I was "seen" by a little bald doctor with black-rimmed glasses. I am giving this description because he did not give me his name, and everyone needs to beware of this villain. First of all, he spoke to me in the most condescending dismissive tone I've ever heard. When I told him I've been suffering from long covid and listed my symptoms (I've been sick for over 2 months now), he told me it was "probably a cold." When I began to describe my symptoms again, he interrupted me and said, "I heard your story dear." When I told him about my cartilage inflammation, he said, "Well your lungs sound clear," even though the inflammation was not in my lungs. He simply prescribed me some migraine medication, without asking me if I had any allergies or was on other medication and started backing out of the door. I told him I'm already taking migraine medication. He said, "Well let's give this one a kick at the can." And then he began backing out of the door again. I had to literally BEG him to stay and take me seriously. He finally shrugged and said, "I guess we can schedule you for a blood test." The scheduled blood test never happened. I guess he forgot? And my pharmacist called me the next day, worried, and told me not to take the medication he had prescribed because it would interact with the meds I was already on (which the doctor never bothered to ask me about) and cause stomach bleeding. Even she told me to see another doctor. This "doctor" is shocking. How he is allowed to practice medicine blows my mind. He is short, bald, skinny, and has glasses. If you go to the walk-in clinic STAY AWAY FROM HIM. He is a conman and a criminal and deserves to be unemployed.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. The WORST receptionists I have ever dealt with. How are these people employed? This place is a DISASTER that has probably caused more illness and despair than it's helped people. Makes our health and civil service system look sad and broken. If you need to see a doctor, go somewhere else unless you have no other choice. Did I mention the abusive receptionists that talk down to you at their best and straight up scream at you at their worst? My spouse had the exact same experience here despite actually having an appointment. The walk-in clinic is especially toxic. I have a lot of health care professionals in my family and this kind of behavior is unheard of.

I have been a physician for 30 years and have seen at times unprofessional behavior at times. This place gets first prize. I went for a simple Xray a few days ago. I was confronted by the rudest receptionist who could not have appeared less interested. She ordered me to do sit in a corner and wait. After 1 hour of waiting politely asked for an update from the other receptionist who almost bit my head off. Then she stated there was no requisition for my test and started badmouthing my physician. I left and checked with my physician who showed me proof that he had send them the requisition which they lost. AVOID this place at all costs!

I’ve never seen such lack of empathy towards patients. One of the nurses was rude and also ironic, absolutely no need to treat people like this. Another one “recommended” me that I should personally strangulate the minister of Health (what…?). I’m a health care professional and I’m really impressed how they do not care about one’s health and well-being. Why working in this sector if you lack respect for people, especially when they are most vulnerable?

The doctors I saw were fantastic - kind, friendly, professional, reassuring. The nurse (a tall woman with a blonde pixie cut and glasses) was an absolute nightmare. She was upset that I had come in as a walk-in patient after my family doctor cancelled my appointment last minute and told me "you're lucky we have seasoned doctors here; you'd better hope they remember their surgical rotations". The doctors should be made aware that their nursing staff is deliberately undermining patient confidence in the doctors.

HORRIBLE RECEPTION, TWO OLD LADIES WHO ARE THE MOST IMPOLITE, INSENSITIVE PEOPLE I HAVE MET MY WHOLE LIFE. THEY WOULD SCREAM AT YOUR FACE AND TREAT YOU AS YOU WERE COMING TO BEG FOR CHARITY. WHEN I WENT LAST WEEK, THERE WAS NO NUMBERS AND WE WERE ALREADY 10 PEOPLE. WE MANAGED TO KNOW EACH OTHER NUMBERS BUT GUESS WHAT, 20 PEOPLE CAME BY AND STILL NO NUMBERS AVAILABLE WHEN NUMBERS CAME IN, PEOPLE WERE JUMPING ON THEM LIKE SAVAGES AND INSTEAD OF 10TH, I WAS16TH THIS CLINIC'S SERVICE IS NOT CONFORM TO A FIRST WORLD COUNTRY STANDARDS, I WOULD SAY NOT EVEN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY STANDARD COMPLETE DISASTER #YOUMADEMEEVENSICKER

I would like to start by saying that I am a health care professional and I would not imagine treating anyone the way I have been treated at this place. I came to do an endovaginal ultrasound, which is in itself an uncomfortable procedure. I was greeted by the staff with a "Yes?" They looked like they hate their existence, the receptionist was literally talking to someone and saying that she is "sick of all this". They asked me to drink 1L of water before the procedure, which I did, but they were over 1h late and I tortured myself holding it in, worrying about peeing myself. I was finally called by the technician and accepted to have the resident assist him as I support learning. Worst mistake. She treated me like an object, commenting on the ultrasound, at some point shouting a diagnosis "It's clearly THIS, IT'S CLEARLY THAT". I was laying their uncomfortable, feeling like an experiment, holding my tears. When the ultrasound was done, I asked her to clarify what she was seeing and told her that I am a nurse. She looked surprised and immediately uncomfortable. Refused to give me more information as she said she is just a resident and kept looking at the technician for support. I am truly disappointed with how much she lacked professionalism and how this technician didn't intervene. I might be an interesting "case" for her, but health care employees need to remember that they are there to help people. I came out of there crying, with a possible diagnosis I had no information on and no resources for.

i am disgusted with the service here. my best friend who is 64 years old went for an appointment with dr turinek a few weeks ago for cortisone shots in the shoulder. he had a follow up appointment for 2 weeks later which was this passed monday. he went and wasted his time, sat down waiting for the doctor, only to be told after half an hour of waiting by a rude receptionist that “ oh he’s not here today. he has something come up. after he CAME AND WAITED, checked in etc. so they gave him a new appointment for this wednesday. his appointment was at 1:30. he sat for HOURS waiting. he tried asking the reception how much longer and she proceeded to be rude to him and another man waiting and said “i said sit down and wait. finally he sees the doctor, and his appointment was supposed to be for a second round of shots. he also asked about a skin tag he had. the doctor was barely paying attention, gave him a paper for a referral to remove the tag and walked away and closed the door. so my friend went and knocked on the door and said excuse me but i needed to talk about what i came for- the dr proceeded to say call and make an appointment and SHUT the door in his face a second time. He wasted his time monday. wasted his time today, and was also treated like trash. his first appointment , he told the rude nurse he was getting a cortisone shot- she replied rudely saying “ better you than me.” I AM DISGUSTED and will be filing a complaint on his behalf. this is beyond unacceptable .

I know the health care system in this country is broken, so my expectations, were low to begin with, but I came away with a decent experience, fast no, did I get treated yes.

The radiology Appointment system is impossible to navigate. They are incredibly disorganized. I faxed, emailed and brought my requisition to my first appointment when Required to have a follow up they claimed they did not have it. The waiting room is filled with people that are coming in person to ask questions because they cannot get any information on the phone. The staff here is focused on drama and rudeness that come before providing the medical services to help people feel better. They take their frustrations out on the undeserving patients. The receptionist goes on lunch with no replacement from 12-1pm while everyone waits with no instructions. The remaining staff has a fit if you ask them anything while she’s gone. Avoid this time slot for ultrasound appoints or x rays and this entire clinic if you can!

After paying 200$ (cash only), and waiting for 2+ hours (eventhough we took and appointment), the doctor saw us for 5 minutes, refused to do tests and diagnosis because my wife didn’t have a Medicare card, and told us to go the emergency to do the tests there. Waste of time and money, and good luck on having someone answering the phone, because when the emergency called, no one responded.

Horrible horrible experience! I took my mom to this clinic and their hostile and unprofessional behaviour left us feel horrible, shaken and maltreated. The nurse was super rude, asked me to speak faster because *patients were waiting outside!*. The doctor was unprofessional and agitated and after wasting our time said she cant do anything for us. I understand that the medical system in Canada is broken and health care professionals are overworked, but you are getting paid for what you do and you have absolutely no right to behave like that. If you hate your jobs, just leave and open up space for for por people who can be nice and professional!

Incredibly rude receptionists and nurses to start off the visit. I saw a fairly nice doctor, however she wouldn't give me the referrals I needed and said to ask my family doctor when I explained I didn't have a family doctor and needed to see a psychiatrist. I left feeling very hopeless and wish I never entered.

0 stars if I could, I should have trusted the reviews instead of actually wasting my time. It was my first time going to the urgent care clinic because after calling 811, that was the only available clinic for both my 11 month old and I. We've both been sick for over 2 weeks. First of all, the clinic has to be one of the oldest and dirtiest clinic I have ever stepped foot in. You have 0 privacy because they do not close any doors, whether it's the nurse or doctor. If you read the other reviews and read about a DR. who is rude and has had a case of fraud, well let me tell you that he is still practicing in the clinic and was very much rude and borderline scary. He came in and I knew who he was right away cause I had read the different horror stories about him on google and rated MD. He asked me to sit on the table and hold my son a certain way but apparently I was doing it wrong and he just grabbed my arm. I told him I wanted to see another doctor and that I was uncomfortable and he replies "why? Is it cause of my skin colour?" This was beyond me, I literally told him it has nothing to do with your colour (we are literally the same skin tone) but because of his reputation and that me giving him the benefit of the doubt was the worse thing I could've done for me or my son. I was seen by another doctor, but was prescribed an allergy spray and antibiotics for an "ear infection", bad cough and soar throat... which I didn't have (ear infection) and he prescribed my 11 month old pumps and a chamber, in which he didn't even need it. I'd rather stay sick then be seen by "health care professionals" at this place. Never again!

I visited this clinic on 2023-05-26 and had an unfortunate encounter with one of the nurses, whose behavior was highly unprofessional and left me feeling extremely disrespected and mistreated. During my appointment, I found the nurse to be impolite and aggressive in his demeanor. His hostility towards me was evident from the moment he learned that I had COVID-19. Instead of showing empathy or understanding, he appeared to be visibly angry and mumbled derogatory remarks about me and my illness. This kind of behavior is not only unbecoming of a healthcare professional but also highly inappropriate and disrespectful towards patients. Furthermore, the nurse's rough handling during the vital sign assessment was concerning. He exhibited a lack of care and gentleness while taking my blood pressure, oxygen levels, and temperature. I felt discomfort and unease as he forcefully handled the medical equipment. Moreover, he knocked several items on the table, which only added to my already distressing experience. When I asked him about his behavior, he responded rudely, stating, "I have no problem with you, just leave!" As a patient seeking medical care and support, I believe that it is my right to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. The behavior displayed by the nurse not only violated these basic principles but also failed to meet the standards of professionalism and patient care that I expected from this clinic. This incident has left me deeply dissatisfied and has shaken my trust in your healthcare facility. I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action to address the nurse's behavior. It is essential that you address this issue promptly and ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future. I strongly believe that all patients, regardless of their health condition, deserve to be treated with kindness, patience, and understanding. Additionally, I would appreciate a written response from your clinic addressing the steps that will be taken to address this issue and prevent similar incidents from happening again. I trust that you will handle this matter with the utmost seriousness it deserves and provide me with reassurance that my concerns have been addressed.

Today 23th of October 2022 l had appointment at 10:20am . However, one of the worker gave my place to someone who had not even reservation. Since they just were from same Color . When l objected he threatened me that he would cancel my appointment. The funny thing was that the other worker were backing him. I am so sorry we all fled our country here to not observe discrimination! I am so sorry for all who were working in that shift who refused to stand for my right. I wish the management could read this and could take action so that in future we wouldn’t see this offensive behaviour.

I had an appointment for a bone density scan. The admin staff were not very friendly and didn't even greet me. The first technician was fine and professional. However, the second technician, Ahmed, was very disrespectful when I had finished. I was tying my boot laces, and he was rushing me out. He even started to tell me how to carry them & put them on, as the dilapidated changing rooms were next door. I do understand the medical staff being busy & overworked, but that is no excuse for disrespect and rudeness. To note that my request was for the Royal Victoria Hospital, but I was outsourced here.

Never want to step foot here again. Staff called me to make an appointment and we’re incredibly rude, couldn’t even tell me if I would be under anesthesia and made it seem like it was asking too much to answer that question. Super rude, super slow. When I went in person a few years ago the staff made weird comments when my shirt was off… and doctors kept coming in and looking at me. Gross. Bad. Avoid.

So terrible service omg...there is a doctor we've met 3 times. Every time she spoke only technical terms and refused to substitute them. Whenever I could not understand her, she asked me to find an translator and refused to continue the conversation on the grounds that I couldn't communicate. How can??? How can a doctor do like that?? I move to Montreal from Vancouver, my friend who works in emergency couldn't believe it when she heard about it...She told me that, at least, doctors have an obligation to let patients understand what they're saying through body language or replacement words. Anyway, so rediculous experience...

Unorganized and rude staff working at the reception. Only good thing about this clinic is that it offers the option to pay $4.00 + tx in order to leave the clinic and receive notifications as to when your turn will be coming up. and even after that, be prepared to wait another hour or two. If you can, I would suggest you go somewhere else!

Avoid at all costs. Terrible organization, corruption left and right. The phone message states that patients should not present themselves personally at the clinic due to pandemic, as they operate only through the telemedicine at the moment. However when my husband was forced to actually go there, since the appointment registration website did not work and we were trying to get an appointment for 3 days for a baby, there were people coming as usual for walk-in, without appointment. Receptionist service rude, threatens people to call security while do the opposite of what they advertise. When my husband told them, he will have to call police for an investigation a manager came in and an appointment was discussed. Shady organization. However our family doctor is amazing. But the clinic is the worst in Canada.

I met one of the doctors in emergency for two times, I can’t believe how rude and nervous a doctor can be!!! He is not willing to answer any questions, reacting so rude. I told him I have a question. He said you are talking inappropriately , I asked why? He answered: You have to say can I ask a question please? Or do you have time to answer my question please? I said good bye and leave 😔😔😔

I just wanted to say thank you to the team, I couldn’t get an appointment yesterday but was offered one today and was seen quickly at the time of my appointment by Dre. Duchesneau who is efficient and professional. The triage nurse was so sweet (forgot her name unfortunately). The secretary staff was also kind. I think it’s important to highlight good wins in our saturated health care system.

Absolutely disgusting human being of a nurse that is receiving people today. Tall bald African American man., poorly bilingual and obnoxiously agressive in nature in his approach to people. Not only was he interrupting as I was asking questions it, he then proceeded to walk away. YOU ARE THE MEDICARE SYSTEM’S PROBLEM , people like you. I call to complain about said individual and am given the same attitude by another answering the phone calls. You all deserve to be fired. You chose to HELP people then you dismiss them and sit on your high horse. I WILL BE ESCALATING THIS TO YOUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MY GOAL IS YOUR JOB TO BE TAKEN FRON YOU. The health of individuals is in your hands and your audacity is appalling. I pray you never know what it is like to worry about anything medical.

The emergency clinic is one of the worst I’ve ever been too. I made an appointment on Bonjour sante and there is no regards for appointment since a walk in was seen before me. The triage was ok but the wait to see the doctor was terrible and his exam lasted 1 min. I will never set foot in this emergency clinic ever again. On a positive note the family medicine clinic is great.

Ignore the negative reviews: they must have listened and reorganized their staff because my experience was nothing like what I was expecting. First of all the receptionists must have changed because both of them were young and very pleasant. My wait time was a couple hours (which is reasonable for a Sunday morning) but my time with the doctor was efficient and I was ready with a proper prescription within 10 minutes. I believe her name was Dr. Tremblay, she was very kind and professional and really listened to me as described my symptoms. I do remember years back that this place did have a reputation for rude receptionists and hit-or-miss doctors so I'm happy that the Queen E responded to the feedback and changed staff!

After seeing one of the most unemphatic doctors concerning an ongoing issue, I had my file transferred to the wrong department of the clinic where I was urged several times to google another place to get the radiology service that they offer. I was left confused and without proper assistance with an issue that has been causing me pain for over a month. This establishment fails to uphold the standard values you'd expect from a Canadian hospital. If you're hurt, avoid adding insult to injury and dodge this bullet.

If I could have given a zero I would have. Have been going to this hospital for years. My primary family doctor closed her practice. I am left all alone to fend for myself. They have staff working with the offices bare,No one is interested in helping you. Couldn't be bothered. Went to see if I can see someone at the emergency clinic the receptionist was more worried that I was over the line when waiting to ask a question. No wonder so many doctors are leaving this place pretty dispicable. Dr. Roper you had a fabulous family medicine set up there, I've known you since I was a patient of yours at the MGH. I will never step foot in this place again. Hope you get shut down, your staff has no empathy, they are rude, not professional at all. But let's blame this all on COVID.hope none of you need any medical care.Karma

This is by far the worst walk-in clinic I have ever been to and I don't even know where to begin... Went with my 5 year old nephew. Right from the start, the receptionist was awful and incompetent (older woman with a very arrogant attitude). Did not listen to a word I told her. I had to tell her 3 times that I was here with my nephew and NOT with my son and that I myself did not need to see a doctor only my nephew. Shamed me for not having his medicare card on hand (had proof of medicare card with a photo and confirmation texts from both his parents) and shamed the parents for not being the ones present at the clinic. What does it matter if it's the parents or the aunt? The point is that a 5 year old child will be seen by a doctor. It doesn't matter who brings him. I'm not a stranger, he is my nephew. I'm simply bringing him to the clinic why is it so complicated? I tried to explain to her that the reason why I did not have his medicare card in my hands was because we were very rushed and that I was not planning on coming to this clinic at first but rather, a private one where the medicare card is not necessary. She could not even interact with me properly or explain anything with a minimum of respect. Waited 15 minutes just to speak to her, no one was in front of me. She was simply doing "paper work" for 15 minutes while I was waiting right in front of her. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!! The whole staff seems incompetent to be honest. I changed receptionist because I could not tolerate her foolishness. I waited 45 minutes at the reception and 3.5 hours in the waiting room and then another 40 minutes in another room for a 5 minute visit with the doctor. The employees were on their phones, texting and answering calls that had nothing to do with work, talking amongst each other about anything and everything, eating in the halls, looking like complete fools. Just a complete mess no wonder the reviews are horrible. Who is even supervising this clinic?? WE ARE PAYING FOR THIS NONSENSE THROUGH OUR TAXES!!! I am so ashamed of our public health system but especially this clinic. One doctor was complaining about private clinics to another patient, saying that she would never work at one and that she doesn't believe in that (she was also being rude to the patient she was discussing this about) but seriously, no wonder people go to private clinics? At least there you don't wait ridiculous hours, people are competent and priorities and respect are met. I am all for public clinics but NOT this one. There are far better public clinics than this one. Do not waste your time. If I could have taken a video of everything I saw that day I swear, it would have made headlines.

Worse place ever; I had a severe injury, first radiology people where very nice (only good point) but after they gave me my radiology on a CD that computer nowadays can't read... I really needed to see my radio so I came back but they just didn't care they just left me with a CD no one can read. Then I had to go to the emergency care; I came and the guy just yelled at me for no reason because I wanted to sit while waiting cause I was in pain but he did not care; Then even though I was crying because I was exhausted with all the pain and everything I had to wait 45 minutes in a small room for the doctor without anyone telling me what was going on; Ice and the cake, I ask for a certificate which they gave to me, and then the lady ask me for 20$ withtout telling me before...I'll never go back to that place for sure!

This is the worst clinic we have been to. I took my father who is 70 years old to do a medical check up (minor emergency) since he has high blood pressure and we do not have a family doctor. The nurses were EXTREMELY rude to him, rolling his eyes when my dad said he wants to show his medication to the doctor, telling him wait times are 12h so he can’t ask when his turn will be (even though we had an appointment), and refusing to tell him how many people were ahead of us. The doctor was extremely rude as well so we left without seeing the doctor.

My girlfriend had an appointment, as I waited in line with her we saw the front desk staff have an attitude and rude comments with every single patient. After getting past the front desk we wait for an hour after our appointment before finally being called into triage where the nurse was hugging the door. After hesitating noticing the nurse's weird stance, I let my girlfriend walk in with my hand placed on her back and the nurse immediately shuts the door on me and partially on my girlfriend as she aggressively tells me only the patient is allowed inside. A whole premeditated hostile act that served no purpose. I didn't want to cause a commotion despite the frustration so I patiently waited in the waiting room. As my girlfriend was transferred to a room to wait for the doctor I was again instructed not to enter the room with her despite her wishes I be with her as she was really not feeling well. I told her to text me and I went back to the waiting room only to wait a few minutes and still see no text. Thinking something is wrong, my girlfriend tells me she has no reception and feels terribly ill and thinks she is going to hurl as there is no air in the tiny room she was assigned to. She is unable to open the old closed door as it appears to be jammed. I hesitate as to whether I should leave the waiting room and enter the open hallway where patients are designated to their rooms as I was so aggressively told to not enter the area previously. Throughout this commotion, a different nurse finally notices our discussion and I am relieved as I assume he will open the door. Instead, shockingly, this nurse comes face to face with me and tells me I need to sit down. I attempt to explain the situation and he tells me if I do not sit down in the next few seconds he will call security. Again I try to explain the situation calmly but his frustration at life was not having it and he pushes past me physically, to walk into the waiting room only to see security was already there at the vending machine watching the whole situation unfold. As the nurse asks security to escort me out of the building he looks at the nurse shocked, like everyone else in the waiting room, and gives a small shrug of the shoulders. As the nurse realizes he is making a fool of himself, he tells the front desk to call the police. Maybe the front desk had seen this behavior before as they seemed to all to casually ignore his request, seeming unbothered. At this point my poor girlfriend was jerking the door trying to get out, not knowing what was going on as she could only hear the nurse's yells of aggression. Disgusting situation, disgusting behavior. The staff here wants to speak and treat everyone who walks in like children, never realizing that they are the children themselves. The nurse who was verbally aggressive and physical, a tall african-american man, was especially unique.

Some of the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. I called and spoke to a doctor who approved me to come in for the very simple procedure of having my ring cut off. I waited an hour in the exam room even though I was seemingly the only person there. I listened while the staff chatted and gossiped for an hour before finally asking how long it was going to be. After I asked, someone finally came in which gave me the impression I had been forgotten about. The nurse that came in (a middle-aged Black man who never introduced himself by name) had some of the worst beside manner I've ever experienced. He made one cut in the ring, made a weak attempt to pry it off, and then told me I would have to remove it myself. (Hey genius, if I could remove it myself, I wouldn't be here!) I kindly suggested he cut the ring again so it would be in two pieces and fall off. He then snarkily asked what I was going to do with the ring broken in two pieces. When I responded that the jeweller had assured me they could put it back together, his response was "oh, but they couldn't cut it off?" When I told him they weren't allowed to due to COVID-19, he responded "Oh, but we can?" I told him to take it up with the doctor who approved me to come in, to which he had no response. When he finally got the ring off, I was bleeding. He made no move to clean the wound and told me to leave. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I went to this hospital on July 17 because I don't have a family doctor. 2 persons with small health problems were admitted before me. When it was my turn, the person who talked to me coud hardly speak French. Even so, I explained my health problem in French and then he refused to receive me. He just gave me a card with a website url and told "Prenez rdv en ligne". The hospîtal was empty, with just medical doctors and nurses in the building so I wanted to take an appointment in that hospital and he told me " faites le en ligne". If you are a French speaker, find another clinic !

Worst walk-in clinic ever. The old lady at reception is just surly and argumentative, needs to be put out to pasture because not doing anyone any good. After asking to speak to someone else I still couldn't get a straight answer about getting treatment there, was handed a card with a website address on it and told someone would call me, still not sure how that works. Went immediately to St. Mary's and got treated there with no problems apart from having to wait. This happened twice in one month: disappointment at QE, hop a bus to St. Mary's. And the one doctor I did see at QE a couple years ago, I think his name was Roper, total burn out case, one of the worst doctors I've seen. They use a lot of new doctors here so you might have luck but basically not worth the trip. Avoid this clinic. They also do triage even though it's a clinic and not an ER, so you can enjoy watching new arrivals go ahead of you as you wait. They get nothing right here. Intake nurse takes frequent smoke breaks, demoralized staff, as bad as it gets.

i went there to so a doctor after a work ear injury(explosion) and by bad luck i contracted covid at the same time ! ive called to know the procedure and been told i had to go there , only to be declined examination later by the doctor , he didnt give me is name nor any paper and told me csst would take care of it afterward which was totaly false ! he should have gave me paper the proper way ive been told by the csst and now every expense link to this accident is at my own charge because its declared NOT an accident by the CSST(thank for the coverage after all the $ im paying you) it is now only a ''symptom'' acording to csst because this doctor didnt filled the paper properly ! I add perfect audition before and now my ear are still riging 4 month later and that concidered my own problem because its a commun problem to old people SHAME ON THIS UNPROFFESSIONAL DOCTOR SHAME ON CSST they're only there to make you believe they got your back if something happen at your hard working job but truly they just toss you away like a number ! i have a really good coverage (quebec construction one) i make really good salary and this still happen , it can happen to anyone

I invited a lady to my apartment today from the streets, because she was assaulted by a stranger and wanted an in-person visit to a clinic to collect bodily evidence and take a statement. The lady didn't want to go to ER for fear of 10+ hours of coronavirus exposure, and the police refused to send a cop car to take her to a police station, and so she called this clinic for help. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there are not supposed to be any in-person visits at Queen Elizabeth Health Complex, and they only take appointments. This lady called the clinic and the receptionist was incredibly rude and cruel. The lady merely wanted to know what she could do that could warrant a visit with a clinician today, and if she had other options. The clinician told the lady "not to guilt her" with her assault story and refused to help or be courteous. I did not appreciate the way the receptionist treated her, and I understand that everyone is stressed at this time because of the pandemic, but this lady was a literal victim of a crime today and did not deserve to be cast away by a person whose literal job is to assist her.

I’ve always had a good experience here every time I’ve visited. Today I truly was impressed by the QE Urgent Care Clinic when I brought my daughter to the clinic. The Secretary was very kind and I appreciated her efforts a lot. The nurse and doctor were also quick for how busy the clinic was. Thank you to the team here!

Extremely long and insane wait times. It is just baffling really. I get it it is the province we live in, every walk-in clinic has wait times but none of them as it like this extent. At a certain time of day the receptionists just had enough and just lost their manners. As for the whole building itself. It is good to see a whole wide range of health services under one roof everything from traditional to alternative medicine and everything in between. They should at least renovate and clean up the building a bit. I feel like I'm in one of those loony bins that you see in the movies.

I don't think it's the staff's fault, the place actually looks understaffed. Still, not pointing out an issue won't make it go away. I arrived at 7:20AM in a Tuesday and left 11:30AM. Got a 2-3 minute examination and a x-ray. All just to be told to get Advil. Before someone points out "if it wasn't serious, why did you go?", I did call 811 the day before and they told me to go. Conflicting info from both parties.

The staff is arrogant, different departments give different, conflicting information. They asked that I show up early to my appointment to then make me wait over 2 hours. I’m sure they face challenges and deal with unpleasant patients regularly, but there is an overall feeling of despair and lack of care in this hospital. It is also dirty and many of the rooms and spaces are very obsolete and not taken care of.

My family doctor is wonderful. Family Clinic. The reception staff is another story, although one older lady is quite nice. There used to be a young black girl there who seemed to care more about her appearance than helping. She is horrible at reception. Look at the family clinic picture of the 2 young receptionists. The one on the right is her and the other isn't much better.

I could have something seriosly wrong with me and the receptionist does not care , because of her i could have to wait longer and maybe i neeed urgent help

This time I went I got nice staff, the nurse saw me quickly, the doctor saw me quickly, think I got lucky on the timing. The receptionist was less than happy about the lack of an appointment but their website was confusing saying they are taking walk-ins and another page saying they aren't. I had tried calling for an appointment anyways but the directory didn't even have a "to make an appointment.. dial x number" option, just numbers to redial. The first option for any hospital should be to make an appointment, right? Anyways. When I got there I brought a mask and there were signs at the entrance saying to supply my own mask, I thought that was weird, it's a hospital they should enforce clean masks by making people put on a fresh one they supply. Upon entering I saw they do supply masks, despite the signs to supply your own. Beyond that, the experience was OK and fast, with friendly staff, albeit somewhat useless because I apparently needed a blood test and somehow this hospital doesn't do blood tests so they sent me to urgent care in another hospital, where the triage nurse did the same tests but not the xrays, in fact didn't even care about xrays. Seems redundant.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Service is rude and some staff have no regards for people’s time. The nurse who took charge of me (I believe her name is Lise) was extremely unprofessional. Nowhere does it say online you have to book an appointment prior so I had to come back later in the day and the nurse mentioned above gave me a specific time. I come back and the same nurse who gave me the time pushes my appointment by 40 mins without acknowledging she messed up the time of the first appointment!! No sorry or nothing. She also had the audacity to justify herself by saying: « oh well we’re booked right now » as if that was my problem… Horrible system and organisation. This clinic should really think about hiring younger people, these people working there now look stressed and purely miserable .

The receptionist doesn't even answer the phone. And when she does she puts you on hold instantly without letting you speak a word. I was on hold for a total of 50 minutes on 4 different calls, and still didn't manage to take an appointment. I called the URGENT line, 50 minutes on hold on an emergency line. Revolting that you would choose to work at a hospital and do your job so reluctantly.

Second time here - as bad as the last. They need more doctors. Staff generally seems to be overwhelmed and I think that contributes to a curt, dismissive, and unhelpful atmosphere from the doctors, nurses, and receptionists. Been waiting 3 hours having arrived exactly when it opened at 8am. So disappointed I actually decided to write my first review :P

A sad shadow of its former self, the Queen E Health Complex is a fading building in desperate need of a revamp, renovation, or better yet, a complete rebuild. Half-hearted attempts at revitalizing include two spanking new elevators (but the two older ones date back to the civil war). The best that can be said about the place is that the rent is really, really cheap.

Before Covid-19 I found clinic very good though wait time was hours, the doctors were actually able to solve the problem without a lot of delays and mix ups. After Covid-19 I got the run around when both Jean Coutu and myself tried to get a renewal for my prescription by a very condescending male receptionist who misunderstood what I was saying and for some reason he just assumed my previous appointment was made through the RVSQ website instead of just walking in last year before Covid-19. He told me to phone 811 to get website link to make appointment but he finally spelled out RVSQ for me in a very heavy accent so letter S sounded like X. The 811 system returns calls under PRIVATE identifier so you need to make sure it isn't blocked. The phone appointment worked well, doctor from aWest Island Clinic was knowledgeable and kind.

We had booked an app a day before and got a confirmation text message, when we got there, this impolite receptionist couldn’t find the app in their system and very rudely said go home and book another app for tomorrow. We waited there and finally saw the doctor because there was nobody else in the line!!!!!!!! Unbelievable how can people still keep their posts while they’re not qualified.

I had hives. I booked a phone consultation. A secretary and a nurse/assistant called me first. They were very kind. They asked me to send pictures of my skin to an email address so that the doctor could read before talking with me. Then the doctor was 1-hour late. I asked her if she had seen my email. Apparently she hadn't. She hung up the phone and went to read it. After a while she called back and started telling me what medicine she would prescribe, nothing else. It seemed that she wanted to end the consultation as soon as possible. I asked a few questions but according her answers it was clear that she didn't read the email but only looked at the pictures. I was diagnosed as having ringworm, but how could fungus infections be so sensitive to Loratadine? Also my pictures clearly showed that the symptoms were by no means like ringworm. Later the pharmacy called me to confirm the prescribed medicine, but they told me that they had difficulties preparing the medicine and needed to confirm with the doctor. Now it's the next day, I haven't received any follow-up call from the pharmacy.

30 years at the Roper clinic and QE family medicine. With multiple medical issues I was told 6 months ago my doctor was on a sabbatical and to try again in a month. After a month was told he was still away and to try again later.. Operator suggested I contact administrator. After leaving 2 messages I had no response. Now received a condescending letter saying the doctor was no longer practicing and I had to register for a new GP. The wait list has 800000 people on it. I'll probably die before getting a new GP. and to try again later in the month.

I don't know how to rate this place, I waited 3 hours for a simple urine test. At first she told me I and a urinary tract infection and then I have them another sample and she said it didn't contain leukocytes despite the fact the a blood test a few days before showed my white blood count was elevated. That was almost a month ago. I had the privilege of having someone in my circle who is a a Dr and she told me I clearly had a infection. I have gone been walking around with an infection for a lmost a month. I called the clinic to ask for for my urine results and they told me they don't give results over the phone. I recently returned to the Dr and my leukocytes are better and only slightly elevated and no Dr. wants to treat me. The health care system is terrible I have switched clinics and prefer the Herzl Clinc. The Doctors are more comprehensive and caring.

These nurses and doctors are surrounded by death and sickness and people are actually talking about "customer service"? considering the complaints revolve around people being talked too in a manner that they don't like or scheduling difficulties, I can't imagine how most of you would react to the conditions of working in the type of pressure cooker that these over worked healthcare workers are in, daily. My nurse and doctor were both very nice, my wait time was pretty short for a doctor's visit, and I got the prescription I needed. Thank you free health care! Grow up, snowflakes.

I suffer from GAD and depression. This center "forgot" to fax over my prescription to the pharmacist for renewal and dose increase. They not only deny responsibility, they told me to go back to Info-Santé, schedule a new appointment with a doctor, so that I can get a revised renewal. In the meantime I run out of medication tonight. You would think the center would have a greater sensitivity and avoid provoking anxious states in those that can least afford it.

This post is about the walk-in clinic and radiology Appointments for mammograms are available 7 days a week; you can also get bone density x-rays. There's free wifi while you wait, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There's 2 nearby bathrooms and a snack bar too your right as you enter the clinic on Marlowe. The walk-in clinic on the other hand is a long day of waiting. After providing your reason for being there the first wait to see the doctor could possibly have you waiting for 4 hours, then once you get into the examination room, there's at least another 30 minutes before the doctor appears. The clinics itself, isn't that clean, and it had a very tired look about the place and it's understaffed. The building houses doctors in various fields of medicine, as well as specialists. I should add that when I last visited the clinic 5 years ago, the QEHC had a paging service. So that once you took a number, you could go home, and then receive a text, when you're number was close to being called. I'm not sure if a fee was involved.

I was out for a jog, slipped on a wet leaf & fell. I thought I sprained my ankle badly. Waited until the next morning but it was super swollen so I decided to go to the Queen E since they have an xray machine & I suspected a fracture. I called and was given an appointment. Got there, there were only 2 other people waiting. After an hour and a half the dr sent me for xrays. No one at the xray center (apparently the receptionist/technician had gone for a smoke). He comes back, does the xray. I wait another half hour & the dr gives me a prescription for a walking boot & crutches, along with pain meds. I asked him twice if it was fractured, he kept beating around the bush, not giving me an answer. He said if it doesn't get better go see your family dr. 3 days later I got the call from my dr, yes it was a fracture. The Dr at this clinic couldn't even admit that he didn't know. Don't waste your time, go to a real clinic.

I have lived in NDG for 10 years now and this is my emergency clinic. Yes, the wait can be long, but as another person stated, this clinic has excellent opening hours and the doctors do see a large volume of patients. The nurses and doctors are very good. The reception staff can be a little cold at times but they are not unprofessional. I am happy we have this clinic in our neighbourhood.

(Translated by Google) Total incompetence! I had a phone appointment at 3:00 p.m. and the doctor never called me. The next day the receptionist told me, the doctor called you at 3:15 p.m. and you didn't take the call. I know it's impossible, I waited for the call until 9:00 p.m. and I got the caller ID ... so the doctor was paid for a consultation he never did, c 'unacceptable.

My personal experience was an impeccable one (given everything that’s going on right now especially). Nurse Angela and her assistant Felipe was most caring, kind, patient and understanding with me. They were thorough and detailed. I may have lucked out with these two kind MPs. When my appointment ended, I was lost and a kind Asian ethnicity staff who was leaving saw me and guided me. She was also friendly and warm. Grateful for all the kind people working here.

I agree with the majority of negative reviews here. Its true about the majority of employees at the front desk. I recently went there to pick up a scan reference from my Dr. there were 2 employees at the front desk ( one doing nothing ) . I stood there waiting close to 15 minutes before either spoke to me. , I also witnessed their mode of replying to patients calling in. One was answering the phone and as they always do, routinely put everyone on hold, and she was clearly doing nothing, after lying that it was busy there. I'm sure they are all paid a very good salary , and should be required to provide a much better and much more professional service. This it totally unacceptable.
