You can't go to Barcelona and not visit Sagrada Familia! Buy your pass well in advance (before you leave for your trip) because they tend to sell out on the popular times. The story of Goudi and the design are worth listening to the free audio guide - you can download their app for free after buying the tickets online. The design, architecture, materials used etc are breathtaking inside the still being built cathedral. Possibly the only church that I have paid for an entrance, but the upside is the access is limited and fewer people inside than, say, Notre Dame, Deumo, Vatican or even Pisa.

The Holy Family has placed the star of the Virgin Mary. A historical fact as it is the last piece to be placed in the tower and that changes the profile of the city of Barcelona. Bin wirklich kein Kirchgänger, aber das muss man gesehen haben.

Not very impressed with the idea behind building such a mammoth structure. Of course mighty impressed with the building.... But that's it.... 1-2 hrs are enough to go around.

I've seen so many churches and cathedrals, this has to be the best designed.

The visit is a must if you are in Barcelona but to be true I fail to understand the architectural style of Gaudi. This place is grand and one can visit it just to appreciate the grandness. I could book the ticket on the spot on a weekend.
