What a fantastic pool! Three great pools. The middle pool has a soft bottom so no scrapes from rough concrete. Unfortunately though the open play area is not very deep. The deeper pools are reserved for the high dives and lengths. Still a relaxing place to cool down. Lockers are also free which was awesome and also the first time I’ve ever seen that. The metro also conveniently stops right next to the pool.

Huge facility with several pools, including eight lanes for lap swimming in the main pool. Large changerooms, clean, with shower and changing cubicles and free, code-operated lockers (instructions only in French). The water temperature in the lane pool was quite chilly - but that’s better than being too warm. There's a big clock that even short-sighted I can see from the pool. Admission is sold in blocks of time, such as 9:30 to 11:00 am and 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. You’re given a wristband to show proof of payment. The facility is easy to reach on the Yellow Metro line to Jean-Drapeau station.

Great place to swim at. Very quiet, no music no noise. Its good especially for families with kids/babies because its not too deep. The pool is heated a bit which makes it very to swim. No place nearbuy or on site to buy food from. So bring your picnic with you. You have to buy your tickets online for the time slot and day you want before heading to the pool because its usually full few days in advance. *Note: The parking around is 15$/day .

First time we bought tickets and got the receipt in email but never received the e-tickets...customer service email is invalid. Impossible to reach. The second time, we went there on a gloomy Monday to avoid the crowds but turned out only one pool open, with 4 lanes out of 8 closed. Only 1 slow, 1 medium and 2 fast lanes. So it was still crowded :( Congratulations the changing rooms with lockers and showers are closed too! We swam in the slow lane and someone said F word to us because we were slower than him?!!(but it’s the slow lane?!!) Water is a bit dirty but understandable. Overall disappointed :( Same price for very little facilities available on weekdays.

Super nice swimming pool in the iconic Jean Drapeau park! This aquatic complex is located on Ile Ste-Helene, now Jean Drapeau park, next to the iconic Biosphere. It offers 3 pools: the main pool is divided into lane swim and leisure pool, there is deep diving pool with what I think the Olympic sized diving platform, and another pool that looks like a training pool with a few lanes. On the day we went only the main pool was open to the public. This public pool is offering a family day pass of only $17 (2 adults and 2 children), taxes included! Single adult day pass is only $4.25. The facility offers shower and locker with digital lock, all free of charge, better than so many public pools that we’ve been to. The main pool is heated to 27 degrees Celsius, so very comfortable even for small children. The water was super clean, you can find many floating toys around the main pool, also free of charge. We spent 2 hours in this pool on Labor Day weekend, and it wasn’t busy at all, many chairs were empty, there were some adults sun tanning on the pool deck. Parking was a little bit of hassle, P9 was full but luckily we found one last spot in P10, $7 for one hour for a maximum of $20 per day. Highly recommend!

As New Yorkers, we are thoroughly charmed at how easy and pleasant it is to swim in Montreal pools. This is a fine pool, with a soft bottom thats very welcoming for kids. There are so many cute toys that the staff lend out. Well there is no restaurant on site, there is a crafty little machine near the ticketing booth where you can get freshly made box lunches. We ate overlooking the pool, watching the artistic swimming team practice their routines. Very unique entertainment. It does get kinda.crowded, so go early!

Very nice complexe of swimming pools for either competition swimming, competition diving or just leisure. Located in a park, it is surrounded by trees. Very easily accessible by the subway at the Parc Jean Drapeau station on the yellow line. The leisure pool with it's progressive incline is very easily accessible to the very young and the very old.

Great place to cool down for $6.50. Water is warm, there is a shallow pool that is divided for kids/wading, lane swimming and general swim. Adjacent pool has diving boards and platforms. Lots of space for resting/tanning. Lots of lifeguards. Washrooms are clean for outdoor pool standards. Lots if parks/greenery outside the pool enclosure. Accessible by metro.

It’s a great place to swim, the staff we’re super friendly. I highly recommend this place, as it’s not too shallow, not too deep. I’m definently coming again next summer! My brothers even enjoyed their fun experience here.

Outdoor parking is 20$ for a day. No food or cafe inside the facility or nearby. Pool is clean and kids friendly. There is a very small slide and sprinklers. Bring your chairs and a carpet.

Really cheap, I paid 6.50$ for the whole day. There's places with shade, there's chairs, pool noodles, life jackets, and lockers in the changing rooms. There's not too many people.

Excellent facility. Swim lanes arent usually overcrowded. Water temperature is fine. There is digital locks on all lockers (they are free of use, no need to bring your own lock). 4 stars because at 7,50$ I find it a bit pricey for a simple swim. I wouldnt spend much time there; the pool surroundings arent very inviting; no bar, no food, etc.

Their website is misleading, free swim doesn't mean it's actually free (cost wise) it's referring to it being open, and not designated for lane swim

  • 4/5 Sheila M. 1 year ago on Google
Love this place. Only issue is that some parents neglect to put diapers on toddlers who end up dropping a job in the pool causing a 1-hour closure. Similarly, some allow children to fill their bellies before going into the pool, and shortly thereafter the child vomits, and the pool closes again. Easy issues to resolve!

Lanes are not overcrowded even on weekends, convenient lockers. Check weather forecast for thunderstorms before you go there (they may ask you to exit the water if a thunderstorm is coming)

Very special place. Clean fresh water, not too crowded. Had my own lane at 10:00. Very nice swimming facility in a spectacular location. Highly recommend

  • 4/5 Mykola P. 9 months ago on Google
Nice pool for outdoor lanes swimming, but be ready for some unexpected items inside, since trees are close. Also, not everyone use swimming hats which is annoying

  • 5/5 Kaitlin W. 8 months ago on Google
A beautiful outdoor pool, can easily spend a few hours here. Recommend taking the metro or the ferry; cheaper and easier than parking!

  • 3/5 Brendan J. 8 months ago on Google
Pretty bare bones - no lounge chairs and only enough actual plastic chairs for a very small portion of people at the pool. If you need to cool down or get laps in this will do the trick. No access to a diving board or use of the starting blocks.

  • 3/5 Oumayma G. 6 months ago on Google • 6 reviews
Nice pool. Went there for the pool with the diving boards that opens only on weekend but it was closed due to lack of lifeguards. Cloackrooms have great lockers, but medium hygiene. No hair dryers available.

The aquatic complex is a the place to go for outdoor swimming. The pool is usually clean, the staff is friendly and when the weather is nice enough you can enjoy a sunny swim! The only thing that is a little bit sad, is that there is sometimes a lot of people at the same time in the swimming lanes. I strongly recommend going early in the morning because there is less people in the lanes!

It's a fun pool if you have kids. Great for the summer months to beat the heat. The only thing missing are tables for eating lunch. But you do have the picnic tables at parc Jean drapeau for that.

(Translated by Google) The main pool has at least 4 lanes for swimming in lengths of 50m. As it is outside and there are a lot of bathers, the water is sometimes very dirty and too hot. The rest of the huge pool is for free swimming. There are a lot of floating games for children. Normally one of the swimming pools is the diving pool and accessible to the public. The other is generally used for water polo matches. In the summer of 2020, the other two pools are currently closed and you must book online before going to be able to swim in the lanes according to a predefined time slot of 2 hours.
