People are hurts and there's no one to take care of them. People are sitting there, waiting. Between this hours of wait, I saw 2 doctors passing by, didnt... People often mention hospital, time, hours, staff, doctor, emergency, care, patients, pain, front,

If anyone who is taking an ambulance, do ask or get someone to ask whether you will be going to this unprofessional facility, that also discriminate anglophones. This uncaring and rude attitude that nurses and other stuffs carry is unacceptable. The kind of treatment that I've received is disgusting, and how did they even became nurses to serve and care for people. when they treat patients worst than animals. maybe I had the bad luck or the wrong day to go to this hospital, but it is very sad to know that there will be others like me who will go there and experience this kind of treatment. how in the world they can be so rude knowing people are sick and having pain is what i want to know. I think its about time that Quebecois start to treat anglophones better.

Very bad experience. I came in with a screw stuck in my foot, the nurses gathered to stare and joke about it without providing me with normal health care. I waited 10 hours in the hospital for it to be removed, they did not give me efficient pain killers, they forgot to clean the cut after having removed it ( i had to ask the nurse while she was doing my bandage, whom gave me a lot of attitude!!). The doctor and the nurses were absolutely incompetent! Do not go there for emergencies it will only make your problem worse! Worst hospital I have ever seen!!

I have a kid... so I am freaking out what I do I double check so I go to another clinic that check these things and I ne er had HIV /Sida. Immagine I should have suit them, immagine I had a wife with me and u told her u have HIV... but it's that serious guys I traveled the world to end up here in Montréal and get a service on the health system that it's worst than some 4th world country. I personally I wish these kind of hospital to update and get better and functional !!! I am disgusted

Went in on a Sunday afternoon, no lines. Was in and out in 10 minutes. The staff was really efficient and nice. As an American trying to get back home they handled the process easy for me. The results should be back in 1-5 days *Update: Got my results back on Tuesday afternoon!

I have treatments here every 2 weeks, same time, same place, same procedure. Twice now the staff hasn't known what they're supposed to do and I've had to explain it to them. In addition, each time I've ended up waiting longer and longer to have my treatment. This week, I've spent 4 hours in a cold waiting room with a plug in my arm watching my day get wasted. Only to find out that they gave my treatment to another patient and forgot to get more.

The doctor who was checking my symptoms and giving me prescriptions was professional. He knew exactly what I needed. However my experience was not 100% happy. First, the workers at the front desk spelled my name wrong on the blue profile card and they didn't want to give me a new one. Second, only a few workers in this hospital speak both English and French, the others speak French only. Third, I waited in the "emergency" waiting area for 8 hours until a doc finally showed up. That was some "golden" 1k dollar experience.

(Translated by Google) Meet at 9:30 a.m. Hôtel-Dieu with physiatrist Christopher Mares on the 6th floor. Young resident who asks questions and feels in front and back. Very thorough and professional. Preparation, she writes everything for my report. I submit a diagram locating my pain that she keeps. Then, meeting with Dr Mares, radiologist François and the resident in an ultra well equipped and clean office. Nice warm welcome where the Dr wants to know, wants to help and find the problem by taking his time. Then explains to me his scientific path, his theory: it is either 1- local, 2- referred, 3- nerve. After palpations and very specific questions, he opts for 2: referred and proceeds to infiltrations in 3 places of the spine (vertebrae 11, 12 and 13) which correspond with my pain in the front and left side under the ribs. THRILLING! I shook my trembling hands so much the pain could at times be intense. However, I believe that he put "the finger on the sore" because during this procedure, the infiltrations in the column, the pain radiated to the front, under the ribs (referred). After several months of examinations, meetings with specialists and everything, I KNOW that HIM has finally found the cause of my illness. I therefore once again express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Christopher Mares and his team at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Montreal. I am infinitely grateful to him - to them. I think the whole thing will heal in the near future…

Definitely better than the Notre Dame Hospital on Sherbrooke. When I went in for a asthma attack, the Francophone nurses were quite rude at reception. But everyone else took very good care of me and was very thorough.

In 2012, I fell on the street and injured my right knee badly. I did not want to go to a hospital but the paramedics insisted and brought me to Hotel Dieu. I was placed in the hospital and waited to see a doctor and to have x-rays done. Then I had to pee but could not walk. They gave me a bed pan and did not remove it for hours until the doctor came to me and I asked her to remove it. I was in there for 8 hours until I had x-rays done. The second time I had to go to the bathroom, I decided to get off the bed and walk with my good leg. I passed orderlies just laughing at me. What a nightmare! The doctor was professional but the staff should all get the COVID-19 virus and die!

Currently this place does the covid 19 testing without any appointment. But before reaching here every one needs to register for covid testing in quebec.ca website. They do testing and release the results within hours if you have symptoms..

(Translated by Google) Easy access! Easy parking .. my appointment was March 16, 10:15 ... I left at 11:30 without having had my consultation .. I don't mind that this physiatrist takes all her time with each patient but we giving appointments every 15 minutes is not respecting patients .. a 90-year-old man in a wheelchair waited as much or more than me for the same physiatrist, he was still there waiting when I left ..... how many patients can she receive in a day at this rate? A staff person confirmed to me that this was the way this physiatrist operated despite clients complaining... (Original) Facile d'accès! Une personne du personnel m'a confirmé que c'était sa façon dont cette physiatre fonctionnait en dépit des clients qui se plaignent ...

They looking at every women passing in front of them, head to toes. Like seriously.... you guys have to take your carrier more respectful and serious. It doesn't make any sense. There was an elderly person reported by an ambulance at the same time as us, with a condition severe enough to be placed in the emergency room. But no one has occupied it. It's ridiculous.

Broke my humerus, clavicle, acronym joint and scapula. Dr. Tetrault was my attending surgeon. 3 months later I have recovered exceedingly well and improve everyday. Words can not describe my gratitude or the level of care provided.

I am a cancer patient and I must admit that my experience at the CHUM cannot be better. I spoke with different French and English patients on the two occasions, one for treatment and for follow up and all I heard from these are praise about the staff and the medical people. The only little complaint I have heard is about the size of this gigantic hospital, however there are friendly guides at all floor levels who are eager to offer assistance at all time.
