, there is much history and cultural as well. But in my opionion it needs more manpower.
