Enric Català Is a professional sommelier and he shares his knowledge both in initially gathering an understanding of the group, then selecting the wineries accordingly. We were all very pleased with the transportation, the wineries visited and the terrific lunch. I highly recommend Enric to anyone interested in a serious wine tour!

Interesting experience

This was hands down the best wine tour we have experienced. The education on not only the wines, but the regions was exceptional. It was one of the best days we have spent in Barcelona. The communication was excellent .

Enric coordinated a last minute, 2 winery tour of Albet i Noya and Can Bas for four. He provided excellent information on the history of the region, background on the winemakers and vineyards as well as details of each of the wines and cavas we tasted. Both of the estates we visited are unique and key in ongoing development and growth of the wine industry in the Penedès region. The lunch provided was exceptional. Highly Recommended and the highlight of our trip to Spain.

Enric is a fantastic guide, very personable and knowledgeable. The 3 wineries we went to were tailored to our preferences, and provided delicious cavas and food in amazing venues. Would definitely do this again and would highly recommend!

We have the most amazing wine tasting tour thanks to Xavi!! Xavi pick us up at our hotel right on time with a huge smile. He grew up there so was full of information about the area, culture as well as wine and the wine region. We decided to visit two wineries one including lunch. Our first experience was seeing the discouragement of champagne in person. What a treat! I really enjoyed it. Great wine with a personal tour from someone working at each winery. We felt like we were in the best hands, and with the best company. We would highly recommend this company, and if you have a chance to have Xavi as your guide you’re in luck!

We had an incredible day with Enric as he took us out to Penedes for a couple private winery tours! His winery selections were excellent. He was a pleasure to be with - very knowledgeable and personable. He even took us to a local chocolate store - bonus! Thanks for a wonderful day, Enric!

Absolutely loved this wine tour. Enric was a wonderful guide, who could provide us with a ton of information on both the wines and the region. We had the opportunity to visit three different wineries with all of them special in their own way. It was an incredible experience that we would absolutely repeat if we find ourselves back in Barcelona.

We booked the Penedes winery tour with Tacadevi and I would say it was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona! Enric communicated with us prior to our arrival in Spain, picked us up at our hotel right on time, and was very knowledgeable about all things wine! It was delightful to spend the day with him. From the wine caves, to amazing views of Monserrat, to a delicious lunch at the third winery, our day could not have been better. Every wine we tried was a winner and we had much of it shipped home to enjoy over the next several years! Thank you Enric and Tacadevi!

We had a terrific day exploring wineries of the Penedès region. Enric was a fantastic host! He had a personal relationship at each of the wineries; it felt very exclusive and special. He was very attentive and tuned to our needs through out the day meaning he could tell when we were bored of too much explanation and eager to get to the tasting. He encouraged and facilitated discussion about the wines and the wine region and brought much knowledge and personal experience to the conversation. A great day was had by all; easily one of the best wine tour I have been on.

We did a day trip with Enric and had a fabulous experience. It was a private and personalized wine tasting consisting of a Cava winery and then a nice lunch in another fabulous winery. Overall, we had great wines and we learned so much about Spanish wines as well as the culture of Catalonia! It was a great experience and Enric made it so! We highly recommend this wine tour! Enric was the perfect and very nice travel companion for our 5 persons wine club visit to Emporda. With his knowledge of the wines, wineries and wine-people we achieved a comprehensive understanding of the wine district and the styles of their wine.

We cannot recommend this wine tasting and tour experience enough! The entire day exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, to the moment he dropped us off, we enjoyed informative explanations about vineyards, wine production, storage, and more; delightful wineries and beautify scenery; delicious wines and perfectly paired and personalized treats, and a comfortable ride to get there. Lunch was not only delicious and plentiful, but the setting was so special! With all of that, the most special part of the day was the 4x4 tour ... we can unequivocally and enthusiastically recommend this tour in particular! The large jeep took us right up the mountain, where we could witness for ourselves the extra special vines growing right through rock on the side of the mountain. With a beautiful view and standing among these vines, we had our first tasting along with the winemaker himself. Enric curates a truly extraordinary wine tasting and winery tour ... attention to every detail, a perfect combination of experiences, and our senses heightened and happy. He's a gem and this is a must-do when visiting Barcelona!

Enric was wonderful! Our tour of the Priorat was really special. He greeted us with breakfast in his very comfortable car and took us to three excellent wineries and a wonderful lunch. He is very knowledgeable and introduced us to equally personable and knowledgeable locals. I highly recommend his tours.

This tour was a great way to understand the history of the region, to try grape varietals that are often hard to find in the USA and taste styles ranging from classic to hippie. Booked the Pendes 3 winery tour in May and it was definitely the highlight of my trip. Enric was an excellent host and all of the wineries he selected were great - Can Bas was definitely my favorite! We had 4 tastings and snacks at each winery along with detailed tours from the winery hosts. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the Barcelona wine region in a unique way.

A unique wine tasting exeprience in the Penedés area. The guide, the professional and passionate sommelier Enric, gives you an unforgettable tour by taking you to selected bodegas. We really enjoyed the day and the bodegas we visited and the exquisite wine we tasted. I would very much like to repeat the experience another year!

For my bachelorette party, we did a full day wine tour with Enric. What an amazing experience! The vineyards we visited were beautiful with a fantastic selection of wines and local foods. What a day! We booked a Penedès Cava&Wine tour at Taca de vi for our family (2 couples) and our guide and sommelier Enric picked us up at hour hotel in the morning. After a comfortable ride with many information about the region we visited a local Cava producer in a marvellous little village amongst the wineyards and after that the absolut extraordinary and elegant Winery of a renowned Wine and Cava producer. At both locations we had very professional and informative tours through the cellars guided by local staff and Enric, followed by tastings of their Cavas and wines accompanied by some local food. All was very beautiful arranged, absolute relaxing, without any rush. At the end of the tour we had a tasting at the halls of the major wine producer of that region. Enric handled the entire tour absolut professionell and with his knowledge of wine he could answer every question.... Thanks again for that marvellous day!

My love and I had the most Perfect trip to a New winearea for us. Arranged by Enric. The Perfect guide, driver and sommelier. We visited both a charming family wineestate and a bigger more industrialised. Both High standarts, with sweet and informative guides on the estates. Possible to taste, and buy estate wines and possible to have og sent to your doorstep. It was a a both intime and extravagant experience.

An excellent day with Enric on a private tour to the Penedes wine region. A professional and knowledgeable guide who showed us some of the best. We started at Mont Rubi with its spectacular views and interesting wines including a delicious dessert wine. Then on to Recaredo which included an informative tour, a disgorgement demonstration and of course a tasting. Then we finished at the beautiful Can Bas with a tasting that included lunch. Enric was excellent all the way through and I can highly recommend the tour.
