Had a medical emergency and the nurse told me to call brunswick and that they would fit me in somewhere at brunswick within 48 hours if I called them. Waited hours in the phone when someone finally picked up only to tell me to call back tomorrow at 730am to make an appointment because they wont do it Go through and wait to call them back at 730 am to find out their calls are being DROPPED after waiting an hour each time. Then I will have to wait for the next day all over again without ever getting anywhere. No wonder some ppl develop and die of cancer before even being able to make an appointment or see someone. Nice new 2022 equipment run by hobos and monkeys with terrible organization skills. Good to see our tax dollars being used efficiently.

I am absolutely OUTRAGED!!! Their Family Medicine calling system is rotten!!! They only allow to be on hold for 20 minutes, after the 20 minutes the phone hangs up. If you waited the whole 20 minutes and you are next in line they hang up. You call back and back at the end of the queue. I have been calling for over a week every day standing in the 20 minute line at least twice a day!!!! AN INCREDIBLE WASTE OF MY TIME and just to see a doctor about my health. I'd rather stay on hold once for two hours rather than trying every single day while at work. Whoever invented this system --> #%$@^&%$@#!

The secretaries in the Gastro department seriously need to double check the information they share with patients. The lack of knowledge and respect is very concerning! I was passed around like a yo-yo trying to get an appointment. I was told that because my specialist is on maternity leave that I needed to make an appointment with my family doctor and get a new referral to see a specialist, which was not true. I was told this more than once and because of this misinformation, I wasted months! And instead of owning up to their mistakes they point fingers at each other and speak down to the patient. I was even given the wrong information about the specialist replacing my doctor. They don’t seem to understand the important role they play, and how vital it is for them to relay the proper information. It’s peoples health at stake!

I’ve been trying to reach my family doctor to get an appointment for a week now. No one at reception ever picks up. Ever. The online booking system says that they’ll get back to you within 3 days. Clearly not. I’ve also tried booking emergency walk-in, they open new slots at 6pm every day. For 4 days in a row, at exactly 6pm, I tried to book a slot and they tell me to try again at 6pm the next day. A complete joke.

We had an appointment a 9:30 and were only seen 12:15 at the walk in clinic. The diagnosis from the doctor was only a couple of minutes. My son was told he was going to get a digital referral to a dermatologist. We called the next day to find out how and when and but were told that this is confidential information. And never got the digital. whatever it means. When they give an appointment, it should be respected and if not, the clinic should be getting a fine. This will bring our system back into order and avoid people waiting for hours in clinics and hospitals. Our time is just as valuable as any clinic or hospital. Because we are ill, we are considered as wanting the service and we will not fight back and this is causing our system to be in such a disarray. This was implemented in other countries and works tremendously finds do work.

I am grateful to be followed at the Brunswick Medical Centre for our family. The only problem I have is the phone lines. It's not worth waiting on the phone. A lot more needs to improve there. I always go in, in person to schedule my appointment and I get more headway with that. Another issue is the emergency medical clinic - they say to go online at 6pm. I do that and every time everything is filled up instantly no matter if I log on right at 6pm. I wonder who has the upper hand on that, but it makes no sense and never works out. Again, I go in person and explain that and they manage to fit my son in, in the next 24-36hrs. Good luck everyone! It's rough out there. Do it in kindness, respect and grace and we'll all get through this.

The receptionist is rude at the family medicine floor. There is no labels as to which receptionist works with which doctors. Find it inconvenient to get this service! It's a clinic with no instructions nor people to guide there patient to the right please. Waiting few mins to check in Waited 15mins for the receptionist to book an follow-up appointment. but the receptionist was not there so we left to call. From the beginning to the end the receptionist was NOT at the desk. As their job they should be there at the desk to register and follow up with the patient. Clinic deserve 1 star and less As per the family doctor. Definitely 5-STAR Very kind, listen to the issue and very patient.

It was my first time going to the walk-in here. Everyone was super friendly and professional. They do have a pretty long wait time but that seems to be normal for everywhere now. The doctor was excellent. Listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions.

Worst clinic ever. Unable to make appointment app glitches. No one picks up phone. I mean terrible for our aging population who is not as phone savvy as we are, if you get me. Im definitely venting but I’m not off the mark. This clinic has gone downhill the staff let’s not start. Service when have you ever got any. Call to speak to. Someone phone always overloaded overall a deathwish.

I would like to give such low score to this medical Center regarding to their mask policy. I had an appointment for emergency and I forgot to bring the mask because I was in hurry; I guess I won’t be the only one who could made this mistake. I saw other reviewers have already mentioned that the medical center failed to provide the mask and they insisted on the patients to demand the masks from Jean Coutu in first floor, but this Jean Coutu has been know as “white come, first service”.

Infuriating experience with the so called walk-in clinic. I have zero success booking online at 6:00pm evening before - its always full. Arriving in person at 7:15am yesterday to find it is equally infuriating since the clinic is already full for the day. So today, I arrived at 6:15am and was 8th in line when the doors opened to be offered an appointment later in the afternoon. Congratulations to those fortunate enough to have “magic computers” that can access an appointment. Please share your technique online!

Making appointments with my doctor in Family Medicine is fast and painless and I never have to wait long for an appointment. Confirmation of appointments are always sent by email so I can add them to my calendar. Dr. Abid is always on time and he is a wonderful caring doctor. His secretary calls to make follow up appointments so I don’t have to remember to do this myself. I feel well cared for by the Brunswick team.

I have 3 children who have all been seeing Dr Zaharia since birth and we couldn't be happier with him. He is so kind and thorough. My kids never stress about having to go to the doctor, they actually look forward to it! The nurses there are fantastic as well! Everyone is super kind and accommodating. Best pediatrician, we are lucky to have him!

I called around 10am and got a same day appointment to bring my baby girl to their children’s clinic, and they were fantastic! From both the receptionist in that clinic and the walk-in (I went to the wrong area at first) to the nurse and doctor, all were so nice, efficient and helpful! They were also great with my baby. We were in and out so quickly. I’m not sure how easy it would be to get a same day appointment for the adult clinic, but I would definitely try to come here if I need.

I got a referral from my family doctor. After a consult at their clinic, the specialist told me to try certain things and come back to see him if the pain got worse and I would not need a referral to see him again. A year later I call for an appointment and I get told “go get another referral, the doctor won’t get paid without one so he won’t see you”. She repeated twice that “the doctor needs to get paid”. They are clearly more concerned about money than their clients. I will definitely not be going back.

It is not walk in...why don't they upgrade their website? I went in there suggested by 811 and my insurance company...and the old lady there is so stone hearted. She had only two things to say- NO WALK IN. My son was not well and she did not even have the patience to listen..it's better to keep robots for such work rather than paying such cold stoned human beings. Do not fall for this place. It is NOT WALK IN.

With an appointment at the walk-in clinic, I was seen 2 hours after my appointment time. Why give an appointment if your going to be seen two hours later? And to top it off, the doctor prescribed me a nasal spray after suffering from this sinus cold for ten days! I won’t visit this clinic anymore. I must admit though that the nasal spray worked however the wait was much too long.

I was referred to the doctor through the system my family doctor added me to and I saw him with one week at the Lakeshore hospital. A week later I saw him at his Brunswick office to review an X-Ray of my finger, which had the issue. We agreed on surgery to treat the issue but Covid put a 4 month delay on the surgery at the Lasalle Hospital. I had surgery a week ago and the staff was very professional and the doctor was super and I had no issues with contacting him with questions following my surgery with a very quick response. There was absolutely no pain or discomfort after the surgery. Bandages come off tomorrow, cannot Waite to see the result.

My daughter had an appointment 9:30 am last Sunday, had the x-ray done also in Brunswick & instead of seeing the doctor right after, she was told we'll give you a call Tue. I didn't have a good feeling about that & that's what happened. We didn't receive any calls so we called Tue afternoon to be told the doctor isn't there & didn't leave a note for you so call 811 if you're not feeling well or schedule an appointmentat the walk in clinic for another day cause we're already full today. My daughter had to go to radiology to get the report herself. I find this unprofessional & time wasting.

Had a colonoscopy with them not too long ago and it was brilliant. Facilities were modern and clean, staff were so friendly and accommodating and the doctor was efficient and took the time to answer all of my questions. Highly recommend and can only say good things.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who thinks the blonde receptionist is very rude. Appalling how she got hired as a receptionist and that people must interact with her. Rude and no class! And I was polite and patient , imagine!

The receptionists are joke. I had a lot of bad experiences with them. Drs are very kind but hard to make an appointment. The receptionist told me wrong numbers on email so never reach right number and Dr’s appointment. They treat patients like trash even we are really polite to them.

The staff at this clinic have been absolutely wonderful. I couldn't ask for better treatment for myself or my new baby. Booking appointments is easy and there is always someone helpful to answer questions when I call. Overall great experience.

The clinic is nice and clean and well equipped but the actual mobile app still needs a bit of work. Scheduling or cancelling appointments through the app does not work. Getting a hold of a real person on the phone to schedule or cancel these appointments is difficult - the wait time to speak to someone is very long.

I gave them 2 stars for my experience. I called and was able to have an appointment same day but the thing is, I waited 55 minutes to see the doctor but there were some patients who just came in, were called before me. I was coughing hard and knew that I had phlegm. I took a covid test before going there and tested negative but the doctor said after the check up that I had to drink more water. I know something is not right so I went to see a pharmacist and she gave me Bronchophan which helps me with my cough. Waste of time and energy and the Doctor was so incompetent.

Big medical center with a tiny parking. When prescription or just a letter is left it is sometimes with the guard, sometimes with doctor's secretary, not a nice person really, or reception of specific section. So you have to come, fight to find parking then queue 3 times if not more just to get a paper. When requested an electronic copy, a scan, I am told they don't have a scanner. What? All other specialists and clinics are using scans and sending pdf for a future appointments or exams. In the era of 21 century and post COVID, we have to drive specifically to get there, park, then be told the secretary isn't there. Not sure if they have noticed but we now all have an online Health portal which my doctors and I can access. It should be pretty easy to transmit any info in a secure way using the portal.

Worst. Clinic. Ever...in an already broken system. I've had better, more modern care in a third world country. App broken. Phone wait times are hours. Recommendations are...bizarre and decades outdated. Recently, after 7-hours of trying to get through, offered an appointment months in advance for an emergency referral that should take 5-mins. Instead, I drove to Ontario for care. Do yourself a favour and go to Ontario or the US where the health system is better. Quebec pays for it.

I have been a patient for 20+ years at the Brunswick Medical Center. I have been to the walk-in clinic, have a GP, GYN, Dermatologist and Nurse Practitioner. The offices are always clean. Everyone from the Professionals to the support staff have always been professional. Carla is so helpful, she is amazing.

We went there for my wife and at the time all went well. We had to make a follow up appointment with MGH but there I was told they never received the file. The receptionist at the Brunswick Medical Center basically told us it was not their problem, claimed they sent it. Again contacted MGH who told me they did not have such a file. Called the Brunswick Center again, with the receptionist telling me 'she would not have this conversation again' and hanging up, even blocking our number. Weeks later the hospital located the file.

My son’s doctor is here and this year was my first time visiting this clinic. I have to say I was super impressed. I mean, there’s a Starbucks on the way in! And a pharmacy. The building itself is very clean and looks new. I go to pediatrics and I absolutely appreciate that there is a tv that plays kids movies while we wait! The wait is also never too long like at other clinics and everyone is so friendly. Now if only I can get myself a doctor in there I’m set!

I moved from the WI & changed the gyno from Dr Biem. After trying 2 other gynos I quickly begged if Sandra would take me back. I am so grateful that she did & I now have the best care for me. Dr Biem does not rush you & listens to your concerns & is always up to date with the latest medical options. Love her! Worth the drive, even if I'm not in the WI anymore but live in Longueuil :)

I've never experienced, in Canada, such an excellent medical facility -- it was unreal. I'm not used to the space, attention, level of care, zero wait time. The doctor and nurses were not rushed, and it felt as if I was the only one in the section -- didn't hear or see anyone. Even the toilets were huge and had hotel-like extras. And this is not a private clinic... that was the amazing part. Maybe it's only that department (gastro) but can't recommend too highly.

I haven't been going this clinic for more than 4 years, there is big change now. In children clinic, I only need to present the medical card for reservation without being asked a lot of questions like before, from the receptionist to nurse and doctor in children clinic, everyone are so nice with great patience. It is great experience.

Although it is hard to find a Dr here and to get an appointment by phone I still give 5 stars because the way you feel once you are in the family medicine section or the children's clinic it is just amazing. Great Drs, nurses and staff in general, they are patient, always with a smile even on days when they are extremely swamped. These people are professionals! Just be patient when waiting on the phone, and try again if you go to voicemail, it is totally worth it!

My family physician of several years works from Brunswick Medical Clinic. I am always able to get an appointment with her within a very reasonable time. She and her team are efficient and considerate, and do a very good job of managing appointment times. My physician will do everything she can to get to the bottom of an issue, and doesn’t hesitate to refer to a specialist if she thinks it is warranted. She listens carefully and takes notes throughout the consultation. She has helped me a great deal, and both my husband and I treasure her.

Had to wait for my dr, over 2 hours, but I normally never do. It's a female doctor for female things if you know what I mean, so it's a very good chance she could have possibly been behind schedule due to a delivery. I never usually wait when I go for an appointment there unless it's a walk-in clinic but that's expected. Apart from the rest of it I have no problems with the medical center at all when I go for X-rays or scans or whatever it may be via Medica is excellent there there's no way to have your appointment and it's a standard waiting time for an appointment usually within 10 minutes or so. So I really don't think there's anything wrong with that it all depends on which doctor you're seeing again walk-in clinics you can't really predict based on you don't know what people have before you or what is wrong or how long it'll take so I can't really say anything bad about the wait for the walk-in clinic except that if you really want to get an appointment you have to show up at like 7:00 in the morning even though they're not open. It's impossible to book online even though it says to call at 7:00 p.m. the night before but you'll never get an appointment the reception is Steven say the same thing that you're better off showing up. But I mean that's with every walk-in clinic these days just like er's these days it's impossible with 48 hour weeks so I would say this is a lot better than that! The only problem with the center I find is the parking because it's not really well known that there is in fact parking in the back, and if you're trying to park in the front it's basically impossible to find the spot. But to let everybody know there is parking in the back and a door to get in through the back so there should be no problem! I have a few doctors there that I've seen and I haven't had waiting problems again it all depends on which doctor you're seeing which type, I mean if it's for female things sometimes there's incidents that occur that are out of the doctors control but normally I would say most of the professionals there are pretty punctual. Parking is free and there is a Starbucks there and a drugstore so you're all set to go, and if worse comes to worst and you're told you have a 2-hour wait at the walk-in clinic Fairview shopping mall is just across the street so you can spend some time there and just come back.

Newly renovated facility. Staff is very friendly at the pediatric center. When I have to take an appointment for sick kid they always take me in within 24hrs or same day. Waiting time is very reasonable for the Dr. to see you.

I called my GP Dr. Hachachena for a referral for knee pain. The secretary was great, gave me an appointment the next day to see NP Sandeep Patel. I waited about 5 minutes before being seen. After a 15 minute assessment I was sent for x-rays. I went to Via Medica on the first floor, waited another 10 minutes and got my x-rays done. Back at work within an hour. Fantastic service. Covid has given us one good thing; less waiting and way more organized.
