I want to say thank you to Mariana and Marcelino Jorge for taking great care of our 23 year old daughter and her hiking companion. Their hostel/B&B was full and when they saw our daughter come in from the heat, hiking the Camino on their way to Fatima, Marcelino and Mariana took them in to her own home and cared for them. Even gave them a wonderful breakfast and sent them on their way. If you read this review and stay at Casal Dos 5, please give Mariana a big hug from me.

Mariana is a great host! The place is cosy, just made for the rest. Amazing and rich breakfast, friendly atmosphere, whirlpool, sauna and pool earned the best rating possible.

A true gem in Portugal! If you are looking for a 5-star experience in a private B&B, this is one of the best. We will be coming back to this one!

Best Bed and Breakfast in the country! Local food, local people, fantastic house and an interior pool with warm water. Couldn't ask for anything better!
