Nice long beach for sunbathing and for swimming! Ideally if you just want to sit and relax or sunbath. There are some people who are offering massage and selling some products too!

Nice beach. Chairs for rent if you are early. Life guards on watch. Course sand with steep entry. Neck deep 20 yards out.

The Bogatelly beach is perfect for relaxing alone or together with fiends and family. Coast with uphill. Nearly volleyball playgrounds - these are showplace of that beach. And be careful, in August - have a good chance to catch jellyfish :( Solt water, ice and keep calm.

I love this beach! Close to the Ramba de Poblenou . Soft sand and no rocks. Clear water. Showers are very low pressure compared to other beaches though.

The water is absolutely breathtaking. Nice, close facilities: Restaurants on the beach these are all pluses / Now the negative: nudity allowed, no sign or any indication of, (what if I have my adolescent grand child with me and guy next to me pulls out his junk), Rude employees at restaurants, Sand isn't beach sand, hard and coarse, probably trucked in after the last storm. Hope this helps.

Favorite beach of all time! Wasn’t scared of my stuff getting taken and was able to enjoy time with friends care free as long as one person was watching our stuff. 100% recommend. Water felt amazing!

Nice sandy beach 🏖️ The advantage over others is the shallow water at the beginning of the beach.

One of the cleaner and less noisy beaches; still full of trash like all in Barcelona: from freshly empty cups, bottles and cans, thru floating bandaids and plastic packaging, to ever-present cigarette butts. Still, harder to find a better option without leaving the city :)

We chose this place because it is very crowded in Barcelona, the most famous beach of Barcelona. Pretty nice beach. If you want umbrellas and sunbeds, you have to pay a fee.

We loved this beach. Very clean an you can rent sunbeds. We paid 45€ for two sunbeds and umbrella. Even tho it’s expensive, to us it was totaĺy worth it. We even loved the overpriced drinks and fruit you can buy there lol.

As any beach is better than the streets behind but busy, dirty, crowded and sometimes foul-smelling even in late February. I have never been there in the summertime, but I would avoid it.

Barcelona is littered with great, clean sandy beaches (who cares that they are man-made) and this is one of the good ones. Easy to access by a pleasant walk down Rambla del Poblenou, it has all the beach amenities one would expect plus a number of restaurants and bars. This beach is separated from town by a small park which gives it a more secluded feel than some of the other Barcelona beaches

Came here in September 2022 and had a great time. We paid 30eur for two sunbeds and a parasol for the whole day. Now (July 2023) we returned to the same spot where they said the same old sunbeds would cost us 60eur for 2.5 hours. 🤯 Absolutely disgusting! There were 5 of us so do the math… On top of that all showers were off so you can’t even get the salt off of you.

Nice spot to chill on a breezy sunny November Saturday. Strawberry Daiquiri was decent.

Not as crowded as the ones closer to barceloneta, this beach is beautiful, clean and not too noisy. There are small courts for beach voley, small baths and open showers for after your swim. And there is also a life guard station.

Platja del Bogatell is an amazing beach located to the North East of the city centre. It has very soft, yellow sands and blue, iridescent waters. There are also some small boats passing the sea from the nearby marina. It is a short walk from Barceloneta beach.

Went to see sunrise there. It was magical. Very few people were there for exercise or to just enjoy a sunrise and calmness of the early morning.

Nice beach with a bar and a place to rent a SUP board. I strongly recommend taking it for just an hour as it was the most fun we had.

City beach with cool vibes, less crowded and more local than famous Barceloneta. Great for chilling, running, skateboarding and sunrise watching.

Great spot a little ways out from town that's very clean. Loungers and umbrellas are available for hire or if you don't fancy one of those you can hire a throw from one of the many guys pacing the beach lol 😆. One of the bars does beach service to 🙌🏾 😎 👌🏾

It is interesting beach. Nice restaurants near. It was clean and accessible there is space for volleyball ( you might need to bring the kit including net) . And it feels nice and safe.

I went a few days ago, and again today. Today, it was filthy. Garbage, including broken glass, mixed in with the sand within 20 minutes of the shoreline. Lots of garbage in the surf, floating in the water. Unappetizing. As hot as it was, I stayed out; I would rather have spontaneously combusted than go in.

It's a good place to go if you don't want to move from Barcelona, but sometimes there are places on the beach that smell very bad.

The beach was very clean and quiet in the second week of november, but the weather was great. I was surprised to find a crystal-clear water with beautiful blue and turquoise shades.

Nice beach, far enough away from old town and downtown to avoid huge crowds but still pretty full. Found some available seats near panteya for drinks.

Clean water and clean shores. People are coming frequently to pick up the trash.

Nice beach for family and friends. They have cabanas for seating and if in extremis there are people selling beach blankets for you to sit on. There is a park right across the street.

  • 4/5 Dena H. 1 year ago on Google
Said to be a popular beach in Spain. It was alright with many places to sit. The water was dirty with debris from sticks and some plastic trash. Make sure to bring euros if you want beach blankets, coverups, massage, water and drinks.
