Overall my fiance and I loved our time at the hotel. The reservation was under his name and checking in went smoothly and quickly. The location is great for exploring the heart of Marieville and it is easy to get to the highway to go to places like Chambly and Mount Yamaska. The room was beautiful but, as other commentors have said, it was quite dark and there is a bit of a step to get into the bathroom.

First, the owners go out of their way to give us a nice stay. They made us feel welcome to bring our own food, and enjoy whatever they had (sauna, fridge, etc.). Room was clean. The building is beautiful. It was our second stay, and definitely not the last.

When we arrived the owner helped us bring our luggage in and was very accommodating. The room was clean and quiet. The air conditioning worked well when though the outside temperature got up to 35°c or 95°f.

We really enjoyed our stay at Manoir Ramezay. The staff was very friendly and most accommodating. The roof top patio with hot tub is a nice setting to relax outdoor. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough to keep our 2 bikes.

The service was wonderful. We arrived late in the evening, and the manager made us very comfortable in out clean, cozy room. The inn is very cute, appears to have been built around the 1980s, and is outfitted thoughtfully with tidy furniture. Breakfast was provided, and the common area where it is available is warm and inviting.

Very clean and cozy hotel. A cool log cabin vibe that's a awesome change of pace from the typical motel. Great morning breakfast. Friendly staff that also helped accommodate my mountain bike. Highly recommend.

We were one of the first guests to check in so the inn keeper was kind enough to give us a pick of the room. Unfortunately the room that we chose ended up having a clogged toilet but we were swiftly assigned another room, which was appreciated. The inn keeper was also super helpful when we checked in, giving us restaurant recommendations outside of the restaurant on site. (The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol but they allow BYOB.) Marieville is a sleepy town so food options are not plentiful, but we were encouraged to order food to the inn or bring take out back to our rooms if we desired. Communal areas are cozy (if a bit dark). Coffee/tea, water, etc. was readily available. There was also a (communal) fridge for guest use. The inn is only really walking distance to a few fast food restaurants, but it surrounded by a lot of green space. Although the rooms were clean and had a cute "lodgy" vibe, the exterior of the inn was run down and in a state of disarray. Breakfast is included and served in the onsite restaurant, which was dark and in need of updating. We left a tip on the table for the service but were accosted on our way out by our server who asked for a tip (he either didn't see the tip on the table or just assumed we were walking out on him). The room provides an envelope for house keeping and breakfast but perhaps the tips aren't getting distributed.

My daughter and husband are there right now. The rooms are small, but that is not the problem. It said when booking that there was a pullout couch, it is not a pullout couch, it is a futon and is not even big enough for my husband to stretch out on. The window in the bedroom also leaks when it rains. Also my husband went to the dining room, because breakfast was included. Well the bacon was lukewarm, and extra bacon was hidden in the cabinet in the dining room. So it wasn’t even kept at an optimal temperature. The eggs were hard boiled and still in their shells, but also just lukewarm. Thankfully he said he didn’t eat any. they are even thinking about leaving early staying somewhere else. But of course, they had to pay ahead of time.

A very unique hotel in a quiet town. Not much to do in Marieville (as pointed out to me by the Canadian border agent), but there are several places to eat within walking distance that are very friendly to non-French speaking tourists. I stayed in the Royale Suite. Great value for the money. Only suggestion to the owners, get a replacement TV for the bedroom - tube TV is a little dated. Other than that, it was a great experience.

It's hard to tell whether this hotel is open or going out of business. Very strange. The restaurant and spa are both closed and the front door was locked.
