UPDATE: The ER was so slow but I would like to commend the nurse and doctors who helped us. They were nice! Worst Emergency Room I have been to! We’ve been here for 10 hours and waiting for the doctor. I do not know how many more hours we need to wait for. At least they tell us if we have to wait for another 24 hours! We are still waiting right now while I am typing this. No staff you can talk to, they are all hidden behind those rooms. Terrible! I will not come back to this hospital nor recommend to my family and friends. Been reading comments about how terrible your ER is. And it’s been the same reply that this hospital is responding to comments. I am expecting I will be getting the same copy and paste response from the owner/hospital.

I walked in the ER Friday afternoon with a minor arm injury that required medical attention. The patient ahead of me, who was sitting in the chair at pre-triage, complained of severe fatigue, shortness of breath, and chest pressure (covid probable) and was swiftly sent to sit in the waiting room with the other 30 helpless people. My turn came at pre-triage and I was instructed to sit in the chair, to which I refused due to covid concerns, and was slightly mocked for being a germaphobe, which I'm not. I ride the Metro everyday without worry and my wife is a full-time nurse at Lakeshore hospital for the last 8years. I make my way to the extremely full waiting room that is full capacity, patients in beds right in the lobby and up and down the hallways as far as the eye can see, no social distancing, no separating the sick from injured, the intercom is barely audible forcing nurses to run through the ER calling patient names, security telling me to sit in the one available seat between two clearly sick patients, etc. I stood their watching the ER fill up for 1 hour making social distancing completely impossible forcing me to leave and seek treatment elsewhere. I've spent time in many different hospitals ERs in Montreal, and a couple in the US, and have never seen such a poorly managed ER, it was chaos. Our brand new 1.3 billion dollar hospital's ER, that should have learned from the problems of our older hospitals in the city, resembles a overcrowded public clinic offering 3rd world healthcare. I hate to say it, god forbid, but if their is another serious wave of covid, this hospital will collapse under even the slightest pressure. Absolutely disgraceful and truly Quebec!!!

It is quicker to travel to the airport, fly to your home country, receive treatment, and then return than to wait in line at the emergency room to see a doctor. It's not that the employees are lazy; it's just that the management no longer cares.

Everytime I come here over the since it was built I can't help but wonder at the fact "that they had an empty field and this is what they came up with?" How is everything so cramped? How does it all feel like it was jammed into a very tiny space? The staff here is great even though they seem (admit to being) perpetually understaffed. The ER waiting room however is ridiculously cramped and poorly designed that wheelchairs collide, gurneys are lined up around the corner and waiting patients stand wherever they can find space. This was further complicated on my last visit when the odour from 2 individuals sent people scrambling from the seating area. There is also a surprising lack of outlets for charging phones given the recent construction of the hospital and the fact that phone batteries run down faster since the ER is underground. Bring snacks and drinks because they overcharge in vending machines and shops. Plan for 12 hour wait times.

ER is extremely slow, it is not worth it at all. Avoid at all costs. I was there since 9am and stayed 11pm and simply gave up on this so called hospital, a joke, absolutely waste of my day and not helpful at all. Reception has no idea how long wait times are, everyone is hidden behind closed doors, if you ask how long, they just look at you and say "oh i don't know, its just busy". You really need to stand up for yourself and ask around in anger to get some type of movement or help. Doctors only called 2 patients every 8 hours. People there were there for 10 hours, 15 hours even 17 hours! Absolutely ridiculous. There were many patients who were in need of major help and to the point of almost fainting, the nurses and doctors just yelled at them /ignored them. One of the worst experiences ever. Never going here ever. I rather to go jewish general or somewhere private where i know that even a small minor emergency is priority. Waste of time.

What a beautiful, modern, and world-class health care centre in Montreal! The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) is a bilingual academic health network, and one of the largest and most modern in North America. It is also one of the two major healthcare networks in Montreal, Quebec and affiliated with McGill University! It has become one of the largest medical institutions in Canada! There are over 10,000 healthcare works in the institute plus over 5,000 medical students, nurses, and residents from McGill University Faculty of Medicine working there as well. The MUHC is the largest combined adult and children's hospital in the province, providing all aspects of specialized and complex care to both populations amongst its sites with paediatric, adult and cancer services being combined at the Glen site. In addition, the Research Institute of the MUHC is an international research powerhouse with a worldwide reputation in the field of biomedical sciences and health care. Definitely a advanced and spectacular healthcare system! Their contributions are highly appreciated!

It was my first time going to this hospital, and I was really appalled. I was checked in at 12:45 p.m. and saw a doctor 8:50 a.m. the next day. Then waited another 8 hours to get results. My family doctor and the nurse at the Clsc believed that it was a blood clot because my leg was swollen and, I had difficulty walking. My doctor printed all the information and asked me to give it at the emergency. The nurse at the emergency, ( not so nice lady) I believe she has curly blonde hair. She was extremely rude and said to me "who does your doctor think she is to tell us what to do? She can't just decide that you have a blood clot." Later on, a lady arrived 10 hours after I did, she complained that she felt faint, and they immediately took her in. I went to complain to the receptionist, and I asked her if she can give me some idea of the wait time. I was in a lot of pain, and I couldn't feel my leg at this point. I was told that the nurse who checked me in had placed me "as not priority", which is why I waited this long and it can't be changed. My results the next day showed that there was indeed a blood clot in my leg. I understand that hospital staff is under stress, as I have family who works as nurses, but this is far from ridiculous. The nurse who checked me in I saw her leave to go home, and I saw her start her shift the next day. I also noticed that several patients left to go home. They complained that they were frustrated. It was sad that several people walked away without being treated. Their situation could have worsen but they would rather go home. I have always gone to the Jewish General Hospital, however, I decided to try this hospital since I was in the area. At the Jewish the wait time is tolerable and the staff is very pleasant even under stress. They even provided me with a blankets and came to check in on me whenever they had a minute. I felt appreciated and safe at the Jewish Hospital, because this is not part of their responsibilities.

For anyone considering going to the ER and is not in life threatening situation. GO ELSEWHERE. I went from waiting 16 hours in the triage area followed by what’s now almost 3 hours waiting for a doctor. How is this acceptable? I came in for being partially numb in my left foot/ankle and was assigned P3 by the triage nurse. I am writing this review while STILL WAITING!!!!!! disgraceful.

Giving this facility a one star rating would be doing them a favor. The most deplorable, most ridiculous, most scandalous and unacceptable institution I have EVER, and I emphasize EVER, visited. Service is comparable to nothing because ‘service’ in itself does not exist. Are you in an emergency situation? You’re better off staying at home than coming here, you’d be doing more of an effort by not moving out of bed than any effort they put into doing ANYTHING at this JOKE of a place. 2 days. 16 HOURS of having to wait in the emergency room and no less than 1000 thousand ‘it’ll be soon’… You guys are the most corrupt and upright incompetent workers I have EVER come across. EVER. As a hospital, let alone an emergency room, that should say just about how much of a joke you lot are. I wish no one the amount of time I spent in time waiting for hours on end to be attended. You guys deserve the worse.

By far the worst ER I have ever been to in my entire life. They can say all they want that there is a priority list, however, there wasn't a rush of walk-ins that came in. I was number 93 when I came in at 3:30pm and they reached 115 at 11pm. Clearly you can see that the rate of people walking into the ER is going at a slow and steady pace. I've been waiting for 6 hours for a doctor. How is this even possible? Don't even get me started on the lack of covid-19 protocols. As the other comments suggest, if you are not in a dying situation, GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL. Even if it's one hour away, go anywhere else but not here.

Despite being the worst ER, I must say the maternity floor is amazing. I was admit at the Glen for 2 days and my nurses on level D6 were the best ever! Especially Anna. Feel.blessed if you get her. Never ever received such warm love and respect from a nurse that's known you for less then 12 hours. Thank you so much to the entire team💜

I like going here for emergencies because of the way you're treated when you come in. You're registered within 5-10min and see a triage nurse about the same time. My most memorable experience was when they had a 18hrs wait and had put in place someone to schedule appointments at local clinics for those with less serious illnesses. That was wonderful! But it takes forever to see an ER doctor or to get your tests results. It's very important to know that they are missing many specialists at this location so you could be waiting 10hrs to see a Doctor just to get a referral for a specialist! That is really not a good thing and keeps the waiting rooms filled for no reason! I would suggest that they implement a system where those needing to see a specialist that isn't available, should be seen, provided with the referral and sent home...then you can focus on those who really needs help! Amazing work but you can make it better.

Doctors are great know there stuff and attentive . However the staff are extremely rude have no bedside manner , they think because there's a shortage of workers they can do and say as they please. Its disgusting . Save yourself the attitude and the unwillingness to help go to the jewish the doctors are just as good the wait isnt as long and the staff actually care. It's sad to go to a hospital seeking emergency care for an emergency and to be mistreated!

BE CAREFUL !! SCUM BAG THIEF !!! My mother was waiting at the emergency room for over 20 hrs and during that time, a thief stole her purse. What kind of person would do such a thing. The security was of zero help! Can't even show us the picture of the person. My mom's life was in that purse, most importantly pictures of her grandchildren. Side note, the police was useless as well. Why in this society the criminals have more rights than the good citizens. All I want is a picture of the person so social media can help. I really can't rely on the police and hospital security.

This hospital is horribly managed they have inept physicians. They put me on television pretended to help me then left me for dead. I had to go to another country to receive medical care. They spend their time here scrubbing the negative reviews but the truth is at least once a month this institution is in the news for some kind of medical negligence. The amount of errors that happen in this hospital are horrifying especially considering the fact that it’s a indoctrinated teaching facility. I don’t know if it’s the people managing the hospitals the doctors that work in it but it seems they have all forgotten the oath they took. They’re not in the business of resolving problems just deflecting and pushing blame onto other parties except themselves. The funniest thing about my whole experience here is the doctor that was supposed to help me told me he seen thousands of cases like mine he never saw one in his entire career. Go figure he’s the head of tropical medicine here & would rather gaslight and destroy people‘s lives then save them. Doctors with egos and narcissistic tendencies are a detriment to one’s health. Multi billion dollar institution built on fraud & corruption , till this very day still corrupt.

My mom was there for surgery. It would take forever for a nurse to come to her room once she pressed the button. Her Catheter came out and they barely helped her get cleaned up and left the room with urine still on the floor. Just terrible. Both times her meals were cold.

Royal Victoria ER for Adults: Everyone in the waiting room took over 12 hours before seeing a doctor. Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere where the doctors care. I wasted 17 hours in the waiting room eating only vending machine food. Walking out at 7am with a wrecked sleeping schedule and 0 answers. Yup after waiting all night for a doctor, he gave me a chest xray, and 10 blood tests only to be told: "sorry, we don't know what's wrong with you. Try somewhere else." Oh and to get the results of the blood tests/chest X-ray, I need to wait 30 days. I'm in severe pain in my abdomen, and I collapse asleep every day from something. Are the hospital staff overworked or incompetent?

I had two bad experiences one with me. I went to hospital was having kidney stones and inflammation in colon. Colitis. I was in so much pain. Doctor saw everyone .. left me for 21 hours when it came my turn , i was dying. He lectured me for 10 minutes that they are treating cancer and people who are dying not such a simple thing like mine. And even if he sees me he wont do anything nor give me anything. So I left and had to go somewhere else. Second time , was my son he was having severe reaction from food which lasted three days. They gave him IV. Refused to say what they gave him. He had very low blood pressure i think they made a mistake. They re afraid. After they made us waiting for more than 6 hours. When we asked them that symptoms are back. They said the same we are treating people with cancer and heart attack they are priority. Although they did not make any allergy test nor blood test. Or gave him medecine when his face began swollen again. They said doctor will see him kept us for three hours again. So we asked to remove the IV and go. They refused even to remove it. We asked three people they refused to remove. Had the tell them that we ll call the police if they do not remove it. By the end they removed it .. we left without treatment and without that they tell us what we should do or what they gave him in IV. We asked for a paper they refused they said as long you did not see the doctor we cannot give any information. In general hospitals and doctors are to help people. Emergency wasn’t full was almost empty. Too bad that it is the case with people who chose the help and cure others. Too bad that is the attitude. I do not encourage people to go there. And they always repeat about how long people stay , as it has become a normal rule here that you have to be at hospital from 10 to 16 hours this be seen by a doctor. So you make triage with a shift and you might he seen with another shift.I do not think it is about priority nor life or death, i think that they are not good enough to handle patients as I see in other countries.. few doctors are handling lot of patients in one day. This is called being professional and dedicated. No wonder people travel to be treated in other countries.

Worst hospital experience of my entire human lifetime. If you want to wait over 16 hours in the emergency, come to the Glen! If you want to be brought into your doctors office after waiting 16 hours and then wait ANOTHER 3 hours for the doctor to come to you, come to the Glen! Do you want a staff who is condescending towards you and makes it known that they despise you? Come to the Glen! Stay away from this hospital. I only have experience with the emergency section, but if it’s like this here, I can only assume that the clown show continues throughout this entire establishment. Complete joke. Close this hospital down, you’re embarrassing yourselves.

I'm really sorry for the healthcare services in Canada, every time I come to the hospital I have to spend the whole day waiting uninformed. 5 predetermined appointments costed me more than 30 hours waiting time. I have experience as a certified professional in healthcare quality, I worked on the healthcare organizational development, and I'm experienced in key performance indicators and it's determinants. I see you mentioned lots of items of a big construct that can be measured, compared and improved. I see that managerial, quality, and professional level still not at the same level of the infrastructure. I can volunteer providing you lots of efficient solution if you are willing to change

Terrible staff! They didn’t change my mothers bandages once. Sat in the emergency hallway for 3 days! Ignoring by nurses when she was in pain, told they can’t help her and she was discharged with no help, no antibiotics, nothing! Was told to take Tylenol if in pain. I had to change her bandages myself.

I understand some people complain about ER waiting time, but that is the case at any hospital you go to. From my family's personal experience, my wife gave birth there twice, and both times the hospital was fantastic. Clean nice rooms and nice staff. I did take my son a few years ago to the ER, it was Christmas and we did not wait long. The whole thing took maybe 2 hours. They had Santa there giving out toys to all the children.

I cannot imagine receiving a better care anywhere in the world. I just returned from the Emergency, where I was admitted with a heart condition. Everyone that took care of me was very knowledgeable, polite and caring. Yes, it’s busy and the staff is busy, and they work 12-hours shifts - you have to wait, but they prioritize fairly and they do not project their stress and tiredness on patients. I don’t know how they do it, but it is truly impressive. I applaud and deeply appreciate everyone that I met in the process. Special thanks to the nurse Kenneth - so knowledgeable, organized and accommodating- who took care of me and made me feel safe every min of many hours that I spent in the hospital being treated, monitored and waiting for the paper work being completed and decisions being made. Thank you ALL

Getting to the admissions office is a nightmare. Its in RC level Royal Victoria entrance. So if you come from metro, prepare to walk a good 15’ It’s nowhere indicated how to find this tiny little bureau. This creates unnecessary delays into going to appointments. Thanks god we arrived 30’ in advance.

I needed two stitches only at urgent care but when I got there I waited 7 hours in the small waiting room with patients that were much more ill than I was. I knew that I was going to be at the bottom of the list but I didn’t think that it would be so long. When I asked if I could come in the next day for stitches the very rude administration girl had so much attitude and basically told me to leave so they could take my $800 for nothing. I was so mad that the nurses didn’t even care that I was in genuine pain when I didn’t even give any attitude back. If you saw how sad the patients were in the waiting room nobody would ever come to such a place. I know the people working are miserable but I was in genuine shock by the lack of compassion. Don’t go to this business and don’t waste your time.

I am actually at the emergency room as I am writing this. I can Sunday waited 8 hours they gave me an appointment nothing came of the appointment. Wake up Monday morning choking on my Uvula. Went to the hospital. I have an infection for sure in my throat. Nodes are swollen you can see them from a far. So far I have waited 12 hours today Monday. I am the last person from the group of people who came in before me or slightly after me. Everyone else got seen. Some guy with an ankle sprain got seen before me. I have not had any food in days because I cannot eat the pain is to much I can barely drink fluids. Tell me how is this fair treatment? I will past out soon enough and I hope I am sitting when it happens. But this just goes to show going here is a death sentence. You legit wait for nothing. I am most likely going to be here for another 5 hours minimum.

No comment on triage, or the ER as I never had to go there. However, the Sleep clinic was well prepared and high quality care was given. The hospital itself was big, and beautiful and had an interesting underground metro connection. Thank you McGill Sleep Clinic for the study.

The receptionists don't do their job at all, they have 0 human side. he lets you wait for several minutes and starts talking instead of assisting people. What's more, they don't even call us to confirm the appointments. I have to travel each time so that they can give me an appointment confirmation. don't even speak to you in French.

There was a long waiting time in emergency, the building looks great & wonderful but emergency service was so bad then out of our standing, it like an huge house with only one toilet for as many people. 2023 my brother was visited Glen and spend more than 24 hours in emergency….. Strongly to suggest don’t go to Glen emergency except you have too much time to waste.

I got to speak to a man from the call center. He should not be allowed to speak to people. Going through fertility issues is stressful enough. I had a baseline ultrasound last month, was supposed to have a blood test also but the system was down and I was not able to get a hospital card. Once the system was back up and I was issued a card, the blood testing center was closed. I was told to call back on my next cycle. Today I called back. This guy told me that they do not accept people referred. I said that makes no sense since last month I had an appointment.. When i asked to speak to someone else, he then asked the person next to him if they could take the call, they said no. You may want to put people with a better bed side manner. Because of this, I will not get the tests done AGAIN.

I have been a patient here on and off for 5 years now for routine blood tests, appointments and otherwise and the staff are amazing. From admin to the nurses to the physicians. Nothing is perfect there has been a few stuff that made my eyebrows raise here and there but I mean that’s not the hospitals fault that’s just what you get when you live in a country with socialized medicine. It’s weird to say this about a hospital but I actually like going there. I can’t leave out how fortunate I am to have a facility like this that caters to the anglophone community.

Your receptionist are all confused, you need to train them well & because of this they hold on to files for 2 months which could of been solved in 1day & because they don't understand , they raise their voice on patients who are inquiring more information , a nightmare to contact your hospital very bad. I contacted for second opinion for an aggressive cancer, after 2 months receptionist is asking for my reports but she is calling them "doctors hand writing notes."... I'm speechless , a patient can die during this wait time and still not seeing the doctor. Wait time still on going. This could of done max in 1 week . It shows you DO NOT CARE FOR YOUR PATIENTS

The staff are truly doing the best they can however the emergency wait times( 8 hrs) are ludicrous. The afternoon shift had but 2 nurses for the entire department. I was located in a room (20)with no assistance buzzer and was admonished for pressing the only visible buzzer after attempting for over 35 minutes to get assistance for my iv which was flowing blood outwards all the while the airbubble alarm was sounding. Presently awaiting the specialist I was told by overnight doctor would be right in...8 hrs ago..

Making people wait outside for an hour in the cold (-23) for a covid test is ridiculous. Even P2 parking lot was warmer. They choose the coldest place you need to stand to wait. It shows the hospital does not care for people and shows the utmost cruelty for sick people. People in charge need their head examined.

Today I went to the eye clinic on de Maisonneuve to make an appointment. The receptionist, Tristan was upbeat and a delightful person helping me. I appreciate this kind approach as I’ve been told that workers dealing with the public can have a nasty attitude. This saddens me as all the receptionists are trying to do is accommodate the patients. Kudos to you all!

The tuna fish sandwich, coffee and cake were excellent and fairly priced. Thank you to Mr. Chris Jasiel who went the "extra mile" for us in finding us a table and showing us where to find what we were looking for. The cafeteria is very clean, modern, and the volunteers very helpful in helping us find our way around the Glen. The garage was difficult to figure out where to go for parking and there was no one to guide us. Coming home from the garage was easier, as some other people told us that we could follow them.

The MUHC staff delivered our baby 2 days ago. We had uncommon issues late in the pregnancy, had to deliver early knowing that the sonogram results were not looking too good, and we had an induced delivery that took 44h culminating in a highly-encouraged C-section by the staff. My wife was at the end of the rope and terrified, and so was I (guess my rope's shorter). The staff was incredibly talented both technically and emotionally: they all managed to help us through this whole nightmare from the beginning (pregnancy) to the end (post-partum), showing not only high skill and knowledge, but also genuine concern and care. I can't thank the partum department enough in particular, as I'm pretty sure they saved my wife's and my newborn's life - and my heart with it. A thousand thanks from the both (the three) of us. P.S: We must have seen a dozen of staff members from those departments, and they were all great. That's absolutely amazing in our book, which means the MUHC must be doing things right as an institution. Great work to all!

I had an ophthalmologist appointment at 9:30 am. I reached there at 9:25am . Parking was good and everything is ok. But the waiting time is terribly bad. I got to see the doctor at 12:50 pm. I wanted to ask the Administration what is the purpose of giving appointments . And what is the reason of this long waiting time. In emergency they takes 10 -12 hours. If they give appointment then taking 1 hr extra is ok. But 3.5 hr is too much. It’s an eye check up appointment not the full body check up. Advice to all: if you are planning to go there , please bring charger food , books to read.

If I can give this hospital a negative review, I will. I took my friend to the ER because her temperature was very high. The nurse in the ER was very rude, she told us that there are other people there who are more sick than my friend. She told my friend to take Naproxen 2 tablets every 4 hours. I told the nurse that Naproxen should not be taken 2 tablets every 4 hours, the nurse told me not to talk and that she knows what she is saying. So, I ended up taking my friend home without seeing the doctor, and I told my friend not to take 2 tablets of naproxen that the nurse wanted her to take. I just took my friend home, did tepid sponge bath, gave my friend tylenol RTC until her fever subsided…. We know that sickest people are seen first, but that’s not my concern, my concern is the rude nurse who told my friend to take 2 naproxen every 4 hours, is that right? Does the nurse know what naproxen is, how it’s taken and the frequency it should be taken, because you didn’t reply to that.

I came in the urgency room at 5pm knowing That I would possibly stay there all night. I was called in pre-triage and triage within the hours or so. The nurse told me that it wasn’t worth for me to wait here all night as my urgency wasn’t as urgent as others but still needed a check up quick. She gave me an appointment to a clinic Near my house the next day. I waited 30min for the lady at enregistrement to call me but didn’t so I just went up to her and asked kindly and she did my appointments on the spot. I know sometimes it can be long but surprisingly I was served pretty fast and kindly. Glory to God.

Please do yourself the favor and don’t come here for an emergency! Go to another hospital! The nurse straight up told me that they cater to kids and cancer patients, that is the hospitals specialty (which they should). Runnnnnnn!!!

You should really correct the process of creating hospital cards. It's 2021 and you call me, Mr. ( My ex wife's name). When I tell the registration clerk, I get told, " that's how we do them." I'm not my ex wife. At least have the decency to address me by my correct name when you call me on the phone for registration.

I went for an emergency for my daughter who was sick. I went there and paid 1250 CAD as I was not having RAMQ. I did not get any prescription or doctor attention for my daughter. I walked out from hospital without prescription after waiting for more than 6 hours.

In terms of service, it is really excellent and most like a five-star hotel. The building is well maintained and very clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is offered. I hope I do not have to go to the hospital and neither do the others, but if I do, this is the best place for it.

had good experiences as a kid and teen but as soon as im 18 i find myself in the er waiting for 5 hours. after asking a kind worker how long it would be as everyone i had arrived to see had gone, he said i would not be out before midnight (7 hours later). I spoke to the nurse about getting an appointment for the next 2 days and he said 'why are you here then if you want an appointment?'. i explained as it was a head injury with possible concussion that happened at work i needed it to be evaluated. He proceeded to hit his knee on purpose under the desk and said that that is also a work accident but not everything is major. I felt completely invalidated as there is a reason i went to the ER rather than my family doctor. Ridiculous wait times, charged 11$ for parking, on top of that rude staff members with only one helpful man!

Brand new facility, a bit hard to navigate - it is huge. Medical care is excellent, but getting in and out or picking up someone is problematic, a lot of congestion. Underground parking is excellent.

Clean and new. I enjoyed the food court. If you have an appointment come early finding parking from 10 am to 4 pm is a disaster took me almost 20 minutes just to get to find a spot.

I wanted to express my deep gratitude to McGill Hospital including triage and pre-triage. When it comes to to serious cases, they work quickly, accurately and professionally. Thank you, doctors of Chest Clinic, so much for saving my life - Dr. Beaudoin, Dr. Gonzalez, as well all the nurses - they are all real professionals and have big hearts. Thank you as well to Dr. Olivenstein and Dr. Doucet for taking care of me. Thank you and Happy holidays to all!

Disgusting wait time 17 hours at the emergency. Came in at 3am, they hire students that have zero knowledge and at the end they said (they don’t know how to read the Ultrasound) It is very sad to experience this in Canada.

I was waiting 12 hours yesterday to see a doctor at the end he told me he didn’t think I had something urgent when he didn’t even told me anything about my symptoms and that I should follow with my family doctor . Totally unacceptable! ! Not even a third world country have this horrible health care system. This is the worst health care system.

The most disgusting hospital in the world the nurses think they are the BOSS of the hospital, at night there is always only one doctor on duty who never works (night shift doctors don't work) they talk and argue with the other nurses and drinking coffee while people sleep as best they can, lying on the floor under the benches sitting and after 10 hours of waiting you fall asleep even standing up from 12 midnight no one works anymore until 5 in the morning I understand there are serious patients first everything but the problem is that until the sun comes out they don't even take care of those serious people who walk through the corridors complaining, bleeding on the floor dirtying the chairs the staff is not friendly at all they think they are in charge of everything and everyone speaks badly and doesn't respect people sick and to clarify THE NIGHT IN THIS HOSPITAL FOR BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN NO ONE WORKS NEITHER DOCTORS OR NURSES THEY DRINK COFFEE AND CHAT AND STAY ON COMPUTERS ALL NIGHT I hope we have measures there are people who get paid without doing their job I've been waiting for a prescription for an antibiotic for 15 hours, I took a day off from work for this CRAZY stuff!!!!

Very nice staff. Good service. Beautiful cafeterias. This is a hospital where you feel good, not traumatized, and where you want to go back.

The Glen super hospital combines the Royal Victoria and the Montreal children's hospital and Shriners and more. It truly is a super hospital with super services and facilities throughout. It's a bilingual environment with a positive vibe and great services within the RAMQ Quebec medical services of social medicine here in Quebec Canada. A great place for healthcare. ♥️ These photos show the early days of it being constructed and put together along with the refurbished highways all around and about. .

Went there to accompany my relative who has to take a colonoscopy exam which took overall around 2 hours. Not crowded at all, mainly because we went there when the hospital put restrictions due of the rising covid cases. We haven't gone to the ER there but I assume it's as long as when we went to Montreal's General Hospital, which I can't really blame the doctors & staffs especially giving the covid situation.

5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️From the front door and back out to the garage everyone was lovely, friendly and helpful! I had blood tests and was in and out within 2 hours so parking was free! I was so nervous at first to find my way around, I had never been there before, and was immediately put at ease by every single person I came across. It was quick and efficient and literally everyone had a smile in their eyes 👀 (New masks are given at the door) Lovely experience and super fast as I booked through cliq sante!

I would have given it a rating of 0 if that were possible. On October 4, 2023, I visited A&E. Despite being in pain, I was asked to pay over 1,000 Canadian Dollars just to be seen by someone. After waiting several hours, I never saw a doctor or a nurse. Each time I inquired about the estimated wait time, I was told it would be another 20 minutes to 2 hours. Frustrated, I decided to request a refund. The A&E receptionist, in a very rude tone, instructed me to go to level 6 to obtain a refund. In great pain, I made my way to level 6, only to be informed that they couldn't process my refund without a document stating that I hadn't seen a doctor from A&E. The accounts department was unyielding and insisted that I go back to the lower floors to obtain this document. Once I managed to get the necessary paperwork, I found out that the person in charge had left, and no one was sure when she would return. They photocopied all my documents and provided me with an email address and a phone number to contact. I attempted to reach out about ten times via phone, leaving messages but received no response. Similarly, my emails went unanswered. When I called the switchboard, I was surprised to find that the person in charge wasn't even on their contact list. This entire experience is nothing short of a shambolic and blatant disregard for customer service.

AVOID THE ER! We arrived at 7pm got triaged pretty quick and then they call your name when you go “register” they called us to register around 9pm We waited all night and at 3:30am finally got put in a room where the nurse took blood samples. Couldn’t give us any estimate when we would see a dr At 6:00 another nurse barged in and asked us to change rooms and she would be “right with us” (she never came back) At 7:30 I got fed up and pressed the call bell to ask when we would be seen. A super rude woman exclaimed that it was shift change and she had no idea when anyone would See us. I understand the ERs are full but a little communications with patients would be nice.

Disappointing and sad experience. I think there are a lot of skills in this hospital but... The wait is endless and the management of appointments is chaotic. The staff seems overwhelmed, we feel it a lot. At the first appointment with a surgeon, wait of 7 hours. Without clear communication. I left this place after a few weeks.
