Great sea food. No frills. No fuss. Laid back atmosphere. Good prices and good portions. Try the Portuguese cod fish (bacalhau).

(Translated by Google) It is better known as "Eduardo das Conquilhas". It is a great brewery specializing in seafood, especially crabs with an arranged hull. Sometimes there's the famous Alaskan giant crab. The service is good. Parking is not always easy, but there are car parks nearby. (Original) É mais conhecida por "Eduardo das Conquilhas ". This unpretentious restaurant never disappoints. Delicious and fresh seafood, like the shrimps, the lobster, the blue crab, the clams (coquina/razor/etc), the barnacles, and the always super friendly staff! Yes, sometimes you have to wait a while for things, either because the kitchen is taking longer or because the waiter might have forgotten your last order, but they sure make it up with their friendliness and good mood. This is not the place to go if you are short on time. The restaurant is always full and you will have to wait for a table, unless you go very early. So get ready to use your crab mallet and hear the pounding that takes place at your and other people's tables, get you hands dirty and watch out for those splatters!

Very tasty food. I think is best to make a reservation well I arrived at 12:30 and we had to wait a while to get a table. The service is really fast and the food is also nice. We had 4 different dished, drinks and dessert and we payed 70 euros por 4 people. The restaurant is near the train station so if you don't have a car it is easy to arrive.

This restaurant has been around for more than 50 years and continues to serve excellent seafood. We had the sapateira crab 🦀 and the conquilhas à Bulhão Pato (a type of clam in white wine sauce). Absolutely fantastic. The service was good and the owner of the restaurant, Eduardo, even offered my kids sweets after dinner. 😀. Highly recommended

Staff was super friendly and helpful. But my 3 star is for value for money. I had tiger prawns, cockles, pata negra and sea snails (and a couple of other small things). The value for money wasn’t great (€95), as I felt the dishes weren’t anything special. The atmosphere in the place is great though, feels very authentic and homely. To grab a few drinks and have some small snacks, I would highly recommend this place. I will give it another try and probably order the sapateiro (looked really good).

Must-visit when you're in the area! Absolutely fantastic seafood. Everything we had, including house dessert and wine were really good. They have many tables outside and some inside.

Excellent place for fresh seafood. Stays busy till late at night. They don’t seem to take reservations, but work with a system where your name is added to a list of others waiting at the door. In general the food is great; I was just surprised that they didn’t keep the scallop whole and instead almost puréed it. In my eyes that is a crime. The perceves were a bit too salty. The oysters and lobster were amazing. Atmosphere is that of a typical local marisqueria with the sound of hammers to open the various shellfish all around! I recommend it and will come back.

This is a very traditional and famous place and well known amongst Lisbon / Portuguese people. It gets quite crowded easily and prices have been increasing. So, worth visiting if you are in the area but don't bother to come from afar.

If you are looking for a tradicional family restaurant in Portugal, you should try this one. 1) Only 20 min from Lisbon 2) friendly staff 3) fair prices 4) fresh food 5) great wine What else do you need?

The food was good. Maybe a bit pricy. The stew with pig, fries, and seafood was a pleasant surprise. Fried squid was basic, and the sauce was bland. House vinho verde was nice.

A little place with a nice history. Not very cozy and can get pretty crammed at high hours. The food is great, however, the attitude of the staff is somehow unprofessional. You dont ask clients to leave (especially after they spent a considerable amount) just because you dont have spaces (although you have some spare tables in another hall) So 5 star for food and 1 star for the attitude make a perfect 3.

My friend took me here all the way from Ericiera just for one purpose: I wanted to try percebes too badly. We came here on Sarurday noon and place was packed. Without reservation, hostess put us to the wait list. We were given priority, coz I was time limited with my flight. And that was really cute from their end. Place is simple, but seafood is delicios. You can see all the restaurant history, to talk to relatives of owner (it's an old family business), they would say and show many interesting things about sea food. Happy that I had my seafood Portugal experience in such place like this <3

One of the best places in Portugal to eat shellfish platters. Budget friendly and professional staff. Love to take the family here for weekend lunches.

Eduardo is an institution. This cervejeira is the go to place in the area for fresh and amazing seafood. Extremely professional but also laid back service. Kindness and smiles. Can't recommend enough.

Slow and poor customer service... Waited here for over an hour for our main dish (which ended up being not what we had ordered) and over 30 minutes for just the appetizers which was just olives! The waiter did not even want to acknowledge us or ask if we wanted another drink while we waited... We ran out of bread while we waited and no one came to bring us more!

Very friendly staff and amazing service. Unfortunately they don't reserve tables on weekends but we managed to get a table in 20mins
