I actually did not get a real chance to visit last time I was there. But was told that it is a fabulous museum and one needs 3 hours to visit. Will return in April this year.A great selection of tanks especially those used in the Colonial Wars in Angola and Mozambique.

They say (it's in written form) that they work until 19:00 and last entry is at 18:30. I entered at 18:00 and was allowed access only to the courtyard. I was out by 18:15. The ticket office was opened...

Were greeted by a soldier and directed to the ticket office. Another soldier was waiting for us and took us to the first part of museum, where we were told by hand signals no photographs. At first there were explanations in English but unfortunately it was not consistent. Throughout the whole time a soldier was walking up and down watching us. It made us feel a little uncomfotable.

This is the best house that I ever have been In the out side you have a jatecuzy and a pool and a small river with some kayaks. In the interior of the house you have the leaving room and a bathroom. The rooms are in the Roth

This place was quite the surprise! Looks very unassuming from the outside but it is actually filled with just an overabundance of military artifacts and perhaps the largest collection of military vehicles I have been able to see and touch and in person! An absolute pleasure for any military geek and definitely recommended for any military historians as well, and definitely worth the money at 3 euros/person

Most gracious staff, interesting materials inserted in the biggest portuguese fortified city. 3€ to enter is a bargain. If you like fortifications I can help.
