Summary: A fun and lively sugar shack serving outstanding food with excellent ambiance and service. Each item from the coleslaw, to the sausages, and to the donuts are all exquisite and that much better than other versions served at other places. The quality of the maple syrup is superb and the maple taffy is a must have to complete the perfect meal. On top of the delicious food, the location has a cute gift shop and horse rides for children. Absolutely awful food. Completely overpriced. The atmosphere was nice but I wouldn’t want to serve this stuff to my dog. The veggie option was even worse. heated plates with prepped food that was sitting for hours before getting served. Absolutely not worth the money.

One of the best cabane a sucres I've ever been to. Veggie and vegan options are very helpful too, and very tasty.

I had a very nice experience at this place. The food was very good and the staff was very attentive. The atmosphere is also quite good. The location is a little hard to find, and the parking lot is a bit far from the cabin, but it's worth it.

Group of 4 adults; 2 were vegan We had very high expectations given the reputation of the Handfield Inn and their posting on the website of vegan options. We attended before covid and it was an amazing time experience. First, $40/person for poor food quality, very small portions for the condiments & bread. As well as many of the items were/seemed store bought. The vegan options were very little as well as not related to traditional Cabane à Sucre at all. We were all very disappointed and did not eat well. The tire de l'erable was on ice instead snow, it was grainy and the customer service was almost subpar, considering the employee barely spoke to us. We were expecting much more! For all these reasons we will not be returning.

Incredible food served in a traditional québécois context. Service was kind and attentive. Will come again next year for sure.

Nice place in the south shore. The style of the building is very nice and fitting the theme of maple syrup house. The food was surprisingly good! I have had some not so great food at other sugar shacks in recent years. We started with yellow pea soup The all you can eat food included eggs, baked beans, sourdough bread, potatoes, meat balls and what seemed like steam roasted ham. There was homemade ketchup, beats, coleslaw, pickles, butter and pate available as side dishes. The main meal was followed by an excellent dessert of cinnamon muffin, mini pancakes and scrumptious chomeur. There was also unlimited delicious maple taffy at the very end.Would definitely go back again.

My visit the was for a wedding. So all the food was catered.. But the service was from the cabane à sucre staff , that we're very rude . But again it was for a wedding.

Food's good. People are nice. The ambience was super cool, the musician gives a good vibe.
