The most cheap place one could imagine. IKEA style cheap furniture, cold plastic chairs, bad mattress and awful pillows killing your back and neck. The worse was the sound of old style air conditioner. It was noisy in general, but time to time noise level was increasing to the levels of an airplane taking off, couldn't sleep the night.

We had a one night stay here. Everything was very clean and modern in the room inc the bathroom (walk in shower). Even though close to Highway 20, it was relatively quiet at night. Breakfast was basic and dining area well maintained. Check in staff very pleasant. Parking was sufficient but can do with a little bit more lighting for the night. I noticed a number of EV chargers by the rear entrance. Close to many restaurants and stores and right off the highway.

Amazing value for a hotel close to the highway. Our room faced the parking lot and was perfectly quiet. Room was carpet free with a king size bed. If you need a brand name hotel, stay at the one across the street. If you want a clean place to sleep without a ridiculous price, stay here.

When i see this hotel outside at night, i thought the quality would not be good. But as entering room, i say wow with my parents. The beds are clean and comfortable and the bathroom also is well organized and clean as well. Im going to boom this hotel later when visiting Quebec some day.

Great place to stay, with newly added upgrades like new showers, and new computers, I would recommend to anybody.

I’m a bit disappointed because I’ve stayed at another Le Dauphin before that was pet friendly so I booked this one thinking it was the same. When I called to confirm needing a pet friendly room, they said they don’t have pet friendly rooms, I was surprised. They recommended trying the Holiday Inn. However, they wouldn’t allow a refunded cancellation because the deadline had passed the day before. A partial refund would’ve went a long way.

Overall from someone who travels often, it is a great location. Parking is a bit of a pain as you check in first before being able to get through the gate. Rooms are very comfy and clean, breakfast is complimentary yet American type.

Rooms are quite nice in comparison to the look of the hotel. We even had an Apple computer in our room (although we couldn't figure out how to turn it on). Breakfast didn't offer much, but front desk staff was nice. There's a mall right across the street for plenty of fast food options

Very good quality for the price. It seems that it was renovated recently. The room was very clean.

Great stay again on the way back from Gaspe. Location is convenient and has restaurants within walking distance. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Don't let the slightly outdated sign fool you! Fully renovated inside! Super clean hallways, modern rooms, excellent bedding and comfortable new beds. Rooms cleaned daily (unlike my stay at a higher rated hotel the week prior to staying here!) I would recommend giving this hotel a try. Don't judge the outside by the inside. I'm hopeful that the last stage of their renovation is to update the sign. It's the only thing that would make someone think twice. Excellent stay (3 nights). Will absolutely return!!

We booked 2 rooms in early August 2023 for 3 nights. It appears that the rooms have recently been renovated. One of the rooms (my room) still had an attached kitchen area which could be closed off by bifold doors. Although it was clean, you can tell that it was not part of the renovation. The other room did not have the kitchen area and looked more "upgraded". The bed was super comfortable with an actual duvet and high-end feeling sheets. The cleaning staff were excellent and cleaned the rooms daily and replaced the towels, which felt soft and fluffy compared to the usual hotel towels which usually feel stiff and starchy. If I had one suggestion, it would be to upgrade their toilet paper from the super thin 1 ply. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay and would come back again.

There were 3 small white boxes directly over our bed, one had a bright green light, that glowed all night, I assume one was a fire alarm, what the other 2 were for...? Who knows? It weirded me out didn't enjoy my sleep. Hallways were noisy by 7am. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

I was rejected with the reason my card was not Credit, but Mastercard debit. That was needed not for the payment but for security deposit. Trying to explain that I don't need a credit to pay for one night stay was unsuccessful. Credit card requirement was not mentioned when booking. The only good thing was that the receptionist pointed to the nearby available hotel.

The room is clean and neat. We had a packed schedule and the breakfast to go was a big help. We had a great time and will come again.

First off I would not recommend this place. Its definitely not the nicest place we've stayed at but also not the worst. However it comes in close second to the worst we've ever stayed at. The pictures on the internet make it look nice and don't get me wrong it looks nice but its not. Maybe we had a one off room. The bed was like sleeping on a slab. Not even close to comfy. Everytime we moved the bed made a noise. I will say the sheets were clean at least. Can't say the same for the bathroom. The counter in that bathroom must get a quick wipe down because there was a piece of fingernail in the corner that has lived there a bit because its caked in dust... also there was a dead but on the floor showing it wasn't moped or cleaned. Could be it died after. But there was a dead one in a towel I used. Only found it because it was on my leg after drying myself from the shower. I wanted another shower. Like I said I would not recommend unless you want a really cheap uncomfortable stay.

A perfect place to break up the drive from Toronto. Close to the highway but quiet with comfortable beds in well appointed rooms. A nice continental breakfast with good choices makes this one to use again.

Fantastic room. Didn't stay long enough to taste the people but the room was amazing. Lots of space, huge shower, couch, chair... Great! Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Toast, cereal and coffee. Baked beans and hard boiled eggs. There was an espresso machine too, but I want brave enough to try it.

Close to transcanada highway. Visit Dools next doors for a beer.

Clean and comfortable. Nice location right of the highway with lots of restaurants around. First time I've had a computer in my room and it was a nice iMac. 50" smart TV was also a welcome change to the normally small screens. Great that it was a smart TV too so I could login to Netflix. More hotels need to upgrade to this rather than lock things like Chromecast out.

The Dauphin Hotel in St Hyacinth QB is a lovely stay for commuters. It is located near the highway and has numerous places to eat and shop in the surrounding areas. Front desk staff are polite and attentive the hotel is clean, the rooms have wonderful equipment such as large screen TVs and Apple Computers. The bathroom was recently updated with a “rain like” shower head. Take out breakfast is available during the pandemic. Reasonable accommodation cost. Thank you for a lovely visit.

This was the best hotel experience and value I have had in many years. Safe, convenient, clean and modern. Lots of parking. Close to many restaurants to walk to. The rooms were modern and eco friendly. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The staff was great. The freshly baked goods and coffee for breakfast were above expectations. I will be telling many of my friends and relatives to stay at le Dauphin.

Though you might not expect as much from the plain exterior, the hotel rooms are excellent. Clean and well made beds and nice decor for the price point, along with quite a large flat screen television. Especially loved the armchairs. Also the free wifi was excellent - fast, consistent, and no login whatsoever. However, there were a few issues that keep me from giving the room 5 stars. First, the in-room Mac PC did not work, not a huge problem for me as I did not find it necessary for my needs but if you book your room expecting to have a computer to use you may find yourself disappointed. Another issue was the toilet paper - 2 ply and quite rough, not the worst but could be a lot better. The last thing I noticed was in the shower, there were no ledges to place soap/shampoo. Just a minor inconvenience for me but I could see this being a problem for elderly or disabled guests. However, overall a great experience and I would definitely return to a Hôtel le Dauphin if I ever find myself in Quebec again.

Nice, modern room and comfortable bed! The breakfast was simple but it was great for me!

👍👍 Very nice golf course! Probably the nicest one in Saint-Hyacinthe. If i’m not mistaken, this is a private course turned semi public, and the quality of the course really speaks for itself. Good food too!
