    Worst petshop I have ever seen. I swing by often to check when Im at place Versailles and It gets worst everytime. The fish are in lamentable state. Extremely expensive fish. totally not worth it. It shows they really don't care. As you see in the photos the fish were completely infested with ich. This was present throughout dozens of aquariums. 5 Minutes away you have the nature pet center on H Lafontaine (25) it's a million times better in all senses.

    The bunny was going crazy and thumping and looked terrified because of all the people and dogs around, I felt soo sorry, he couldn't even fit in his hidey hole because the hole is too small. He was running around in that tiny cage trying to get away. My heart breaks for all these animals that are stuck at this pet shop. Just cruel. The least they can do is give this poor bunny a hidey hole he can at least fit in. He could get a heart attack from how scared he was.

    Rude and inadequate staff For people looking to buy hamsters for the first time, pls do a thorough research before you come in to this store as the staff has very little knowledge of hamster/ hamster care. To add, they don’t know the pets they are selling.When I called them to asked if they have a Serian hamster they said NO they only have small hamsters and the “normal” (?) hamsters which I assumed is the one I was looking for. When I get there I asked again and they repeated what they said over the phone. When we entered , surprise, surprise, they did have Serian hamster... (the one they said they didn’t have) I approach another staff to request the hamster we want to bring home, in a friendly way but she responded back with a rude and condescending attitude. She asked me questions about the hamsters new home with an uninterested tone. When she gave the hamster to us I requested to have some of the bedding from it’s cage. And she asked why? I replied (something along the lines of) new hamsters need their old bedding so that they won’t be overwhelmed by their new environment, with the bedding they came with they will feel more comfortable. i was surprise that she asked because this is a common knowledge among hamster owners or care. When she walked away, she rolled her eyes at me! She also made us buy hamster food that was not needed or unnecessary. 0/5

    The staff was friendly. This store is not stroller friendly. Not enough space if u have a big stroller or wagon. There’s some empty fish tank or under renovation. Water leaking on the floor. Not very clean, u can see dust on some of the items that’s been sitting there for a while now. The store manager need to do a deep clean.

    The staff are so passive-aggressive, the chubby girl roll her eyes when you try to have some information about the pets and if you want to buy one. Judge you when you try to look up for some cages online wich are way more cheap, ask for picture before hands to be sure it's a good cage. But if you look at where the pets are kept anything can be better. Talk more between them than welcoming the customer. Ain't the first time this happen. Think they know everything but they don't most of the time.

    The manager at this store is horrendous!! She’s extremely rude and confrontational!! I simply asked a question that did not please her and she took it personally , started telling me to have a good day as she was showing me the door before I purchased my things ! The employee watching her treat me this way, started treating me the same way as her manager , telling us to move cause we were in the way at the cash ! I was compelled to leave everything there ! Went to mondou where they’re happy to answer my questions and happily accept my business . Safari Versailles , I would review my manager cause you’re definitely losing business with her .

    I wanted a rabbit but they refuse to sell me without the cage. I asked if I buy the rabbit, will you help me take apart the cage? No, we are gonna give it to you like that.. the supervisor replied. How can I fit that in the car? Am I supposed to break down the cage in the parking lot? It's not safe to drive the rabbit home in this cage. They made it hard to buy this rabbit I was willing to take, they said the rabbit bites and has issues but I can tell if you leave him alone, he is very relaxed and he just needs time. The supervisor was almost discouraging me from buying him despite having experience with rabbits. She also had a little bit of a rude tone when I had questions.

    Not bad, not great. For sure, this place is sadly a shadow of its former self. Staff used to be a lot friendlier but this has changed over the years. The workers aren’t necessarily rude, but they seem more apathetic. The selection of animals is smaller/less diverse than it used to be but also less impressive than other animal places I’ve been to. I adore the theming of this store.

    *TMI It looks cute and all from outside and it's why I give 1 more star. However, the look don't matter if animals are treated poorly. I went there yesterday. A mice was eating another one. From what I saw, it was left there for a while. I know mice can eat each other but it's if food is scarce. Are they even feeding them enough? I don't know. There were children and I just wish they didn't see this. I told an employee and they removed it. According to some other reviews, they aren't great towards animals in general. It's great for pet supplies but they shouldn't have pet under their care, in my opinion. Not only that but they also discriminate employee's applicants based on their physical appearance (no hair dyed, no piercings). If you g and buy there, that's fine... but just know what you're supporting.

    We recently adopted a guinea pig and I was called crual for not taking 2. I was told my guinea pig would die of loneliness at an early age and I was heartless. I have had 8 guinea pigs that all lived old. Seriously the manager is the Karen of guinea pigs. She needs to step up her customer service. The cashier also needs to stop rolling her eyes at customers. My guinea pig is gorgeous however my experience was awful.

    Dont go there they dont treat their animals well. My girlfriends bought some rats a year ago and they were infested with some type of flea and they were sick too. When she went back to them they asked her if she wanted others rats instead of healing them.

    It as been a few time already that i have been going to this store. I started my aquarium a few months ago and didn't know a thing about fish. The girl in the fish section (red hair) as been really helpful since the beginning and always have great advice. I recommend going when she's there.

    I’ve went there a couple times on my own, mostly to look but sometimes to purchase some things including animals. Around a month ago, I bought a syrian hamster from there. The employee wasn’t exactly rude, but for some reason asking for the hamster made me very nervous? I don’t know why, but she seemed a little annoyed, maybe she was having a bad day. The second time I went there was to get some pet mice, since I had been wanting them for a long time. Before going I had all my supplies, so I didn’t need to purchase any. When I got there and asked to buy a pair of female mice I was immediately asked if I had a debit card in order to prove if I had gotten the food, after they asked me to show what kind of food I had. This kind of shocked me as with my first experience they didn’t ask for that. They ended up giving me the mice after I told them I didn’t have “proof” as I don’t see why I should, it’s great that they care about their animals though. Today was and will be my last time going there, one of the mice given to me fell into a state of torpor, which is basically their body temperature being very cold, and unfortunately passed away. I explained this to the employee, and the reasoning why I came which was to get more mice because I didn’t want my other one to be alone as it’s recommended that they live in pairs. Long story short, the employee told me she couldn’t sell me the mice because I was below the age of 18. That in my opinion is the most stupidest thing I’ve ever heard, I’m not a child of course, I do longer than my actual age, but I’m not that young looking. I also don’t get why they would tell me this now when I had already previously bought a few animals from them with no problem whatsoever. Also, not every mouse or rat that is bought is intended to be a feeder, so when I go to buy a mouse and they immediately ask why and I say “for a pet” and then they suddenly start asking me for proof of the supplies even though they didn’t do that for my hamster, it’s kinda weird to me. Especially since syrian hamsters need way more care and supplies than mice, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t sell me them the second time because I wasn’t 18. I told them I would come back with a parent, but when I told my parents about this they refused and simply told me to go to another petstore as it was a stupid thing to not allow. I had a good first experience though :)

    They sold me 2 abused and neurologically damaged green cheek conures, whom died. Now I have to pay my own autopsy, then bring them to small claims court because they refuse to reimburse me the money .. I’ve never had such a horrible experience other than this Safari pet shop .. please people stick with Nature Parc pet shop, and breeders. I went to buy the same Conure off of a breeder, it’s been 1 week and no problem. Safari even gave me a rich in sugar diet, very unhealthy for Conure’s. The diet the breeder gave me was on a different level. I wouldn’t even buy a fish from these people ! The manager Sheena that sold me the bird looked straight out of prison .. tattoos, smelt of smoke. Then she even told me on the phone that everything is my fault, rudely as well. She just wanted to sell me the bird and get me out of there as soon as possible.

    Good place for people that actually care for fish, i listened to them and did not buy too many at once, a store that refuse to sell too many fish just for the sake of it is refreshing. Sometime the customer is not always right right, Ask for Mariane, probably butcher the name. She is a straight shooter and tell you what you need to know. Cant put a price on passion and she got it.

This Macaw's feathers are severely missing on its chest which is a HUGE RED FLAG in the condition of its health. It is the result of poor diet and emotional distress. Parrots shed feathers but this is NOT a normal feather molting! I even showed my friend who is a professional bird trainer for 20 years and he confirmed that this is alarming and that the bird is not in proper care. I tried to ask the staff and they simply did not care and could not answer questions about the nutritional diet or the medical care of this Macaw. UNBELIEVABLE. This is the result of hiring incompetent and untrained people who lack empathy and common sense in caring for an animal, and wild animal mind you! The head office and investors of Centre d'animaux Safari need to take responsibility and take action. If they are going to keep wild animals such as this macaw captive in a cage, at least be responsible and properly learn to care for it!! This is unacceptable and I will be reporting this to the ASPCA for negligence and posting on all forums as well. I URGE YOU TO VISIT THIS PLACE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!     This is no offence to any of the staff members working there, they were all super friendly there’s just a few problems with this place. First, their hamsters (rodents in general) are not healthy and not in a good environment/space. There’s about 5 hamsters that are 5-7 months all together which is super bad since they cannot be together after 8 weeks+. They’re also super afraid and anxious and they are not hand trained at all which causes them to be terrified. Not to mention, they do not even know the sexe of them. These hamsters should be sent to places that actually have the space to welcome so many hamsters and have the staff and patience to take care of them properly instead of just selling them and only thinking of business and not the safety and care of the pets/animals they have in their possession. Not a good place imo.
