My mother was kept here. They stole her wallet and lost her glasses. They dropped her 3 times. It's the absolute worst hospital I've seen. The physicians never call with updates and the nurses never know what it happening with their patient. The geriatric floor is terrible. They legit do not care about the patients. They both stole and lost my mother's property who was cognitively impaired. When my mother needed changing, they let her sit for the better part of an hour. They also use "baby talk" with the patients, where they have this higher pitched "softer" voice like that patient is stupid. It's terrible. The nurses also have no expertise in handling patients. When a patient is difficult they'll literally call the family 11pm at night to try to get them to come in and help. The geriatric floor is really unsafe. We also wanted to get a TV for my mother. We called 5 times for the TV. Eventually they responded. They also only offered the most expensive deal, they don't even let you know of other deals.

Today is July 22/21. I have been to Pierre Boucher Hospital in the last month twice for siadca in my legs. The Emergency Doctors there were not bad but did nothing that gave me any relief. Med' s that don't do a thing..X-rays that don't show nothing because only an ordered MRI would suffice but not ordered. Physio too expensive to even dream about. This Hospital needs advocates' for those of us who cannot make a Doctor understand what really a 10 / 10 pain scale is and means. I have never been in so much chronic pain and felt so dismissed. It's been agony for me for over a month and I just don't know what to do or who will speak for me.😥

The nurse in the emergency triage is she racist? I felt like she does the triage based on your face or race, rather than the health factors of the patients. I went with a huge pain, she put me last. After they saw me crying of pain for 5 hours, they just gave me a pain killer that I already had at home. Shame on you!

The Hospital, has very good doctors, I have had excellent service until today, I had an appointment with a doctor in a external clinic, he operates at Pierre Boucher usually. His name is Dr. Boogie, I waited 6 years for the appointment, they had lost the request made in 2015, finally I got to go to meet him today December 02, 2021. He says that there is nothing that can be done, that he cannot operate due to health issues occurred during the delay of the waiting period. I understand completely what he means, I cried our of desperation, he said that I was argumenting every excuse he was giving me, and he opened the door of the office so in other words it meant get out. I felt so sad cause I had hoped he could help me but he didn't even try to understand my sadness and had no empathy towards a patient. SOO SAD THAT HE DIDN'T EVEN CARE AND WASN'T EVEN MOVED TO AT LEAST HEAR ME.

I had an incredible experience giving birth at this hospital. The staff went above and beyond to care for me and my newborn. They are so caring and knowledgeable and the system was very well organized. The birthing rooms are very nice as well, equipped with a large bathroom, tub, birthing balls, etc. The nurses went above and beyond to make us feel cared for and looked after.

(Translated by Google) I am a foreigner, and my doctor in private clinic sent me to see a dermatologist in this hospital following a strange stain under the thumbnail for several years. Arrived at the reception, not having RAMQ, they automatically take $300 from me. I can understand that they want us to pay before... except that the consultation is $127. Why take me more than double? The lady at the reception answers me with a haughty air that I am a foreigner and that I have to pay for care in Quebec, that it is not free. Which doesn't answer my question at all. The appointment happens, where the doctor looks at my nail quickly, before telling me that it's nothing at all. I leave after two minutes of consultation, without a document. I ask for documents but I am told that I will receive everything at home in about ten days because the invoice must be prepared (in 2022, wait 10 days for an invoice???). I also ask to be reimbursed for the $173 overpayment, but I also have to wait 10 days... After waiting two weeks, I called, and after wandering from service to service, I finally got my money back. Except that my private insurance asks me for supporting documents to reimburse me for the doctor's consultation, and all I have is an invoice that says that I paid $127 at the Longueuil hospital... I finally got my medical file back after a month, following a letter I wrote. I find the procedures very archaic... Everything would be so much simpler on the Internet! Small positive note to say that the staff is (generally) present to answer us, even if it takes time. Hence the 3 stars instead of 1 that I thought I would put at the beginning.

The worst hospital ever. I took my 69 years old mom to their emergency for her urinal infection. She had pain and was very uncomfortable. They made her wait 20 hrs in the waiting area and finally refused to examen her. They sent us to clinic Pierre Boucher and there they gave appointment for another date four days after. Horrible absolutely horrible system.

Longest wait lines for any kind of services. Emergency? Forget it. Procedures? Forget it. Specialists? Forget it. Don't come here. You will only get anger and worst. I live 5 mins from this hospital and I prefer to drive to Montreal.

Arrived for a dislocated shoulder. Had to wait 5 hours for them to put it back, but that was not the main issue. Emergency entrance is poorly indicated and is far away, which was hard for me since my arm kept popping. No transporation for me since I cannot be in a wheel chair. When we finally arrived, some paramedic touched my arm, which caused a shock of pain! He did not ask me first, disrespectful. The staff got confused that it took so long to get an X-ray, to my pain and anguish. I could not sit down, but there was no place for me to stand as I was screaming. Once the X-rays were done, the procedure was quick, which saved them from a 1 star rating. Overall, poorly organized hospital.

(Translated by Google) During my delivery I had the worst experience some nurses are really not understanding towards the patients who give birth. If you work in the area of birth, it seems to me that you have to be patient and understanding. We women who give birth are not robots. The obstetrician sewed me badly I have no choice but to go back to sew me up until now I have a trauma from this childbirth. If one day in my life I want to have another baby I will never go there to give birth EVER.

We are asked not to stay in the emergency room due to the lack of space but impossible to speak to the patient's nurse on the phone... Really, I'm disappointed... Excellent care and I only quibble with the parking costs. Waiting for one's appointment takes more than the two free hours even still. But I consider it a small donation to the cause.

Stay away. sat there for 11 hours with the back pain, from 3PM to 2AM. when told them I cant sit anymore coz my back is killing me, they suggest it would be faster if I let them send me to outdoor appointment to which I said yes but then they said they wont be able to give me an appointment until I tell them I feeling well so they can change my priority to some less important case. so I told them I am feeling well so I can get an appointment which they said would be early in the next morning, but then they came back telling me that no appointment is available since the case is not that urgent.

I would have given half or quarter stars if available. This hospital is a scam and one of the worst experiences. They do not treat a patient politely. My wife was suffering from severe breathing problems her oxygen saturation level was 90 and had heavy chest pain she was asked to wait for more than 6 hours and on requesting for doctor's help the nurse completely ignored her and asked her to wait. we wasted 7 hours without medical help and came back. Is there someone to address the review and take action?

If i could give it a 0 star, I would. A close relative dying in hospital was admitted on a short stay unit, stayed for over a week, was covid positive, placed in a hallway with only a curtain (as if that will stop covid from spreading). As we were visiting, my moms foot had stepped outside of the “curtain area” and we proceeded to get yelled at by one of the nurses that we can’t step out of the “covid area”. The nurse Continues to ignore our questions about my relatives care. I’ve been to a lot of hospitals and this one is definitely in the worst of the worst I’ve been to

I have been waiting for surgery for over a year now. I continue to call to see if there is any follow up news to meet up with my doctor. Every time I call, there is no available places to get an appointment. I am told they will call back, and they never do. I received one call from them three weeks ago, saying they had an availability the following morning at 9am. No time given to take time off of work, simply the next morning and no other availability. I call back today, and magically no one can find my file. I tell them it's impossible, and we go back and forth for 5 minutes and after another 5 minutes of searching - they find my file. Once again, zero availability to see the doctor. Once I asked the reason, I get responded "well that's not my department". I ask to get transferred to someone who can give me the information and she gives me an extension number. Zero customer service, zero customer care, zero reassurance that someone will follow up with me... this is the hospital that I will allow to open me up... I'm having doubts.

If you are a person of color, do not go! They tend to neglect you if you're not Quebecois. They think non-quebecois are there to take advantage of the system or something. You're better off in another hospital, where you're going to be treated like a human being. Trust me, it'll save your time, energy, and most importantly, your life.

(Translated by Google) 5h wait in the emergency room on a Friday evening (neurological problem but benign). Despite the wait, once it was my turn, I was really touched by the attention and kindness of all the staff, doctors, nurses, attendants... It's really a shame that it doesn't run more fast but the service as such, when an employee speaks to us and tries to understand our problem, it was good and always respectful.

I want to say a thank you to the neonatal/childbirth unit for their excellent job and professionalism. I want to give my special thanks to Sylvie and Alexandra. You girls rock and I really appreciate your care and human touch. I forgot a bunch of other RNs and doctors and staffs' names...but you all deserve my deepest thanks. I was going to answer the survey on the Agrément but the website don't work... bummers. Things I would want to see from the hospital...how about a free wifi ??? Charles Lemoyne have it...come on people 😉

The doctors treated us very well. We had an appointment so we were in and out pretty fast. There was a lot of people there when we went so I don't know how the emergency room is but for the appointment it was relatively fast and the people were nice. But they mostly only spoke French.
