A true excellence in Carcavelos. Sophisticated atmosphere, trained and kind staff. This place looks at the ocean through its hall. Expert cuisine prepared without frills. Excellent quality-price relation.

The restaurant could be a bit expensive for the Portuguese wage however the quality is very good. Whatever you select between fish and meat you will get a great meal. The atmosphere is very good and the restaurant is quite big, I guess you will always be able to get a table. Recommended!

Lovely romantisch chique restaurant. Super friendly people. A other experience then I had already in Portugal. I had a special sole delicio meal. Very clean. Lovely live music. I'm coming back. The only tip I have for the restaurant, tell people that the olives are salty before they choose them. And let them also choose to fill their fish theirselve iff they want to do that.

Very good fish and seafood 🦞 in Carcavelos beach. A little bit overpriced but the views and location are amazing. I recommend the “arroz tamboril” that was delicious. It is rather classic than fancy but definitely a place to go.

Good food, good service and good ocean view but extremely expensive for the quality and quantity offered. Advice: stay away from all the entrances they show you. All together they cost around 30/40€.

Came for Christmas lunch, was not impressed by the food, on the contrary, I was a little dissapointed - the shellfish rice and the sole fish saved the lunch. Deserts weren't good. Dont think ill be back, but I have to say however that the service is absolutely impeccable. Fantastic staff, food needs a major upgrade.

Delicious seafood along the water. Service was great and room is perfect for a relaxed meal. Worth the trek outside the main area of Lisbon

This sounds a bit weird, but the administration told me that this restaurant doesn’t have a restroom. I needed that and I was ready to stay and order something, but the waitress directed me to a pizzeria nearby. Absolutely shame. Please make a restroom in your fashionable place, it’s not okay.

My family and friends had an amazing pre-wedding dinner here. The food was authentic Portuguese cuisine and it was delicious. We received many compliments. The restaurant was also very accommodating and communicated well with reserving the dinner for a large group.

I have been living in the area for 40 years and Pastorinha has always been my special restaurant, a place for special occasions, for feeling rich. During the pandemic we stopped going everywhere, and even before that we had spent a while not going. Last Tuesday we decided to celebrate my son's 45th birthday there and so my husband, me and our son booked and went. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The food took about 1 hour to arrive and all that time the waiters just brought to the table a basket with some bread slices and small toasts, nothing else. There was no piano player anymore and it was not chic at all, just rather noisy. Cheap candles were on the tables. We chose our food and while we were waiting, they did not even bring butter, cheese or dips, as the exaggerated price would require. Just those bread slices. Sometimes one of the two waitresses that were nearby came by and as they were Brazilian and didn't fully understand Portuguese, if we said something that they did not get, they would reply, too colloquially "Oi??", which we disliked a lot. We were very tired and hungry by 9 PM when the food finally arrived and to our dismay it was absolutely nothing special (steak and fries, fish fillets and grilled fish). The steak was almost raw and dripping blood and the fries were cold. It had to go back and be replaced by something edible. The fish dishes were totally normal and featured no special presentation or decoration, just plain dishes as in any other neighborhood restaurant. There are much better choices in the area both in terms of ambiance as food and even sea view. Never again. Burial of a nice memory!

We are Americans visiting Lisbon and picked this restaurant based on the reviews and photos. We had the most wonderful staff who mostly spoke English as well. We ordered the paella which was enough for 4 people even though the menu lists it for two. The espresso and desserts, especially the sericaia, were also delicious. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Great view and place. You can get a sea fresh fish but at a pricey price. The fish it's very well served (grilled) with traditional Portuguese side dishes, greens and potatoes. The restaurant needs to find something distinct that could make sense for the price. There are other near river/sea restaurants with better price and quality.

Nice place, nice people and good food.

Nice and fresh seafood. Even for a weekend, it wasn’t too busy, staff was friendly and attentive to us. Pleasant view. Perfect combination of food and drinks, with the background music and sea view.
