It's a real shame that the receptionists here (on the 2nd floor) don't have any human decency. They have the utmost contempt for anyone showing up at their booth. I am so sorry to have to inconvenience you with my mere presence! Let alone if I utter a word or god forbid a sentence! Don't even think about asking them a question! Unprofessional, rude and bitter are the choice words to describe them! Google won't let me use the other more flavorful language I'd prefer to describe them with.

The doctors and nurses at the clinic are very nice. The receptionists (the ones I've interacted with) are rude, incredibly unhelpful, I understand they deal with sick people all day but they could at least try to understand that their booking system is an absolutely pile of trash. I ended up having to go to the hospital to be seen for something that originally would've been a simple round of antibiotics. It is impossible to get an appointment with my family doctor through their booking system or with anyone else, no one answers the phone or responds to voicemails. The only way to get an appointment with my doctor is over the phone (which they do not answer) or show up in person to book an appointment. Every single online option no matter what you do says there are no availabilities, even for a follow-up that is required weeks in advance. I don't know who implemented this horrendous booking system and who is in charge of hiring the bitter receptionists but they should be fired. This clinic is poorly managed.

Rendez-vous sante is broken and can never get you an appointment. They are rude and other than shuffling papers for the doctors, I don't see their use other than to reject people at the door. Either the system is broken or they are the worst clinique I've seen.

My family doctor is at this clinic and I don’t have any issue with him other than he forgets to call me for appointments, the nurses have also been nice, but the service and receptionists are by far the most condescending and rude I’ve ever come across at any clinic or hospital, and I’ve worked and visited many. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and they are consistently mean to almost everyone, not just me, before you even get a chance to speak. I have been looking to change clinics just because of the awful culture at reception.

My family doctor works there and he is fantastic. This rating does not reflect him whatsoever. The receptionists with whom I've spoken with are relatively unfriendly and unprofessional -bordering on hostile. I made an attempt to see if there might be another availability, other than the one I had been offered originally. The original time worked better and so I asked if it would be possible to go with that one. Big mistake. One receptionist told me that the day in which the original appointment offered, was not open for booking yet, while another told me that it was too late and it was all booked up. When I tried to explain my confusion to either receptionist, they rapidly spoke through me and wouldn't let me finish a sentence. They hung up on me countless times. I remained polite throughout and calmly asked if they could be polite as well. I asked if they could slow down their speech so that I could understand. I asked if I could get my full sentence out. The entire time I was met with impatience and hostility and finally, hung up on again. All this to say, I never got through to my doctor and am uncomfortable to call back.

I'm only giving 1 star because I can't give zero. In complete honesty, the only thing that was good about the clinic was the nurse. The rest wasn't just bad or disappointing - it was appalling. I'm still considering making a formal complaint. The dr I saw provided the worst care I can remember ever receiving. He was completely uninterested in dealing with me, he was determined to dump me unto someone else. He took the easiest excuse to shut down my issue & just like that it was decided that it was settled. It didn't matter to him that my legitimate questions were not addressed in any way by his 'diagnosis', he barely even bothered to look at what I was saying. If your problem is in the genital area, it only makes sense that a Dr would do a quick exam - nope, 2min just lying on my back, not even using stirrups and he'd decided it was herpes - (it's not, more on that later) which I let him swab assuming we would move on to the actual reason I was there and in pain for over 1 month. No, Dr was done. I have never felt so badly treated by a doctor and still can't believe that he saw me sobbing before I even had my pants back on, sobbing sitting in front of him. He said I seemed upset about something, like it was really confusing to him. I tried to explain but you know when someone really doesn't actually care, they asked because they felt they had to, it's a waste of time. I left his office sobbing, stood at the reception waiting to give my sample and referral - still sobbing. Was told the wait was 6 months for an appointment. I left still sobbing and continued in the lobby for another 10min. I'm not prone to over the top reactions, I was completely crushed, hopeless about the pain and in disbelief that I'd received no actual medical care and that the whole staff saw how upset I was and not a single person tried to calm me down or find out what was wrong. A couple of days later I went to a different clinic for regular sti screening & I told the nurse about what I had experienced & she was not only appalled but she was visibly angry for me that: a) I'd been treated that way b) what she saw looked nothing like herpes (Dr confirmed later on as well) but they still tested it c) that I'd been given a almost confirmed diagnosis of herpes yet given no information, no support, no follow up, which she deemed unprofessional, if not unethical. I received the results from the 2nd clinic (of course, negative) over a week ago. To this day, I have heard nothing from the Monk clinic about any results. How is this acceptable? I'm not even able to fully explain just how awful the care I received truly was. Whatever you get from this review, multiply that by 20 and you're getting closer. This Dr should not be treating anyone. He has a duty of care, he's responsible for investigating at least a little, considering differential diagnosis, at least make some effort. He made none. And I have a right to receive competent care. I DID NOT. Still considering formal complaint. Total fail, never go there. This is by far the worst review I have ever written and its still not enough. Update: it's been close to 6 months and I have never heard back from the clinic about my results. Good thing I went and got tested elsewhere.

Came in for urgent appointment, talked to the receptionists and they kept asking me to go online and register. The did not tell me that they do not have any appointments for the day. I waited there for half an hour trying to book an appointment without any luck. Both the receptionists were absolutely rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Finally was able to find an appointment for a day later for 11AM came to the clinic at 10:50, did not see the doctor until 11:45. Why make me book an appointment when you are going to make people wait anyway. I work at noon, so now I have to explain to my manager why I did not show up on time. Food for thought, If I miss or show up late for an appointment, I am liable for cancellation charges, what happens when the provider misses the appointment?

If you have no family doctor like me and are assigned to have an appointment randomly with Dr Gia Nguyen, don’t go and just cancel it! She was rude and impatient, and to make it worse, she mistreated my little child who apparently had fever for days and severe inflammation in the ears, and refused to give him any antibiotic. In the end, he was still very sick and I took him to see another paediatrician who prescribed antibiotics to my kid and he recovered very quickly. The two receptionists (two women both with long hair and no glasses) are rude and lazy. Even if they clearly see you coming and stand in the queue, they will still ignore you unless you stand right in front of their faces. From their faces and attitude treating all patients, you can tell they clearly hate their jobs. Please quit if you hate your jobs so much and don’t pass your misery or anger to patients that come to the clinic for help.

This Clinique is in a nice new building with young staff. If you have your family Dr there, you can always benefit from going to their walking clinic without any appointments. They also have an online website to book the appointment. There is lots of parking in front of the clinic with the pharmacy at the ground floor. I really like the nurses and Drs there. Thanks for helping us.

I had a really bad experience. I came just a week ago and they issued masks at the entrance. I came for a follow up appointment and they did not so I said I didn’t have one because last time they gave me one and not something you frequently carry with you day to day anymore. I was refused to be given a mask (of course they have them behind the counter) I informed her that my wallet was stolen, I even showed the lady on the desk my police report which is why I did not have any money on me to go buy a mask which I would have of course done otherwise. I also understand French is important (and do speak French as well) but the lady on the reception spoke English to me the entire beginning of our conversation and when I tried pleading with her to give me a mask to not miss my appointment she suddenly switched to French to make a point. It was clearly a power play and not something that you appreciate when you’re a patient in pain trying to be helped. I had to leave without getting help and will have to go through the system again as usual when waiting for a family doctor for over 3 years. Extremely disappointed in the attitude. Not surprised at all by the 2.5 stars which seems to be caused by the reception staff and not the doctors or nurses who were lovely the past times I came.

I love Dr. Garneau-Holiday so I wouldn't go anywhere else but the reception for this clinic is just awful. I've been trying to book an appointment for a week now with no success. No one answers the phone, so I've left several messages. Someone called me 3 days after my initial voicemail to tell me that the only way to book was online and he unfortunately can't help me. He hung up on me before I could explained that I had already tried. My doctor is on maternity leave and I am unable to book online. I've been trying to book this appointment for my 6 month old daughter since Monday. It is now Thursday night.

I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. Dr Gia (I can’t remember her last name) is literally the best doctor I have ever dealt with. She is the ONLY doctor, who took the time to call me back and follow up to see how I was feeling. Once I told her I wasn’t we’ll, she did everything she can to ensure I get prescriptions and to actually make sure and care about my well being and ask all the right questions and take the time to explain everything clearly. Honestly if I can give her 20 stars, I would. They don’t make doctors like her anymore.

    * Sarcastically * Thank you for Ignoring my girlfriend's crying for help about her right eye pain, she suffers from every second of the day for the last 2 years. ... thank you Dr. Y.J. for not taking it seriously. We found Rong dead in her garage, hanging by a rope around her neck because you and many more doctors and specialists failed listening to her. Shame on you and all of your kind.. doctors who are not willing to help heal hard cases but prefer easy cases. Friday Nov. 25 2022 5h45pm was her last appointment with you.

This place is the worst clinic. I called and she told me she cant give me an appointment because i havent seen my doc in a year and proceeded to tell me i have to call 811. Called 811 and they confirmed me i have to deal with my clinic, which is sadly this rat hole. I called back the clinic, they hung up on me. Literally just hung up. I will NEVER put feet in there again. Receptionist was so rude ive never seen this before in a health place.

First off, my family doctor is great and so are the nurses. This review doesn’t reflect the medical staff. That being said, the reception and service at this clinic are horrible. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, they don’t return voicemails and they are extremely rude and unprofessional when you do happen to speak to anyone there. I hate this clinic so much, I wish there was another way to see my doctor. The online appointments don’t work so you have to call and it’s so difficult to make an appointment with them because no one ever answers.

My doctor is fantastic and I'm so grateful to have her but the clinic has the absolute worst receptionists / customer service. There is no longer any way to contact them for questions / make an appointment. The website does not work. Impossible to make appointments or to speak with anyone. So frustrating and unprofessional.

Was lucky enough to book an appointment online for the following day, given my family doctor wasn't available for quite some time. It was my first time at this walk-in clinic and I was quite impressed. I was promptly greeted by two polite receptionists and then met with a lovely doctor, Dr Ho, within 30-45 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. She was patient, thorough and very friendly throughout the appointment and took her time. Thank you to the reception team and Dr Ho for a lovely experience this morning! The building is modern, clean and there was ample free street parking.

I have been calling this place multiple times and never has anyone answered the phone. Every time, after 15 minutes of being on hold they force you to leave a voice-mail. I waited a week and never got a call back. I've been waiting for over 20 days for my test result and never got an ounce of feedback from anyone. I was also never given an estimate of how long it would take so I'm just left to worry about it for a month without further information. I find this to be a let down and honestly, a lack of professionalism. Does anyone care at all for all the bad ratings I see for this establishment? DO BETTER

I cant even make an appointment with my own family doctor. The phone number suggests you to use the website and the website has literally no dates available. "No appointment meeting your search criteria is available for now." I checked everyday of the month and nothing. Whats the point of having a family doctor if I CANT even see them?!?!?!

I've only ever had good experiences here. My doctor is friendly and competent, and the wait time is not too long. I see a lot of negative feedback based on the reception, but I've only ever made appointments online, so I can't really comment on that.

Very satisfied with my experience. Not having a family doctor makes medical care difficult, but the doctors here do follow-ups and really care about your opinion. It's a public system, so you can always expect to wait up to an hour, but the nurse was incredible and the doctor was very efficient.

The actual problem is in the health care system in Québec. also it is within ourselves for not protesting against the real cause, that is all the governments, previous and next. Unless we share our incidents, no matter how big or small they are, nothing will happen except all of us nagging once or twice then give up... until the next round of calls... - doctors are good. - nurses are good (wish they are paid more) - staff in general are good (wish they recruit more to fill the gaps) - but, system is bad.

Just called this clinic right now to cancel an appointment and the person who answered the phone with some sort of accent that was difficult to understand said something quickly and then hung up. Work on your customer service and note that the "customer line" directs you to call Sante Quebec and does not actually allow you to leave a voicemail. Train your receptionists on customer service or basic manners for a start.

Most people review are simply unfair, its normal to wait.. do you rush your appointment when it's your turn ? No you take the time that you need... I prefer having a normal appointment instead of feeling rushed. Never waited more than 20 mins over my scheduled appointment. This place is great, calm and clean, my doctor is super professional nothing bad to say about him or this place.

What a waste of time, my bf got a appoitement at 1 arrived there at 12:30 and start waiting at 2:30 he went to ask why he did not passed yet and the lady and me at the counter (what a waste of space and money to have them there useless) apparently the doctor came out to appologize to everyone and left for a familly emergency ... no one went to appologize. Then they told him you can get a new appointeme t onnext thursday really after 2 hour wait seriously and all that because he do not speak a perfect french seriously never go there

I don’t know what’s with all the negative reviews of this place! The receptionists are fantastic, the doctors are great, and I waited just over 20 mins to see a doctor. A well-oiled machine in the mess that is the Quebec healthcare system!

doctors and nurses are good, but terrible workflow coordination and reception that are not patient-centered and seriously lack accountability impossible to book appointment online and often 1h wait to get an answer by phone... doesn't return prescription renewal request faxed by pharmacy... website says they don't accept renew by fax... I took an appointment, then they cancel and say they can't give me an appointment and to call back in 2 months... then tells me to get pharmacy to refax prescription renewal request... I did it again, got confirmation from pharmacy that the fax went though and at the right number but they claim they never received it so I should ask pharmacy to do it again... also told me to go to ER for prescription renewal even though I have a GP at their clinic

I accompanied with my boyfriend to see a doctor as walk in service. We waited for more than one hour to see the doctor who we made an appointment with online, because my boyfriend has several problems needs to see a doctor but when we explain why we are here, the doctor lost his patience and said ‘sorry I don’t have enough time to meet all your needs you can make another appointment for the other problems next time. We just to see what is your most important problem today, you only can choose one or two problems.’ At last he only meet our one problem even no the second one he said before, he is ignoring my boyfriend coughs so much due to covid recovered recently. He refused to check the lungs because he doesn’t have time to do all the auscultation exam… What professional this doctor is!!! It’s the first time I heard a doctor said ‘ I have no time to see all the problems’ and pushed patient to finish the appointment maybe spent him only 10 minutes but we waited for him more than 1 hour… the clinic is so ‘ perfect’ with the rude reception!!!!!

Took my son here a few days ago. Had a 10am appointment and waited for 2hrs; after asking why people who were arriving an hour after us were being seen first they told us that the delay was because they had entered his name wrong in the system. When we finally got to see the doctor they were dismissive and said that his issue is something we should consult with his pediatrician. But if we had a pediatrician of course we would book a consultation with them instead of a clinic? Then we were told that if he didn't have a pediatrician then we should "just google it". What a disgusting way for a doctor to treat their patients.
