The Barbie Expo was NOT on my list of things to do while in Montreal but my wife and daughters wanted to check it out. First of all, it was FREE, so that was awesome. Secondly, it was great! I never expected so many Barbies and such a variety of Barbies that I never knew existed.I especially loved all the recognizable "celebrity" Barbies. Very cool and a fun thing to see, and beautifully displayed.

My two girls 6 and 10 years old had a great experience to visit this exhibition. In addition, me and my husband enjoyed there too. Great collection with so many well made fashion dresses. The most important thing: it’s free😉

I highly recommend stopping here on a rainy day in montreal! I stopped on vacation and even though it looks small there is a lot to see! If you’re short on time you can do it pretty quickly and the best part… it’s completely FREE!! Great quick stop to see a really amazing collection with the family!

What a fun little gem in an unsuspecting mall. I brought my boyfriend who has no interest in fashion or Barbies here and he also loved it. All the Barbies has fun outfits and themes to talk about and even some iconic characters and celebrities to peruse. We even enjoyed the more high fashion looks! This expo is free and open as long as the mall is open so I highly recommend dropping by while exploring Rue Sainte-Catherine.

A very unexpected find within the corner of a shopping mall. Has most Barbie costumes ever created, numbering easily in the hundreds, possibly even a thousand. No gifts shop or anything available as a souvenir, expect for a Barbie box booth which you can take a photo in. It's actually one of the more memorable "museum" experiences I had in Montreal, and that's saying a lot because museums are amazing in this city.

The exposition was excellent. So you need about 1 h-1.5h to see all those barbies. It's a must-see. Also it's free and not crowded.

Lovely exhibit. Much smaller than it was a few years ago. Free to enter. There doesn't seem to be a washroom on site and the building is undergoing an extensive renovation. Fun to see if you're passing through but I wouldn't go too far out of my way.

This was so fun, it was free, not too busy and just super fun to see such an amazing and iconic collection. I would’ve gladly paid to be honest but instead they were just taking make a wish donations which is super cool! An amazing event, so happy I was able to go! If you can, I highly recommend stopping by ! I loved all the little scenes they made with the barbies as well as the way they displayed them in light boxes with captions. There was a wide variety of new and old barbies. This is fun for anyone who has a mild interest in pop culture, nostalgia, fashion or dolls and miniatures!

Fascinating experience. The expo is right in the middle of the downtown and accessible free of cost. We stumbled upon this facility accidentally via google maps and were surprised to witness the extent, diversity and details of the figures.

We visited the city on a rainy day and decided to take a detour to the Barbie Expo. It ended up being the highlight of our day. My mom and I had a really good time, even better because it's free 😊 I only wish they included inspiring barbie series such as Jane Goodall, Anna May Wong, David Bowie etc, it would be amazing if we get to see them in this exhibit as well!

It is a nice collection of Barbies. It is free. It’s in a shopping mall and a bit hard to find. If you’re a Barbie fan, this is your place. They have all the major designers, Barbies of the world, TV Barbies and old, old Barbies as well as the newer ones.

I work in this building and walk by this expo from the outside. Today we decided to go and check it out. Wow. Amazing to see the many outfits that the Barbies were wearing. Different versions of Barbies from all nationalities. Worth the visit. It is free which is a bonus.

One of the best Attractions at Montreal. Worth the visit for sure. Even my kids are not into Barbie but after visiting there, they were stunned to see so many barbie's from all over the world. They have all the Barbies ever made anywhere in the world and it was just Amazing. My kids and entire family loved it and the best part was it was all free.

It was a cute expo, but got over quicker than we expected… maybe about 200 dolls altogether, took less than 15 min to check them all out. Amazing outfits, but didn’t seem like they covered all the famous Barbie’s especially the ones that came in the movie… But nevertheless enjoyed the intricacies of the outfits and the variety , and the various celebrities on display .. There were total of 10-12 display racks at the most, check the videos. It was free so that was a plus. Thanks for the nice experience. I think I enjoyed it more than my kid or husband 😁

There is no cost - you just walk in and enjoy all the fabulous haut couture fashions on the Barbies - many of which are well known actors and celebrities. The mock fashion show, complete with photographers and models back stage is a highlight. I have been twice and there are so many Barbies on display, that there is always more to enjoy the next time.

What a lovely collection of Barbie! Wish I had this many Barbies growing up. Beautiful outfits, famous Barbies! Barbies from the past! Barbies from all over the world were my favourite! Best part is it’s FREE!

Free is free! Barbie Expo at the Les Cours Mont-Royal shopping mall is the largest permanent exhibit. Admission is free, and it is located in downtown Montréal. For a rainy day, this was a perfect detour for our young family to freely roam around the exhibit. There are a few fun displays such as a James Bond soirée and a fashion show runway that slightly resembles the runway in the mall itself. For the most part, dolls with different features & dresses are individually displayed by collection. We even found a few resembling famous actresses from across the world!

Very nice collection of vintage historical and pop culture barbies (was delightfully surprised to see Prince William and Kate Middleton and Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the wedding section along with Daniel Craig's James Bond at the celebrity venue. The mechanized catwalk with random flashes of cameras from the Barbie attendees was adorable and I cannot imagine the work that went into that set up!! Loved to see the various levels from normal traditional folk clothing to fashion take to princess level for the countries displayed and the obvious inclusion of native Barbies.

Amazingly beautiful dolls with incredibly detailed workmanship. A great way to kill a couple of hours. I deleted 1 star only because it was difficult to locate the exhibit as the signage was poor. That being said I found some great deals in one of the stores. I wouldn't recommend it for small children as the dolls are displayed at adult eye level.

I really like the expo. I thought seeing Barbies from around the world, famous ones and designer Barbies was fun. I expected it to be a bit bigger but I read that there was a flooding last year which caused the expo to shut down temporarily which means that they had to move arcades/rental place. Overall it was a really fun expo to see! Should definitely drop by if you have a 30 minutes gap in your schedule.

Randomly right into this Expo and it was so cute and nostalgic. I arrive midweek and it was completely empty so I felt like I had the most intimate in private experience ever. It took me about half an hour to finish the Expo, I'm sure some people can do it in less but I wanted to really take a look at all the Barbies they had.

The Barbie Expo was AWESOME! It came as 3 generations both males and females and EVERYONE enjoyed it! Favorite part was the Barbie toy box where you can take pictures as if you were a doll. Hundreds of dolls on display, all placed in categories, and really cool set up. The expo was absolutely beautiful with a huge fountain in the middle, chandeliers, and clean. Well done!

Highly recommending to visit to get away from malls shoppers ie Covid and discover & appreciate technological masterpieces. My nikon and I literally spent 2.5 hrs there. I was amazed by the accuracy to real life and appreciated the fact that many different ethnic minorities are represented in today’s geopolitical connotations. While prepping to go please bring cash to donate to the Make A Wish foundation although the expo is free of charge. Kuddos to the few males ( myself included) I saw there.
