    Went to see a doctor with an accident that I received in the military that damaged several spots on my body and a pain that keeps shooting up my right leg, upper back, and right arm. The doctor never even took a look at it. She had really bad broken English, didn't understand half of what I was saying and was extremely impatient. All she told me was the obvious that broken things hurt (thanks for that, I had no idea) and the only thing she seemed to understand is that I was in pain and needed painkillers. She then wrote me two expensive prescriptions for something that wasn't even properly diagnosed, much less even checked and gave me no appointment for a proper check up. It was an utter waste of my time. The secretaries were also very incompetent. The only positive I can give is that the nurse who took my information was very friendly, detailed, and professional. Can't say the same for the doctor and the rest of the staff. Because I received no treatment my first time around I went back to see a second doctor hoping for better attention and results. He spent the whole time sighing like he didn't want to be there which made me feel pressured to cut it short and he only checked one of several injuries that I keep trying to get checked. I tried explaining to him that I was doing physio therapy for my injuries, but I had to stop it short and never got to finish it because I was released from the military. In order for me to continue my physio program from the military doctor to a civilian doctor I need a signed recommendation to carry on the program otherwise I'll need to pay full coverage and need a full reassessment which will be additional charges. (If you have a military related injury they will pay for treatment if you are released from the military and need medical attention with civilian doctors, but you need a signed recommendation to said treatment.) I asked for a recommendation to continue my physio therapy showing him documented proof that I had attended physio in the past for the same injuries. And he said that physio therapy was useless and that I should go get a $500 MRI scan instead, which I've already done and have on my medical record. Why I need another one is beyond me. He wouldn't give me the recommendation. He then tells me to continue the physio therapy I was doing before at home. WAIT A SECOND! The physio therapy that a moment ago was "useless" I'm now suppose to continue alone at home!? What do I have to loose with seeing a physiotherapist? I don't see the problem. I may be wrong but I think this is more about the doctor not wanting to get involved with receiving a phone call over actually addressing my problem. Plus the pointless task of sending me to get a $500 MRI scan that I've already had? Common! Now I need to waste another day finding a new CLSC with a doctor that has some clue of what they're doing and actually cares. With all that being said I won't be going back to CLSC de Saint-Henri.

    I've been a patient of Dr. Cernea there for at least 5 years, and although I like Dr. Cernea, it is absolutely impossible to take an appointment or relay any kind of message to my Dr, which has been hell for me as I'm trying to get a chronic illness diagnosed and treated. I wish there was a better way than only on the phone to communicate and take appointments. When you're there, you see the receptionnists chat and giggle while people are waiting in line and while phones are ringing. It comes at no surprises that when you try to take an appointment on the phone, you never even reach someone! Or when you do, it's the rudest person on the planet that answers and makes sure it is impossible to get anything you are calling for done. I'm about to try and get a new family doctor as far as possible from St Henri because of all of this.

    Did a walk in because I had no idea how to get an appointment. The receptionist was very friendly and provided me with all the information. The nurse was also very nice and helped me to send in my information to get a doctor.

    Personally I always come back for nurse Chantal Lacasse, she is simply AMAZING. Caring, efficient, proactive and a great listening skills. Overall she the reason why i always return and feel so comfortable asking questions. Thank you Chantal for everything you do on a daily basis!

    VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. One of the best in a long time Quebec. Professional, kind, empathic, helpful. The secretary, nurse & doctor were all polite. The doctor actually made enough time for me, listened intently & helped me with every problem I was facing. Spoke to me in clear English without an issue. MUST arrive to clinic before 7:30am (if you are walk-in) they only take the first 12, might be a wait but very good quality service. Thank you!

    I had a great experience going here for blood tests. They are very organized and efficient. The nurse doing the tests, Chanel, is amazing! I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

    I arrived 20 mins early to the appointment, but I waited almost 40 minutes to see the nurse who scheduled the appointment with me. It wasn’t friendly because the nurse seemed not sorry about being late and she didn’t even explain why she was late for almost 20 minutes. I understand it’s not an easy job, but that’s not our fault, at least show some respect to the patient who might have gone through a har time in time. I don’t think that there can be any improvement as it seems that no one really cares.

    Went for a blood test. Free parking on site and plenty of street parking. Very well-organized--no waiting with an appointment. Chantal, the technician who took my sample, is simply the best I have ever had and very personable. I've found my go-to place for testing.

    I visited this place for the first time with my newborn baby for a general follow up with Nurse. One of the Senior Nurse "MC Linda Dimarmid" attended to see my baby. She is super good and explained everything very well . Thank you very much Mc Linda. Place was so well organized and everyone so nice, Very helpful staff

    The doctors are amazing but the secretaries are incompetent. I will call to get an appointment and they will constantly seem confused. I will ask for the doctor to call me back and then they lose the information. I ask basic medical question that I required documents they have no idea what I’m saying. I say I want an appointment on Monday they keep understanding Tuesday I said can I take an appointment in the afternoon they only give me times in the morning. It takes forever to talk to the receptionist to make her understand your requirements or that you’re even a patient of this doctor. It’s not like my doctor does have times that fit my schedule, it that the secretaries are incompetent. Call at you will get 2conflicting answers in the same phone call

    This is probably the best CLSC on the island. Staff are super friendly and caring, almost no waiting time, very efficient and organized.

    I recently had a family doctor there and during the first appointment, I was treated to a lot of listening and incredible efficiency from the CLSC team. The same morning I met a clinical nurse doing pap tests and able to do more in-depth examinations, a nurse taking blood samples, and my family doctor - three extremely kind, empathetic women with contagious good humor.     I love my doctor and my nurse, but when I call to make an appointment it's impossible to speak to anyone now, I'm on hold for forever, even the music stops after 32 minutes... After 45 mins 3 times I'm getting tired of it.. I'm on the verge of going to the hospital just to see a doctor.. Edit: ended up talking to someone and having a meeting in 1 month yay!

    Went to have a blood test on Wednesday, May 10th, worst experience ever! The nurse had long nails, more than 1cm perhaps. She didn't wear gloves (it would be hard to put gloves on), and held the top of needle with her bare hands. The top part that she had held went into my vain. It was too quick for me to refuse the needle. The rest of that day, worrying possessed my mind, and I will continue to worry, and wish my luck. I could not believe this happened in Canada!

    I have nothing but positive comment regarding this clsc. I come here monthly for my blood test and have never been served with such politeness and professionalism. Madame Chen who came into the waiting room like hypocondriac seem to only have negative things to say. her motive that day was to complain...Out of 86 comment including yours your the only NEGATIVE one who has something to say which doesnt even make sense. You said she didnt wear gloves and poked you her nails which are an inch long when the needle itself is 3/4 inch long she would NOT have been able to hold the needle and poke you if her nails were that long... your giving conflicting arguments tying to destroy a good person reputation.. Move along with your N95 mask and go to another clsc if you dont like your service... Continue your great work its very unfourtunate that u had to deal with a client as such... great job CLSC st Henri
