Had an appointment there to start an anxiety therapy. They gave me the wrong date and only told me so after I waited over an hour then refused to give me a new appointment. They are crazier than the patients I swear.

I called for some information concerning a mentally ill family member and they couldn't even advise me. They kept telling me to call the hospital in my sector and I repeated to them that they aren't doing anything to help. They said that's how it is and I need to be OK with that. Not even a pinch of advice..... they really don't care.

After their treatment you will be even more depressed than at the beginning. When you tell the truth, they will get angry and deprive you of services saying that you are too complicated a patient for them. Doctors themselves need psychological help, as a minimum with their self-esteem problems. The heroes who will help in suicide even if before their "help" you had no such ideas.

My experience going to the emergency department was very poor, I was treated with disdain by the security guard which refuses me services because I had my cell phone.... A tool I used to record my thoughts because I have memory problems. Very disappointed

I wish I could give a zero. This institution's practices need to be investigated at all levels. They deal with some of the most vulnerable people in our society with the lowest standard possible. My advice is to never accept their opinions at face value. ALWAYS ALWAYS GET SECOND AND THIRD AND FOURTH OPINION ELSWHERE!! Never let them dictate your treatmeant plan. It is outrageous that they can enforce a plan of care through a court order. NO PERSON in Canada should be forced to be subjected to a treatment plan they do not want. In fact, laws of Canada DO NOT ALLOW for anyone to take your right to consent to medical treatment. YET somehow that right to consent is taken away from mental health patients. THIS IS OUTRIGHT DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOLE WITH THESE KINDS OF DISABILITIES. NO Canadian should accept that, especially given the fact that THERE ARE NO ACURATE TESTS that can measure mental health. All testing depends on human judgement. So basically, if you have an incompetent, lazy doctor, and a family member who does not like you and would be happy to testify that you are crazy they actually use that as evidence!! These tests dont take into account human error or person's relationships dynamics. They are only concerned with completing reports and moving on to the next person. Meanwhile the law actually allow for these reports to be admissable in court, and could possibly send you to a mental health instituation for whatever long they want. I am appaled that such a system exists in our country. This approach had failed and deprived an 82 year old man of 1.5 year of his life. He was forced by the court to be forced to stay at mental institution even though he is completely normal. But of course this so called institute of mental health had replied heavily on a testimony from his son, who is pure evil to say the least. No only did they subject him to a confined environment but also to be forced to take SEVERAL psychiatric medications. Can you beleive that? An 82 year old frail man is being subjected to take about 15 pills a day!! Is that humane? AND once they send them to these forced confinments, no one cares, they just forget about them. This is unacceptable and outright violation if you consider our constitutional rights! I am here to warn you to make sure you never JUST ACCEPT their opinion conerning your mental health! ALWAYS ALWAYS GET OTHER INDEPENDENT MEDICAL OPINIONS AND NEVER PROVIDE THEM WITH FAMILY MEMBERS TO CONTACT THAT YOU ARE DOUBTUL ABOUT. UNFORTUNATLEY PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR VULNERABLE SITUATIONS, EVEN FAMILY MEMBERS. SO PLEASE PLEASE REFER THEM TO ANYONE THAT YOU TRULY TRUST THEY HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST IN MND. AND PLEASE ALWAYS KNOW YOUR OPTIONS SO DO SOME RESEARCH AND DON'T HAND YOURSELF AND YOUR FUTURE TO THESE INCOMPETENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS. THEY CAN LITTERLY DESTROY YOUR LIFE! AND PLEASE PLEASE, IF YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FILE A COMPLAINT WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING NOT RIGHT. AND ALSO IF YOU HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE LAWS THAT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. THERE IS SIMPLY NO PLACE FOR THESE BARBARIC, DISCRMINATORY LAWS IN OUR SOCIETY. NO ONE SHOULD BE PERMITTED TO ENFORCE THEIR OPNIONS CONCERNING YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR BODILY INTEGRITY! OH, AND IN ALL THIS, I DINT EVEN TOUCH ON THE POOR SERVICES BY STAFF AND THE OUTRIGHT DENIAL OF OFFERING SERIVES IN ENGLISH TO THOSE WHO NEED IT. COMPLETLY UNACCEPTABLE!

I came today because I was in mental distress, and I came with my friend, because I forced her to consult at the same time as me. And I have my file there and we were refused entry...I had the motivation to come and get help, finally, to get help. But now that I have been refused I no longer want to return to another hospital, I had this motivation in me that now I no longer have….I even burst into tears in front of the hospital… .I am really discouraged by our health system, all because I do not live in the neighborhood but I still have my file open with you with my address which is outside the neighborhood I am discouraged….

(Translated by Google) This hospital still gives "electric shock treatments", which makes the person who receives them sick, without energy, tired. In addition to giving black thoughts, and the desire to go to bed 24 hours a day. The person who receives this kind of inhuman care constantly has the impression that they (the "caregivers?") Want to kill her. Which gives an idea of imminent death. There are some who do not even have a simple rocking chair in their room, to rest a little.

Don't take anyone to this place. If you want to see your family member mistreated and have then misdiagnosed to justify giving them some very nasty pills. Stay away from this place, and find mental help elsewhere. Let me tell you the side effects that these pills cause will make the person say just what they want to hear to keep the person in there. I pray for anyone who needs help with mental problems, but this place is worse than a jail. The tactis used on patients are things they used in wars. Beyond disgusted. The staff should be evaluated by a psychiatrist.

(Translated by Google) I was turned over from psychiatrist to psychiatrist for 3 years before having ongoing therapy with a psychiatrist called Sonia Trudeau. This psychiatrist was kind and human. I had it for 3 years. She saved my life. Otherwise, I'm really not impressed.

(Translated by Google) I just left, not long ago, and the workers need more care than the patients. Frankly ! I did see that UFO, and if you haven't seen it, you're the one who needs treatment!

I was at the hôpital a few days ago and some préposé said to me: « t’es folle » and also « Jesus ne t’aime pas». All I did was spend too much time ont the toilet because my piss wasn’t coming out ....anyway, It’s just so funny how bitter the devil can be ...hehe ....I never saw this lady before in my life but it makes sense that she said those things because she looked completely miserable herself even though I was the “patient” ... I’m glad to love myself enough and have enough inner peace not to go around treating ppl like this....but I do believe it is a very evil world, but if you have understanding you will have the capacity to thrive in it ...But plz lady...stop spreading your deplorable attitude into the world, the world needs less people like you (not more...) and the last place you need to work at is a hospital... Oh and Jesus does love me ...he always did and always will...:)

Went here for emergency a few months ago for depression and trauma. The staff (nurses, security guards) in emergency that took care of me and watched me were kind, attentive, and understanding even while I was suffering heavy delusions. I was then transferred to a unit upstairs where conditions were calmer and better, although some baths were unrenovated and only had cold water. It was a little difficult to communicate in French as I am anglophone, but the psychiatrists and some nurses spoke English. I am grateful for the staff as they were there to answer my questions and provide me with what I needed. A special mention to a nurse who was attentive to my dietary needs for a brief stomach issue. The nurses also urged me to not socially isolate and they helped increase my confidence. I was given good resources to continue along my recovery upon my discharge. I believe that communicating to the nurses continuously and pushing myself to adhere to the schedule and routine help me recover.

Having been treated here I do not recommend in any way this is a place where psychiatrists are sold on injections making no effort to find a human side the food is very little nutritious and varied very little recommendable for a good recovery sought elsewhere.

😠 If there was an option to give 0 stars for this, I would have given that. I was in emergency department in September, last year. I explained the situation to the doctors as well as nurses in that department that I do not have a medicare at the moment but I have applied for it and showed them the con...
